Had a fun afternoon with the fabulous Rosemary, goddess of color. After years of hair coloring that always left me disappointed, or downright upset or looked good at first and then turned brassy, I finally found Rosemary at Carmine Minardi. She listened to what I REALLY wanted and didn't want and she made it happen. Totally customized around my natural brown hair color that has hints of red and knew that what worked for another color and texture hair would pull differently on mine. Gorgeous golden color with incredibly natural blonde highlights and really manageable base color that doesn't look grown out in a week. She's fun and the salon is lovely! Individual driers that rotate with no blowing. I can ask for a decaf cappuccino or a glass of wine, or whatever and it's in my hand moments later. Will never go anywhere else!!! read more

This review is coming from a person who always cries when getting a hair cut: I went into this salon and made an appointment for the following day with Rosemary. As soon as I sat in the chair she had me cracking up "what the heck happened to your hair" I told her the story of what happened and how I ended up with 2 colors in my hair from the week prior at a different salon and she asks "ok what do YOU want". Pleased that she actually cared I told her I had wanted more of a crimson red color and the blonde out of my bangs. She did her thing and as soon as she started blowing my hair out I could see the perfect crimson color in my hair. Asks good questions, and really listens. Then, and most importantly, she delivers. Everybody else does, too. Daniel called me back within 10 minutes after I requested an appointment online, and made me tea and my daughter a cappuccino as soon as we arrived. 5 minutes after I got there, the owner Carmine came and introduced himself, then checked back before I was done. He's an artist. He understands hair and how it needs to be cut to give you the best results.
