Our 5 year old dishwasher had been leaking a lot of water leaving puddles in our kitchen. Place…read morewhere we bought it and where we have been a loyal customer for 20 years sent 3 men on two separate trips to my house and none could figure out what the problem was. They suggested we would probably have to buy a new one. A second repairman came highly recommended by multiple people and he did not return several calls. A third came by, seemed to know what was wrong but after 3 visits and a repair of something the leaking continued. He promised to return and then went radio silent. We were ready to admit defeat and spend the money on a new unit when Chris was recommended. Chris came buy the same day I called and was the first repairman to pull out the unit and take it apart in order to diagnose the problem. He thought he had figured out the problem and the new part needed and then with more inspection realized that he was wrong and that a different part replacement would solve the problem. I appreciated that he was willing to look further and change his mind. Chris came back the next morning with the part, completed the repair and we had a working dishwasher for the first time in 3 months. He spent a total of perhaps 2 hours at my home and with the replacement part charged us a fair price. I give Chris my highest recommendation and only wish that I had known about him when our refrigerator died during the pandemic.

At huge cost. Then, when this didn't fix anything, they refused to come back to actually fix the problem for about a year! Finally he did agree to come back to do the job properly when another error code started appearing! E21 (drain pump problem) But this time, despite his being about 20 years younger than he had been a year earlier, he had even less than the vaguest idea what was wrong and didn't even know that if you have a drain pump not working, the water won't pump out of the machine. So if you open the door, the undrained water will cascade all over the floor! Somehow I wasn't confident enough in his diagnosis that I now need yet another drain pump along with almost equally expensive sensors 'and sundry boards! What was surprising was how disinterested the manufacturer Magic Chef were in all this incompetence on the part of their AUTHORISED service technicians
