Every small town needs a local dive and Pineville Tavern serves those needs for the small but growing suburb of Pineville, NC. I was seeing a movie in the area, so I popped in here with some friends to grab some food and drinks beforehand. I had no idea what to expect and I actually drove past it the first time as it keeps a very low profile and is easy to miss. Inside it was larger than it looked from the outside, complete with a stage for live music, a lot of seating, and pool tables as well! The bar is right by the entrance, and walking in most of the seats were taken by people who seemed to be regulars based on their banter with the bartender, my kind of place. Their food menu consisted of mostly your typical pub fare, and I saw the burgers coming out and they looked dang good so I went ahead and ordered the bacon cheeseburger. It came with a big knife in it along with the tots I ordered. I enjoyed the presentation. The burger was cooked very well, but the bacon was a little dry. Overall I enjoyed the food and vibe of this place and I would definitely come back in if I was in the area. I think to fully appreciate it I need to catch some live music one night!

This place has a rather unassuming exterior but inside is a really laid back (sort of old school 1990s vibe) restaurant and bar with pool and a medium stage. The bartender is very approachable, easy to talk with, and highly competent. Ok, so the hamburgers here are incredible. I'd go so far as to say that the burgers at Pineville Tavern are the best in the greater Charlotte area. I hear the chef is from New Orleans. If so, that makes sense, because the flavor and texture is A+. As for a side, I recommend the tater tots.

Staff was rude. Food was awful. Burger patty was a good size but tasteless. Bun was soggy. French fries were limp and rubbery.

The bartenders were very kind. It's great that they have touch tunes. Playing pool was fun.

Very basic food that you can make at home. But it's cheap. Definitely a throwback to the 1980's or 90's.

We found parking a couple of blocks away for free. Security was easy to get through. They have lawn seating or actual seats. Lots of beverage stations, also some food trucks. We had great seats right in front of the stage, but honestly there's not a bad seat here as it's not a huge venue. Ticket prices are kinda steep as are the alcohol beverages served up in a plastic cup. I guess that's the norm these days though. I paid $100 for 2 beers and 2 mixed drinks. Sound was really good for the concert, it ran on time and overall was a great show. Located at The Bowl in Ballantyne where there are plenty of eating and drinking places. Great venue!

The proximity to resturants and retail us cool. Recently they have mandated the use of rental chair, removed quality restrooms for port-a-potty, mandated use of their provided libations with strict Coca-Cola use. (DASSANI is disgusting BTW), and use of same vendors over and over again thus lacking in diversity. The EPI staff is also not diverse nor do they have the best attitudes. I decided today would be my last AMP visit. I'll stick with the other two.

Each show is pretty affordable, everything we've seen thus far has been amazing! I love having this little gem in Concord. I will say the place could definitely use some TLC, as it is very old and slowly deteriorating and falling apart on the inside. Aside from that, we've never had any problems here. There's ample parking, lots of seating and space inside, clean bathrooms, and the prices are low and realistic, which is a huge plus!

The quaint theatre boasts beautiful stained glass windows and comfy seats and the cozy community theatre vibe where no seat in the house is a bad one. We were on the front row center this time and loved it! The actors in this production were spot on and I loved the OCT adaption of the book/movie. The comedic moments had us laughing, but the serious moments were quite powerful in this intimate setting, and even though I knew the story, found myself leaning towards the stage waiting to see what was next! Visit the website for upcoming plays and patronize this precious hometown gem, you won't be disappointed! There is local artwork for sale in the lobby and light refreshments offered as well for reasonable prices. For every play I've attended at least part of the cast is mingling with the patrons following the play and I just adore that! So fun to chat with them and share your thoughts about that night's production. I can't wait to go back soon...seriously - check it out! It's not fancy but full of charm, not pricey but well worth the ticket price and not broadway, but an awesome way to spend a couple of hours and support local actors and musicians - what more can you ask for?
