Best place for masa. I come every year for prepared masa to make my tamales. Always have my order on time.

I've been here before. This time I got the barbecoa. It was so dry and tasteless. I dont know why I keep trying.

They didn't have any al pastor ready so I went to the steak and carnita with rice and refried beans.

Some highlights were the burger (the best I've ever had), the trout (also the best I've ever had), the charcuterie board (delicious), and the beef tallow fries (also delicious). The service was amazing; the servers were very nice and the food was very quick. Also, the ambiance was very nice; we were there on a Tuesday night and there was a waitlist (I recommend coming around 5 PM to beat the crowd). Overall, amazing! 5 stars.

Nothing arrives looking like it spent twenty minutes being positioned with tweezers. It's meat, bread, potatoes, pickles and sauce--the sort of food that requires napkins and leaves evidence. The Reuben is borderline obscene. A heap of deeply colored, tender meat barely contained between aggressively toasted bread, melted cheese and pickles. It's messy. It falls apart. You stop caring almost immediately. The turkey club is the quieter surprise. Thick slices of actual turkey--not the sad, uniformly circular stuff that's been haunting office refrigerators since the Eisenhower administration--piled onto grilled bread with bacon, avocado and enough richness to make the whole thing work. Then there are the potatoes: thick, fried rounds with crisp, dark edges and soft centers, served without ceremony alongside ketchup and a creamy orange sauce. Simple food done properly. There's nowhere for bad technique to hide. And that's really the appeal of Main Street Meats. They're not trying to convince you that lunch needs a backstory. They butcher animals, understand meat, make sandwiches and appear to take all of it seriously without taking themselves too seriously. Michelin noticed the place. After eating here, it's not particularly difficult to understand why. Come hungry. Order too much. Get the Reuben. Wear a shirt you don't particularly care about.

Decent selection but the OWNERS EGO is too big for me to shop here! Let me start by saying I've…read moreshopped here for 2 years and the men on staff are so nice and friendly. I usually stop in once or twice a week and Dakota is such a cutie and so helpful every time. The other gentleman also such a great smile and so helpful. BUT!!!!! The owner is a petty woman who apparently is never wrong and I just have an issue with a woman who would call another woman a liar and refuse to make any effort to retain customers who you deem "not worth helping". Long story short I bought a cake (same one my son loved at thanksgiving) and when he ate it he said it tastes like ear wax. I tried it and it was off so I called and asked for a call back so we could maybe return it or work this out. I mean I'm a somewhat long time customer, never had an issue, spent lots, surely I'd get help right? Nope! No call back, so I went to speak to someone with my husband and basically got told either I messed up storage or I'm lying... So after 2 years I chose to lie? OK Lady.. So she rudely speaks to me in front of my husband and because she's my elder I just kinda let it go because I'm not try to raise an old lady's blood pressure and I don't argue with ignorance, I'll just dispute it instead of arguing with someone who should've learned sometimes you get bad product.. Your store can't be 100 percent just perfect or maybe she didn't know but it's more than like she didn't care (the vibe she gave was very "oh my people owned colonels and this is the south") but it gets worse. My story stays the same but hers changes. I go in today and she's mad she didn't get her cake back!! You mean the one I messed up or lied about and you basically told me to just deal with it? That cake.. ok.. And then refused to help me and says from now on you must pay me in CASH!! CASH? Ok let's be serious. The product is good but your store is dirty, sometimes over priced, and the ground beef always smells and taste funny (only meat I don't buy) and you are too old to be acting like this. Anyone who's this old should know better don't you think? Maybe you need a course on business or as a customer pointed out to me going out the door you never seem to happy with people of a certain age and color (Lightbulb). I just said that to my husband last time who thought it was because we were a mixed couple. Really hope racism, ageism, or possibly even sexism isn't your issue. Didn't you learn manners? Sometimes I truly hate when someone is blessed with a handed down business they didn't earn and think they can just pick and choose who they deem worthy of excellent customer service. It was a cake, I've spent more on a 3inch porterhouse. I wish you nothing but the best but please remember businesses do get bad product and changing your story from lying, my fault and now (forgot this part) Selling the other half of the cake I didn't buy to a "customer " and they loved it! Ok... so now after 2 months you specifically remembered selling the cake and you know and remember to who and they loved it! I'll save you the demented lies and just let everyone know not to shop there and your views on certain customers. We're good to shop there as long as there is never an issue!

Fortunately, after 6pm it's both free and easy to find nearby. As a solo diner I was initially relegated to the bar but, I don't drink so I asked for a quieter table and within 5 minutes they accommodated me with a seat by the windows upstairs. The inside is gorgeous and they have a nice patio as well. Beautiful and low-key but elegant decor. Service was excellent and extremely proficient. Never had to ask twice for something and easily able to answer menu questions and make suggestions. I actually hadn't planned on ordering the Fattoush but, when I said I loved tomatoes it was recommended and I am so glad it was. It was a standout. In the end I ordered 3 things bc I was dining solo: -Hummus with crudité (veggies instead of bread) -Fattoush - seasonal ingredients. -Red Snapper - about 3oz so small portion but perfectly cooked and flavored. Loved this. I very much wanted the knafeh dessert but I knew the portion was big and didn't want to be miserable and waste it. They have a nice non-alcoholic menu with some interesting drinks as well. Overall - perfect final meal in town and I can't wait to come back with my husband and try even more!

Calliope is upscale business casual, which we were definitely not wearing, but we were treated kindly and we decided to dine at the bar which was an excellent choice .bartender server was excellent and really knew the menu and preparation! We paired with Armenian and Greek wine. Had Lebanese whiskey for afterwards. What a delightful and satisfying experience. We appreciate quality and craftsmanship of their food and wine. We will tell our friends who visit about this gem of Chattanooga! We will return.

Eight years ago, Rodizio was worth the visit. I returned on my birthday with my sister -- someone I hadn't seen in two years -- and it was the single worst restaurant experience of my life. The place was nearly empty on a Sunday evening, yet it hadn't been swept from corner to corner all day. It reeked of marijuana and mildew. The few guests present were visibly high, including our waitress. The salad bar was a disaster -- contaminated, uncleaned, and unsupervised all day. The meats were overcooked and extremely low quality (they've clearly switched to Sysco or whatever bulk supplier they're using now), sitting on the grill all day due to the lack of customers and still being served. The bathroom looked like a warzone -- water, soap, toilet paper, paper towels, and a diaper covering every surface. Not from a rush. From a full day of absolutely zero maintenance, just like the salad bar. When I tried to use my birthday coupon -- the entire reason I chose this restaurant -- the manager informed me it didn't apply because it was a holiday. A policy mentioned to no one before we were seated, even after I raised it with the host. When I pushed back, she said there was nothing she could do. I asked again, since we were never made aware of it. She dismissed me -- cold and unapologetic. On my birthday. In front of family. I paid the full bill in silence and left humiliated. I've dined everywhere from hole-in-the-wall spots to high-end restaurants across multiple countries. This was the worst -- not just the worst value or worst food, but the worst experience in every possible way. I would've been better off with a cardboard burger from McDonald's. Walk past this place. Save your money, your time, and most of all, your dignity.
