Knew it wasn't going to be the best when I pulled up to order. My gf wanted a burrito and I was bragging about this place. Ordered supper burritos from door dash twice and it was soooooo good! It was fresh, hot and delicious. I ordered our two burritos and it was ready in less than 5 minutes. That was an instant red flag. Got home and it was dry and there was no grilled cheese on the tortillas. That was the best part from when it was ordered from door dash. So I was surprised why it wasn't like that when it was from the same store location. Went for a late lunch with my family and had a great experience. The taqueria is gorgeous, beautifully decorated and the cleanest place I've been in. The service was excellent. I ordered steak nachos and they were delicious. Crispy chips with a good amount of each ingredient, incredible flavor. My brother ordered shrimp tacos and I tasted one of the shrimp, perfectly cooked with excellent flavor. Others ordered the fries with chicken and said they loved their meals. My only complaint is that they put everything in styrofoam containers which is a huge waste to me, especially since we ate there. Other than that, we had an excellent experience. read more

my favorite place to go to when I'm craving nachos. I usually order the same thing everything 5 chicken tacos with everything and nachos with chicken. The in house sauce that they have is super tasty, I really like it that I always do end up getting it on the side as well. They have a lot of other options to order from. Tried the torta, the loaded fries, and a standard burrito, all asada. Got the hot salsa on all three items. Burrito was very dry and barely had any salsa in it, the loaded fries were okay but didn't really have a ton of flavor, and the torta also didn't have any spice to it. Asada itself was good, though. This place has always been good. The food is quality and fresh. I order my burritos Socal style as in no beans and rice. It will still come as a full size burrito no skimping. My friend orders his NorCal style with beans, rice and all the other stuff. His order was equally awesome. It comes with lime, radish, and a grilled Jalapeño. I top it off with a Jamaica! Not too much ice and always cold and refreshing. We ordered through Uber Eats and still received the order hot and fresh. The bad.... The burritos weren't labeled. This wasn't a big problem as we opened it to make sure we were getting the right burrito. She spoked to me as if I didn't understand what the requirements were and I was taken aback by such horrible customer service. This place has fallen off on quality and the passion they make the food with, it USED to be a really good spot but now they dont even care what your order is. I got a SUPER burrito (which wasnt no where near super) and asked specifically for no beans and no sour cream due to allergies with beans and I dont like sour cream. They said you know what lets make his day worse than it already is. Put extra beans in my burrito and pretty sure they put sour cream in as well. Are they not paying attention to orders? I came across this place on Instagram b/c it looked bomb. First thing I noticed, it was SO tiny in there and meant more as a take-out spot. No water cups, no soda fountain, one bar counter and a couple tables. Service: The gal taking orders was pissed off. There was no "hello welcome in", nothing. She was unwelcoming, extremely unfriendly, and she shouldn't be up front interacting w/customers. She has zero customer service skills. My tacos were fresh and hot. Decent flavor. I got up to ask for some salsa and homegirl looked ALL kinda bothered so I followed up my request with "these need some heat". She rudely replied "they already have salsa verde in them" and handed me some red salsa. I looked at her sideways and was like, what? So then I asked her friend who she was all haha-ing with, "excuse me, I was told there's salsa verde in these?". She's like yeah. and then the rude girl jumped in and was like, "there's already salsa verde in there", to which I replied "no there's not, b/c I didn't see it, there's just onions and cilantro." To which her friend replied "well they cook the meat in the salsa verde on the grill, to give the meat flavor". me: OK so it's a MARINADE. They had a little A-frame on the counter and I thought I saw it said check-in on Yelp and you get a free Jarrito. I checked-in, showed the girl my check-in and got my Jarrito. Later I realized that their sign actually said, if you left them a review, you get a free Jarrito. So apparently I can't read and she doesn't understand Yelp check-ins and reviews. So shame on them for trying to buy customer's reviews. The food overall was good, but the customer service was awful and makes me not want to return. Every time I call this place over the phone they seem to NEVER answer. I walked in and there was no one inside eating besides the people that were ahead of me in line. The only person eating inside was an employee who works there. I understand you can order on online but some people don't like to order online compared to over the phone especially with special requests. A girl walks into a taco bar... Hangry hit, and tacos are always a thing. I found tequileros taqueria (thank you Yelp) and we were both ready to get our taco on. Parking is tight and limited due to the numerous businesses sharing in the location. The interior is cute, and there arent many places to sit. Yes, its a super smll place. After reading through the menu, and asking a few questions, i ordered a quesabirri taco, and two of the shrimp tacos. The consume was an upcharge, which didnt make sense from their "three taco" order, since my shrimp tacos apparently cost more, and i only wanted enough for one taco. The order was ready fairly quickly, and i noticed that there were tons of to go orders. Yep, people walking in, phone orders, etc. It turns out that the business model is really just that " to - go". Pretty cool to set up a business that way, but leave room for the few that may wish to dine in. I like it! They graciously brought our food to the table, and the quesabirri was tasty, but not fabulous. It was far better than the shrimp. The shrimp tacos were off. The flavors didnt blend, part of the taco was super spicy, while another bite was meh. The shrimp itself was overcooked. I looked for my receipt on my tray, to see what i had been charged, and there wasnt one. When i paid, it wasnt given to me either. I asked about a receipt, and was told that they dont provide them! I have no idea what i was charged for anything, and the total didnt add up to the listed menu prices. She couldnt explain about the obvious overcharge, and said " that's what it is" Ummmm... no. As we were dining, we both noticed a horrific smell wafting through the place. It smelled like an outhouse. They dont have public restrooms, so its not THAT, but smelled like that. Came here on a Tuesday evening around 6:30 PM, I ordered the birria tacos and a horchata. Overall, the quality of the tacos was pretty good and very filling. The interior ambiance is Instagrammable, but one issue I do have is that they don't ask whether you're staying or ordering to go so they always pack your order in a styrofoam box. The horchata was way too sweet for me, it was almost sickeningly so. I was torn between that and the jamaica agua fresca, that one might yield a better result. I was very excited to try this new taco spot because I LOVE birria tacos. We walked in at the right time because they were not busy just after lunch. The shop is tiny but cute and very on trend. We were greeted immediately by the friendly cashier and after a few questions, placed our order. It is counter service and since the shop is pretty small with minimal seating, we decided to take our food to go. We chose the quesabirria tacos (3 tacos per order for $12) and the Taquileros fries. The tacos were loaded with shredded beef, edged with crispy cheese and served with a delicious dipping sauce that birria tacos are known for-yummy, greasy heaven! But if I thought the tacos were good I was in for a surprise because the fries were AMAZING. Crispy and seasoned and loaded with asada, these were the stand out item. They were covered in cheese, crema and the Taquilero sauce which I can't even describe other than it is liquid goodness. The menu isn't huge but they also do offer street style tacos, burritos, tortas and even a keto taco and bowl. I really like this place. I've been going since the first day they open. The costumer service is always great. I love that this place is family owned and family run. The quesabirria tacos are perfect here. They tortitas are dipped in the consume sauce and fried. I love that they are not soggy and they don't fall apart right when you get them. They can seem like the tortilla is stale because it's so crunchy but I don't like soggy food. They may seem expensive but you get great quality and they're not stingy with the meat. The asada fries were basic. There's nothing special. I do like that they ask you what salsa you want or if you want anything excluded. Always great service. We ordered delivery through GrubHub. This was our first time trying the restaurant. We chose two quesadillas: one asada, one shrimp. Both mild, as we are at an age where spicy/hot foods do not agree with us as well as they used to. They were both so GOOD! I got sour cream on the asada quesadilla, and it was just the perfect blend of cheese, sour cream, meat, onions, etc. The shrimp quesadilla was well-seasoned, flavorful, and cooked just right. I go in and I'm NOT greeted I am asked in a bothered tone " Picking up or order ", I said " order" the non friendly cashier tells me "it's a 45 minute wait , do you want to wait ?" I said no and left .... Well my partner knew how much I wanted to try this place and convinces me we order or Uber eats & it was a 15-20 minute wait .... So it only makes it seem like one of the two A.they prioritize their online orders . B.denying customers for no reason. Anyways we go grab a drink at T% and our order is ready by 9:25 PM after being told it would be a 30-45 minute wait , so we grab the food and I check our food in the car and it's the WRONG ORDER 2 items were missing and someone was missing two orders of 4 tacos somewhere , we let them know and wait 5-10 minutes not long and the missing items are ready ... if the owner who has camera can access the surveillance please see how she just threw the bag at my partner , no apologies... no manners ...nothing Here is what truly bothers me the most I know how much goes into owning a business specially investing in Instagram advertising... going through all the permits just for your business to have a cashier representing the business like THIS. The CLOSED sign was flipped at 9:54 PM & chairs were being put UP while people were still sitting down that's just straight up De Mala Educacion.... I am disappointed beyond measure that this was the level of effort put into customer service .
