I regret being swayed by the good reviews. I was in the area and wanted sushi, so I dropped in for a quick bite. I ordered two specials. Instead of proper rolls, I got a mound of rice covered in various sauces with a tiny amount of fish. All of this was generously "enhanced" with crab sticks--both inside and on top. It was terrible. To be fair, they only charged me for one, which I appreciate. Still, that didn't do anything to improve my impression of the visit.

DELICIOUS! This is our families go to for Sushi as well as everything on the menu! The fish and vegetables are fresh and sauces used are impeccable! The vibe is super homey and comfortable with super cute decor. Also, I can NOT forget to mention the amazing service!!! The owners treat you like your family. Your glass will stay filled and food delivered to your table super fast!

Spicy Tuna Roll

Small little spot behind Triangle Town Center. Service was friendly and on time. Got the spicy tuna roll half off, and a bulgogi bento box. Bento box was fantastic as was the sushi roll. The tempura shrimp in the bento was perfection! Will definitely return when in the area again.

We tried this spot for the first time --takeout only during COVID-19. The quality of the fish is definitely much better than most sushi spots and their ginger are freshly hand cut (not bought from pre-packages). The presentation, packaging and staff were all very nice. I would come back here again & recommend this cute little spot to anyone else.

Service was great & sushi was delicious. They had 1/2 off sushi specials even for dinner hours.

Great sushi and service! Can't wait to get back here for my next meal. Great area to walk around as well.

probably worst sushi i've had in raleigh. i got two of the weekly specials, and of of them was deep fried which wasn't listed on the menu. they cut the pieces in half and only 3-4 pieces had any fish in them. everything was very rice heavy and warm. seems like they used lots of eel sauce and spicy mayo to mask the taste of the warm tuna. the other roll with the salmon, tuna, and crab was decent, but just way too much rice. took over 20 min to get food when only 4 other tables were occupied.

Teriyaki chicken and fried rice and a double order of the hurricane roll. So good!

Food is wonderful!!! I'm new to the area and looked for something close by for lunch, the gentleman running the restaurant was working so hard and was nice even when he was explaining there'd be a little wait. Waited until we got back home and WOW! The food is delicious and it's so much food, the hurricane roll is so good and it's beautifully made. And the food was put in the containers with such care! Will be coming again!

Lunch sushi special

I went here before a hair appointment and I was out within less than thirty minutes. The service was impeccable and my waitress was efficient. She went over the specials and gave me time when I wasn't sure what I wanted. My water was always filled. There are a few half price sushi specials, which is nice. I wish some of the Korean dishes had descriptions about what was in them or pictures because I had no idea what they were--I may have tried one of them if there were more with descriptions. I chose the sushi lunch special, which came with two rolls and either miso soup or salad. I chose the miso soup and it was great. I chose the shrimp tempura crunch roll and the sushi roll (chef's choice) for my sushi choices. The sushi roll that was the chef's choice I felt was more appropriate for sashimi, but it was good. A little bland. The shrimp tempura crunch roll, however, was probably the best shrimp tempura roll I've ever had. It wasn't heavy like some other shrimp tempura rolls have been at other restaurants and I would be interested in trying more of the specialty rolls. Four out of five instead of five because of the lack of descriptions on part of the menu. Good price for lunch sushi, though!

Came here with my 5 yr old after karate lesson. The place was very clean and quiet on a wed night. We ordered edamame appetizer then two sushi rolls (shrimp tempura roll with avocado) - my son loved it and had to order two for him. I had seafood pancake - a little on the soft side and not as crunchy. But the flavor was good and portion was just right. We will definitely come again. I know my son will want to have the same sushi roll , I am curious Niut the bibimbap.

1. BBQ Short Ribs Bento Box Lunch Special

Lots of different assortments of asian fare. I got the lunch special bbq short ribs and it came with rice, miso, salad, a spring roll, AND tempura!! I like the short ribs the most out of all the lunch special meats- it's the most tender. Tempura also happened to be relatively crispy in a to go box. Make sure to order ahead as the food takes around half and hour but is prepared fresh. Also the soondubu is very worth as well- you can get a seafood and meat mix for around 10. The owners of the store are super kind and welcoming so definitely stop by if you are in Northeast Raleigh!

I really like their concept Sushi + Korean Fusion. Had some Chirashi and some Korean B.B.Q called Galbi and it was bomb. Their sushi grade is like beyond fresh and the galbi was literally melting in my mouth. It was absolutely better quality than the Wagyu A5 beef! I highly recommend this establishment if you want to have Sushi+Korean food at the same time. Keep up the good work guys! 10/10

I hate to rate this place a 1-star but the service during this visit was disappointing. Some of our friends arrived about 30 minutes before us and ordered something small while they waited. When we got there, there weren't enough seats for all of us, so we asked if we could move to a larger table. The staff told us we couldn't because our friends had already eaten, even though the rest of us were planning to order. On top of that, our water was never refilled, which reinforced the feeling of being an inconvenience rather than a guest at the restaurant. I remember the service being much warmer when I last came here about two years ago. I was excited to see the new market/shop front and updated seating, but unfortunately the service this time made the experience feel pretty unwelcoming.

I came here when I was visiting my in laws, so naturally, I wanted to expose them to KBBQ. Unfortunately, I picked this place because a lot of reviews said its the best and allat, when in truth, this place is one of the worst KBBQ I have ever visited. Not only they stopped serving lettuce wrap (sure, they have it in the menu but they didn't stock it because their lettuce supplier increased the price or whatever), they did not offer any other wrap options like a decent kbbq should have (rice wrap, radish wrap, or shisho leave...etc). The meat quality? It's the cheapest cut you could ever get. The kalbi cut is so thin and tasted old (spoiler alert, they should be thicker and higher quality..), the other unseasoned meat cut is lower quality too. The seasoned meat were so bad I had hard time enjoying it. The bulgogi did not taste like a propee bulgogi and once again, tasted old like it has been in the fridge for too long. The spicy bulgogi was so grainy and not spicy at all, almost like they're using low quality gochugaru. Honestly, you will be much better off buying your own ingredients at h-mart or any asian grocery than going to this place. The only saving grace was the kind server who tends us often. 10/10 will not recommend.

Obviously, this is our first time, but what we got was amazing. We each got one of the lunch specials. She got boneless wings with the seasoned fries, and I got the wings with the radish. She also ordered one of those Korean "corn dogs" with cinnamon sugar on it, and the Kewpie mayo. I wouldn't get the pickled radish again, it's not what I've eaten elsewhere, but who cares when the wings were so awesome.........amazing........I think young people say they are fire......and they were. The fries were crispy, the wings crispy and well-sauced.......................and I cannot wait to go again. To top it off, our server, Madden, was wonderful.
