Joe gave us a summary and some history of this little hidden ,Gem how all the soups there are all fresh and home made. Family owned . My husband had to buy the clam chowder. I didn't want to argue over a small amount of money but the dishonesty is sickening especially since many of their customers are vulnerable seniors. The same day, I emailed their business directly asking them to make sure they talk to their staff about charging people the correct amount. They never responded. The ethical behavior of this business is dubious with management completely ignoring customer concerns. It appears that they only care about making a quick buck. What a shame. Especially if you don't have a freezer the size of a bathtub to place a couple of whole salmon in. The place is a warehouse and a commercial distribution center. You have to get a workers attention, (easy to do, they're all walking around) and have them lead to into the fish packing area. They ask you to put a hair net on and you go to a small room where a worker is cutting up sports fish. They'll smoke it, cut it into steaks, fillets or lox. Each are vacuum sealed individually so it keeps well and doesn't crowd up your freezer. Highly recommend the lox, a big hit every time we put it out for company. Didn't get a whole lot of favor when they smoked it for me, might do it myself next time.

They take cash & credit. We used a cooler with a blue ice block to transport back home. The guys at Paisano told me that the crabs will stay alive in the cooler from 5 to 6 hours so all good. My wonderful wife turned these babies into a wonderful salt & pepper crab over garlic noodles dish that was to die for. I recommend calling ahead to ensure they are open and have crab.

I was having a difficult time finding the location but it is in the same strip mall as the dollar store. There is plenty of parking. The store employees were extremely friendly and helpful. There are monthly specials available and this month was the jumbo shrimp!! I was able to pick up the special along with scallops and calamari steaks. Maybe there will be dine-in as an option one day. It's nothing like the one in San Francisco Ferry Building.
