    carnitas super burrito

I ordered a super burrito de carnitas no crema & combo #1 de carnitas, it came with 6 tortillas & 2 salsas. I also ordered a large jamaica water, everything tasted delicious and homemade, definitely a new staple. Their customer service was great too. they even have an outdoor shaded seating area. great spot 10/10

You never know when they might not be open. They can be closed during normal business days and hours.

We tried the tacos and burritos, and they were good. A little pricey for what it was but, the food was good.

We also got the Mexican pizza (didn't get a picture) which was also really good, the grilled jalapeños and onions were the perfect addition to the pizza and the tortilla itself was soft but not soggy with all the toppings. Dessert options were a little sad, they don't have much, but the chocoflan did not disappoint. It was very decadent without tasting overly sweet. Now for service. We had reservations at 5:30pm on a Saturday so wasn't too busy yet. Got seated fast. Our server was a gem, don't remember his name, but he went above and beyond with accommodating dietary restrictions. Service was a bit slow on drinks but our server apologized for that. I didn't mind, I rather my food comes out first anyway. All in all, great experience, great food. Will be back to try more!

My cocktail was good. The menudo was not good, tasted like they didn't clean the meat well or something, it was just off. I asked for lime for my menudo and was charged $2 for lime. The restaurant was not very clean either.

Stopped in for a quick dinner to go and ordered a burrito bowl (no rice) to go. Unfortunately, what…read moreI received was basically a cup layered with black beans, grilled chicken, cheese, and a small splash of sour cream. There was no lettuce, salsa, guacamole, tomatoes, or any of the other toppings you'd expect in a burrito bowl. I'm giving it 2 stars only because the beans and chicken tasted good. However, paying $23 for a bowl this bare is hard to justify. I even asked for salsa on the side, and it wasn't included with my order. For the price, I expected a much more complete meal. Unfortunately, this experience was disappointing, and I won't be returning.

We ordered cheese enchiladas and chicken fajitas this time. The service was good. The waitress checked on us. We got seated in the garden patio and it was nice there. They kept it cool. The food was okay. The fajitas were served smoking hot with side of tortillas and sour cream, pico, and guacamole only. The veggies were well grilled and overall pretty tasty. I opted to not get beans. The enchiladas were okay. I didn't like them very much last time, and still didn't like them this time, either. We ordered the churro dessert. It came served with a side of ice cream and whipped cream. It was also okay. My visit to La Morenita was better this time than the last time, but still the menu felt pricier and probably won't come back. P.S. The chips and salsa were really yummy.

Came here to celebrate a graduate - on of course, graduation weekend. Considering how busy it was,…read morethe wait wasn't too bad. We had a party of 10+. Chips and dips were given upon being seated, drink orders taken, and were received fairly quickly. The chips themselves were delicious & so were the bean dips and salsa. For my entree, I ordered probably the most bland-sounding thing I have ever ordered. I ordered Dos Huevo's w/ Carne Asada. My plate was great! Carne asada cooked & flavored well & the eggs were also perfect. The rice it came with was decent, nothing crazy. I will say, oddly enough, on that warm day, I got a hot coffee to drink. The coffee was really good! I pretty much inhaled it, twice! Overall the place is nice, attentive, and good food!

I have seen so much traffic in and out for quite some time, so had this place on my "try it" list…read more The exterior looks nice, the lobby is pretty tasteful. So here are the pros: Service was good, chips, salsa and bean dip came out pretty quick. The bean dip is really good. The salsa is a little spicy and they don't have a milder option for spice intolerant folks like my wife. I enjoyed the salsa, she didn't. We ordered 2 chicken items, Garlic Chicken and diabla chicken. Both essentially the same item but with different sauces. The Garlic chicken was good for a bit, and then became pretty overpowering. The sauce is a butter sauce, that would probably be great on some pasta. The Diabla chicken was anything but spicy. The red sauce it was in was about as spicy as milk. The pickled jalapeño slices served on the plate were extremely spicy in comparison and they didn't have much heat to them. The service was much better than the food. I'm really surprised they have the amount of traffic they do with the food as lacking as it is. Might be the bar is where the draw is.
