We went in to buy a newer Cadillac which I found and purchased (no haggle at all) . Juat make sure you know what you want before you go because you get a 15 min ride around the block for test drive and that's it. I asked several times to make sure my tag was transferred and insurance was on my car before leaving and neither was done. I had to add the insurance myself next day and wait for the new tag to go transfer the tag myself. My daughter and I purchased a 20 year-old Monte Carlo (as is) 8/12/24. The dealership assurred me the car was as pristine as it appeared in the photos. We were on our way driving it back to central PA. We soon had a flat tire. The dealership picked us up, grabbed the car, gave us a loaner and repaired the tire and checked the other tires. They were all professional, friendly, accommodatingdating and nice to get to know. We had absolutely no issues immediately driving 625 miles straight to Pennsylvania. After dealing with Carolina Auto Direct I honestly don't know how anyone could write a negative review. Wesley and the crew couldn't have done a better job with this very anal out of state buyer. In this era of customer non-service these guys knocked it out of the park. Very refreshing. I drove 4 hours from Georgia and the car was ready when I got there. Wesley got my registration and insurance card while I looked around at some of the most awesome used car inventory on the planet. Had me road worthy and out of there in like 40 minutes. It would have been 15 but way too many things to look at while I was there. I would encourage everyone to give this establishment a look. I will do business with them again in the future. I had been taking my car to Mr. Tire but their service has gone way down hill. They spent a week telling me they were trying to find a part for my car. I finally asked if I found the part could they put it in. Absolutely they said. I had the part ordered in 5 minutes. And when I say 5 minutes I am being literal. It took me 5 minutes. When I called them the next day to set up an appointment they suddenly didn't have anyone who could put the part in. The guy who could put it in no longer worked there. It was a clockspring. Anyway, I then had to scramble to find a place because the car wasn't safe to drive at this point. I went down the phone book calling places. Carolina Auto Direct was the only one who would squeeze me in the next day when my work week started again! And I am so glad to have found them. They are incredibly nice and professional and I truly felt I could trust them with my car. And because I am late writing this review I have actually since been there for some routine car maintenance and my bf is now going there as well. And we have both been happy with the service. If I were you, I would not put trust in Carolina Auto Direct for much of anything. They have probably the highest shop labor costs in the whole area, and they no better than any other shop around the Lincolnton NC area. I had them try and take care of an ignition problem with my 2001 Jaguar. After almost 3,000 dollars, they could not take care of the problem. I was told they had no idea how repair the problem or how to identify the problem. So I took my car to the Toyota Clinic, after extensive research, they found out how to make the repair. After that was done, I was told that one of the three ignition coils that Carolina Auto Direct said they changed had never been changed. The problem was repaired at Toyota Clinic, and I took the evidence to Carolina Auto Direct asking for them to pay me back the cost for the repair, they told me they do not make such mistakes and never cheat people with work not done. They even charged $60 more than Cloninger Ford charged for an oil change on my 2019 F350 6.7 Dually! Go somewhere else, get your work done right and for less money!!!!! read more

Worked up a deal on vehicle with salesman and traveled 2 1/2 hours to dealership to make sure car was represented correctly online and through conversations over the phone with salesman. Let's just say that it was totally not in the condition as represented by dealership. Vehicle left a pool of oil on pavement where they parked it prior to our arrival, check engine light came on and started blinking as we pulled out for the test drive, and too many other issues to list that clearly was not made known by anyone there. Pointed out issues to them and they of course acted like they never knew any of the issues existed. However they agree to give back deposit because vehicle was not as represented... Sounds like guilt to me. You got caught trying to pawn your piece of shit off on someone. Unfortunately for you, we weren't the suckers you thought we were. I would highly recommend going somewhere else if you are in the market for a used vehicle. If they do it once, you know they will do it again... read more
