They have their own small parking lot that is free for customers. After ordering food inside or at the little tiki bar, they will text you when the food is ready and then you come back to a small pick up window to pick up the food. They have one highchair available, which does not have a seatbelt. For Sunday brunch, we tried the special pumpkin French toast, made with the pumpkins from the October pumpkin patch, and Sandbar breakfast sandwich. The pumpkin special wasn't written anywhere, I was just told to me verbally from the staff. She didn't mention it had hot honey, so it had a little kick from that. I would've preferred it to not have hot honey, since I was not in the mood for a spicy French toast. Otherwise, it was good, had a mild pumpkin flavor. I was still a little bit hungry after eating all of it. The Sandbar breakfast sandwich was good, had Carnitas, eggs, tomato, cheddar cheese. Coffee is available-don't expect anything great. It was sunny during lunchtime, and there is no covered seating outdoors unless you want to sit indoors. We ended up sitting on the pier, which was a lot more windy, which made it cooler. We came on another day on a Friday night when they were having their bonfire event with live music around 6 PM. It was very busy, tons of people. There were a few bonfires-it was too smoky to sit by the bonfire but there was no room anyway. There were some open bench tables on the pier itself. We tried the burger, which was good but not the best burger in the world. It came with seasoned (looked homemade) potato chips. Food is a little pricey, which is not surprising, given the location. But it is really a nice location, given that it's on the beach. So still worth a visit for the location and fairly good food.

Wonderful experience at the (North End) Carolina Beach Pier. Outside on the beach along the pier they had a beautiful set up of Christmas trees on the beach for purchase or even just to walk through and enjoy. The juxtaposition of Christmas trees on the beach is just something I love so much. We went in and had lunch on the top floor of the pier and it was decked out beautifully in Christmas Decor. The music was great, service, food and views were all wonderful! I know it gets very busy (on season) but it was so refreshing to enjoy it to ourselves.

White Christmas, Frosty After Dark and Sweater Weather! Delicious!

We went the first day of the unveiling of their special holiday drinks! No food service on this date! We tried all 7 of their speciality cocktails and they were all great! Wish I could recall the names of my favorites, but see pic below! These special drinks will be served through early January! And can't beat those ocean views!

Fun little tiki bar on a pier. Great.place to ha e a drink and watch surfers or just people watch. They have many events every weekend, so there is always something going on at the pier.

I forgot to take a picture of the menu! But I think my sandwich was some shrimp roll and my husband got the burger- which was huge! My shrimp roll was so fresh and delicious. Orange crush cocktail was 10/10, and the sweet tea was good too.

Completely rusted away bolts and brackets, everyone on and under the piers lives are in jeopardy

The greedy owner puts children and families in danger, look at all the completely rusted away bolts. You're better off going to the Kure beach pier or Wrightsville Beach pier. The original owners were the best but it has new owners, all the local regulars stopped going here. It's an overpriced tourist trap now. Lots of people get their cars stuck in the sand parking lot. The owner scams people on busy days charging them to park on public beach access land. The stairs and railings are falling apart. Keep your family safe and avoid this place, the pier could collapse or a support beam could fall and kill somebody. The other pier's are so much better, this place is the worst.

Just visited for the first time and this place was on point. Chill, relaxed vibes and the oceanfront view was perfect to watch the sunset. Drinks were good and the mahi sandwich and shrimp roll we had for dinner were both delicious. Service was friendly as were the customers. It was the atmosphere you would want on a beach vacation. Highly recommend a visit!

The pier did not disappoint during our October visit to Carolina Beach! This place is a gem, with live music, good food and beautiful views. Kid friendly, dog friendly, night life or family friendly. I specifically wanted to post because we enjoyed breakfast there this morning. It's a simple menu, but delicious! Get the burrito or loaded waffle. Definitely a spot you want to make a point of visiting!

    Drinks with a view!

Having grown up going to Carolina, Kure, and Ft. Fisher beaches, it was a treat to stay so close to the pier. What a treat for this pier to have drinks, food, and a great view! The food is ok, but the staff are superb! The drinks are delicious, and there is nothing like sitting on top of a beautifully lit pier with live music in the evening. A must-visit!

    The view!

Nice place with friendly employees. Free to walk the pier. Nice gift shop inside with an occasionally long line for the ice cream.

The sandwiches are excellent. But no choice of sides, other than cold, greasy pre-fried chips in a bag. Shew!

"Delicious dive on Lake Park Blvd in Carolina Beach"…read more Came here for lunch on a Sunday at right around noon. The place is dark and kind-of makes you feel like you're in the bowels of a wooden ship. There's a large bar in the center, and a few tables around it, as well as a few tables outside in the back. We were seated right away. I ordered the hot honey shrimp wrap as well as the pickled veggies appetizer. My dining partner got the quinoa grain and greens bowl with blackened tuna. Our food came out in around 10 minutes. The hot honey shrimp wrap came with french fries, to my surprise (didn't see that mentioned on the menu), which were fine. The wrap itself was DELICIOUS. MAN, that hot honey was SO tasty, and the greens and corn batter on the shrimp really complemented it well. It is a very, very messy dish to eat with your hands, so be prepared, but it's well worth the sacrifice. The pickled veggies were local and very tasty-- also a very good value for $5. My dining partner really liked her bowl and the tuna in it as well. The staff were quite attentive, regularly checking in, filling drinks, and clearing dirty plates. Only caution is that a lot of the batters are corn-based, so be careful if you have that allergy. Overall, would very happily come back-- great in all respects. I recommend highly!

We arrived around 4:30 and beat the dinner rush, which gave us a beautiful evening outside. From the moment we sat down, it felt less like going to a restaurant and more like coming home after a long day at the beach. Our servers, Abigail and Allie, were both wonderful--friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcome. Service like that is getting harder to find these days, and they deserve a lot of credit. We started with the fried okra, and there were barely any left by the time I thought to take a picture. Crisp, hot, and some of the best we've had. The Black and Red wings were excellent too--full of flavor with just the right amount of kick. The fries were seasoned and cooked just right. The outside seating has a great atmosphere, and even the little details stood out. The place was clean, including the restroom, and seeing their 97.5 sanitation score posted proudly gave us even more confidence. They even had a Venus flytrap outside--only in Carolina Beach can a restaurant have its own bug patrol on duty. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. We'll definitely be back.
