You can tell everyone works as a team because multiple employees helped deliver our food and picked up our empty plates instead of leaving everything to one server. Unfortunately, our first interaction with the hostess left us feeling uncomfortable. We arrived before the dining room opened at 11:00, and she invited us to sit and wait, which was perfectly fine. However, as other guests began arriving, I noticed she was asking everyone else for their names while adding them to the waitlist. She never asked for mine. Instead, after three parties were seated before us, I politely asked why we had been skipped. Her response was that she had "grabbed my description" instead of my name. That honestly didn't sit well with me. Being identified by my appearance instead of simply being asked for my name felt unnecessary and uncomfortable, especially when everyone else was asked for theirs. We were also initially placed at a table tucked into a corner by the entrance, where there was a lot of traffic coming in and out. After I spoke up, another hostess immediately apologized and happily moved us to a much more comfortable booth, which I appreciated.
