I thought maybe it had healed wrong. In-house imaging showed that the sprain had dislodged a protruding bone. Dr. Simonson wrote for a stability brace, so I got it, wore it a couple times and now the pain is worse. It's the wrong brace for my injury. I explained to his MA twice, the pain is worse, asked for NON NARCOTIC pain medicine. I shouldn't have to feel guilty asking for a muscle relaxer and some extra strength Naproxen. I'm not a drug addict. And I hate being treated like one. Simonson should follow up with his All patients after their initial visit. To make sure people get better. Not worse.

The actual time spent with the doctor was about 3 minutes, and had a dismissive "couldn't care less" manner. Yesterday I met with Dr. Cody Martin and the staff at Northern Arizona Orthopaedics in the Prescott Valley office. My search is over. Dr. Martin impressed me with his general demeanor. He was warm and friendly. He asked pertinent questions, listened and responded in a manner that illustrated a genuine interest in my well-being. I left there feeling confident that I found a doc who will work with and for me in the future. In fact, the office in general seemed to reinforce that sense of competence and courtesy that makes a patient feel safe and valued. Thank you, Dr. Martin and everyone at NAO.

My husband went right when they opened and there was 3 people ahead of him. 2 hours in and he was there!!! In the 3rd hour they had finally taken a culture however not submitted and basically no answer as to why he felt so terrible. Why would you take a culture and leave the sample with the patient and not send it for testing or test it there?? Waste of time and they are SO slow!! Literally as if they don't care about their patients. Urgent care should be faster than that especially if only a few people are ahead of him. Waste of time and co pay! We will be going to another urgent care in the city with much better service. I highly recommend going somewhere else! Even the ER because over here is just a waste of time. Read all the other reviews because it is really that true. Never again. Also, NP said the culture results should be out by end of day because after 3hrs he said he had to leave and still no call. We called them and they said it would take a couple of days for the test results. This place needs to get their facts straight.

After surgery I was referred to CPE for my physical therapy. Due to an uncompassionate workers compensation adjuster, I was forced to return to work early, giving me only one day a week for therapy. The staff at CPE showed true compassion over my situation and helped me with multiple exercises I could do at home. The CPE team are true professionals, caring, knowledgeable, compassionate, and an absolute pleasure to work with. Dr. Widener, the nurses, and the entire staff were exceptionally kind, attentive, and thorough. They identified an important complicating factor in my treatment just through thoughtful screening questions and actually reviewing them. The kind of attention to detail that's becoming rare, and it genuinely changed the course of my care for the better. What impressed me even more was that they provided this level of careful, patient-centered treatment while simultaneously managing another patient who appeared to have a very serious, time-critical emergency. Their ability to stay focused, calm, and compassionate with everyone involved speaks volumes about the quality of this team. I'm incredibly grateful for the care I received and the professionalism I witnessed. We are lucky to have this ER in our community.
