We love Carol! She has been grooming our dogs for a couple of years now and always does an amazing job. She really is a dog person and takes such special care of her client's dogs. We have a dog with extreme anxiety and Carol has been nothing but fantastic and patient with her, always calm and collected with her and even allowing her to socialize with her highly trained dogs to make her more comfortable during grooming. She isn't like a typical grooming business operations (big store/business with several groomers and constant openings), but that's what we love about her. Carol has been grooming my 2 miniature schnauzers for more years than I can remember! Maybe 7 or 8?? She is THE BEST groomer around! Unlike most groomers that will stick your dog in a crate, she treats them as her own and takes them on a nice walk around her fully fenced large property (Let's them do their business). Then they are ready to be pampered (even gives them a massage while bathing them)! Last year when we brought home our new Kerry Blue Terrier pup (look them up, they have a very specific look and are not only difficult to groom, but are not known around here), she took the time to research and even purchase (on her own dime) videos to properly groom her!! Wow!! Who does that??? We could not be happier to have her grooming all 3 dogs now. You will never find a groomer that takes that much interest and care with the dogs she grooms. Simply the Best! Bella, my Maltese/Lhasa, and I have been going to Carol for about 7 years now. I would never take my dog anywhere else. The dogs Carol grooms are all special to her. She knows dogs so well that if Bella has some physical issue, I can count on Carol to tell me what's wrong. She texts to remind me of an appointment and will work with me if I need to change the date. On top of that, she is very reasonable. Both Bella and I look forward to her grooming days and seeing Carol. She meets me at a gas station and transfers Bella into her large pickup with a dog carrier in back. Many times one of Bella's buddies that belong to Carol are along for the ride which makes Bella happy. When they get to her acreage, Bella is able to run in the back area with Carol's dogs before grooming. What dog wouldn't love that. Carol is the most amazing groomer I've ever had. She has a beautiful standalone shop on-site at her home (a ranch). She takes extra time to let the dogs around her expansive property before beginning each grooming session, so that they can run off nervous energy and get comfortable with her. This was HUGE when I rescued a very skiddish dog who needed TLC and not a muzzle. There are no kennels at her shop; each client's dogs are groomed by individual appointment, with utmost care. I couldn't possibly be more grateful for Carol, my sweet Senior kitty had a rough 18 months away from us , family circumstances required me to leave him with a friend that I would have trusted with my own life . Unfortunately she neglected my boy and he was severely and I mean SEVERELY matted , beyond anything i had ever personally dealt with and my heart was completely broken . I can't not express how amazing our experience with Carol was. We recently adopted a miniature schnauzer from Tijuana. She was a puppy mill dog who has spent all of her life in a cage until 2 months ago. Carol took the time to walk her with her dogs and get her comfortable before her hair cut. She let me know that the cut could take awhile- if my dog got stressed she would take her down and let her relax and then continue. It was the best experience I've ever had with a groomer and I have two very spoiled English bulldogs so I am not a stranger to high end care for my pets - hands down carol is the best!!! I was in awe at her shop, passion for dogs and Talent for grooming. My dog was scared and somehow her haircut came out magazine ready. when I picked up our sweet puppy she looked like a brand new dog, it brought tears to my eyes with the care and love she put into my dogs hair cut, she understood that for this dog it was so much more, a mile stone for our baby and her new life. The only reason why I considered bringing my Pit Bull to get groomed, was because she has such high reviews. I hope my review helps someone who is a first timer and also considering. Thursday of last week I called and the owner, also from what I gathered is the only employee, answered and I specifically asked for Monday at 8am. She said that was fine and that she would call and talk to me about my dog's services a day or two before his appt. She texted me on Saturday, I go to school and work full time, so somethings just a text won't suffice. But I didn't see the message till Sunday morning. I texted back and she asked if I wanted to move my appt. to that day, which was Sunday. I was unavailable so I asked her to just keep my appointment for Monday. Today I texted Carole to again confirm the appt. an hour early and she said that she filled my dogs appt. Then there was no reply. I personally feel it's because my dog is a Pit Bull. The review photos seemed to show her only servicing small dog breeds. But, overall I think I deserved better communication than that. read more
