Where do I begin? Carol is wonderful! I went to her to get highlights, color, and a trim before my sister's wedding. My mom found her through a recommendation of a family friend and was quoted it would take 2.5 hours (which was true). I won't lie, I was a bit worried going into the salon because I've had my share of terrible hair stylists since moving to LA, but Carol is very patient and she really puts in a lot of effort to make things right! Price wise, she's pretty cheap compared to other places I've looked at (and I've looked at quite a few). I had a 2pm appointment but got there a little past 1pm since I had plans later in the evening and wanted to make sure I had enough time. It must've been perfect timing because she just helped a little boy finish and started on bleaching my hair for highlights. I went with purple and was pretty scared since I never tried it before and I haven't dyed my hair in a very long time. All my worries went away as soon as my hair started to get dyed. The amount of effort and attention to detail to dye my hair was amazing. Have you ever had two people work on your hair at once? I haven't until today. It was wonderful! And the end result made me smile from ear to ear. Moral of this story? You won't be disappointed if you come here. Carol is amazing and so is the man who works at the salon with her. Unfortunately I didn't get his name but they are both very kind and attentive! The best part was that since she knew I was going to be a maid of honor at my sisters wedding, Carol went above and beyond and helped give me ideas on how my hair could look with simple instructions. Cut my hair way shorter then i asked, asked for a a little to be cut off and left my hair way too short.

Her time management skill need to be improved. My husband had an appointment with her and we arrived 5 minutes early. She was helping one customer and there was another one waiting. Ended up we had to wait more than 20 minutes. It's not a nice experience. Her haircut skill is good. But for me it's not worth it for driving 40 minutes there and waiting 20 more minutes to get a haircut done. read more

For the price and services, I'd give Carol 5 starts. She is very attentive, easy going and easy to communicate with my ideas of hairstyles. Her assistant washed my hair thoroughly and I was able to get in and out within an hour. The place is simple but sufficient. I had lob and grew too long which became kind of weird hairstyle. I texted Carol for an appointment and simple told her what I want. She only asked if I want to grow my hair longer. And then she started working. It turned out pretty goods not too short and sophisticated enough. I'm pretty satisfied with my experience here. Would recommend anyone who wants to get simple haircut to give it a try. read more

Came here as a walk-in customer to get a haircut. I usually go to Supercuts but decided to go elsewhere to get some consistency. I found this place through yelp and decided to give it a shot. I couldn't be more satisfied but I guess you have to take it with a grain of salt since my hair is really easy to cut. I have been here a couple of time already and i enjoy the consistency and relaxing atmosphere. She seems to do more of women's hair but she is also great cutting guys' hair.
