    Kafta kabob plate
    Meily A.

Solid choice when you are craving Mediterranean. We got takeout and I enjoyed my meal. I got the Kafta Kabob plate and portions were great. The meat was flavorful. Hummus was creamy and tasty. Salad was fresh. Service was prompt. I would come back again.

An average rating of 4.8 is a bold statement from the Yelp community. Zuki's has been on my radar because of that. For me, a 4.8 would translate to a damn near perfect platter. I ordered the beef kebobs. I thought it was OK, overall. The kebobs were tasty, the rice was average, the pita was a little soggy, the hummus was fair, and the garlic was sauce was a pass for me. I'm glad I tried it, perhaps I ordered wrong or am missing something.

It was okay, I maybe should've tried the chicken instead because the beef kabob didn't have much flavor. Sadly they didn't have lamb which is usually my go to. Overall not bad but I do wish it meat was a bit more tender and had more flavor.

Unreal, it's so good. GYROS Sandwich

I went here for lunch today after seeing the reviews. I had the gyro plate and small hummus. The gyro meat was amazing, super moist and well seasoned. I like that it's not shaved super thin (personal preference). The rice wasn't anything special but it was good nonetheless. The hummus was also so, so good. The flavor was spot on and the drizzle of olive oil on the top. I'd say the only downside would be the area of town is slightly sketchy. Otherwise the food is terrific and the prices are reasonable. I'll definitely add this to my work lunch rotation.

Gyro combo plate, I added feta cheese.

Work on your order takers, not friendly at all. Food seemed to take a little longer than other places but the food was hot and fresh. Worth the wait. Clean restaurant, easy to place order and sufficient parking.

Zuki's in Central Phoenix will take you on a wild flavor journey with their Mediterranean cuisine! The food is consistently delicious, and the prices are modest. It's a great place to dine in or take out to enjoy with the family. This family-owned restaurant is always a joy to visit, with the owners being incredibly kind and full of joy. Zuki's has become one of our favorite spots, and we order from here a ton. Check this spot out!!!

Zukis A five strar rating is tough to get and maintain. One rating of two or maybe a couple of fours makes the number of stars fall below five. Zukis rating is five stars. How does this happen? You cannot eat clean, but you can see it. There are no spots on this floor. The tables devoid of any film shine. No water spots. The menu is simple. Some of the food on it is not so simple to make. Leave it to Zukis to take care of that. You will be glad. The food is flavorful, without being overpowering. The Gyro's flavoring is best described as highly aromatic. It is light (for a Gyro). The French fries were rather plain, bland. The fries should be that way. They are a side dish for the main course. Zukis deserves it's five rating. It's Gyro is outstanding. It follows the rules of fine dining (yes this little shop, in a sketchy neighborhood). Zuki's deserves five stars.

We had the Chicago gyros, chicken schwarma, beef kofta, lemon rice soup, tabbouleh salad and fries. All were great, but the fries were outstanding! I've eaten a lot of fried potatoes in my life, and really none better. They rounded out the meal-hot, fresh, crunchy and soft. Perfect! If I had to have a "complaint," the lemon garlic aioli on the schwarma was a bit too much, get that "on the side" so you can manage that. Otherwise a great meal. OPA!

Everything was very good, and the sauce on the pizza was especially excellent. Service was good -- not great, but good. The DJ actually added some nice ambience to the place and gave the restaurant a good vibe. Now here's my problem. This is a BIG restaurant. I'm not talking about some tiny little neighborhood place where they have to squeeze every table into every corner. Yet somehow, they sat the four of us right next to the server computer station, where the staff is constantly coming and going, punching in checks, picking things up, walking back and forth -- the whole time you're trying to eat dinner. And to make it worse, that table is close to the front door. This is Arizona. Every time that door opens, you get a blast of heat. I can only imagine in colder weather you'd get the opposite problem. I've been around restaurants a long time, and some tables just shouldn't be tables. That's one of them. I understand nobody wants to give up a four-top, but in a restaurant that size, come on. Move the table or get rid of it. The guest experience should be worth more than squeezing in four extra seats. The food absolutely deserves a return visit. Just do yourself a favor if they try to seat you by that computer station near the front door, ask for another table.

Every detail you notice is extravagant and purposeful. Visiting on a Saturday for lunch, there were plenty of other families eating together too. I noticed the crowd was mostly older, which lets you know this restaurant is a true staple in the community (I find that usually the old people know what's up). As all 4 of us weren't super hungry, we split the Persian Room Special- Combination of barg (Filet mignon), chicken filet and Koobideh kebab, served with basmati rice and grilled tomato. It was a huge portion of food, served on a large silver platter. The menu states that it serves 2, but it perfectly filled us 4 adults! Granted, we weren't super hungry to begin with, but 2 is definitely an underestimate. I'd say it can easily satisfy 3 hungry adults. Anyway, quantity aside, THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! Everything was so flavorful and paired well together. The meat was also juicy. My favorite was the koobideh kebab for sure. There isn't much more I can say, as the food speaks for itself. I'd been here several times years ago, and after coming back, I'm honestly wondering why I don't eat here more often. I ordered the chicken shawarma, a stuffed grape leaves platter, and hot tea. Everything was exactly what I hoped it would be. The chicken was well-seasoned, tender, and wrapped with the classic toppings, and the portion was fair for the price. Speaking of price, the value here is honestly hard to beat. The stuffed grape leaves platter came with hummus, tabbouleh, pita, and hot stuffed grape leaves. I had completely forgotten they serve them warm, and my brain needed a minute to recalibrate because I'm so used to cold dolmas everywhere else. Once I took a bite, though... yep. That's how they're supposed to taste. Soft, flavorful, perfectly seasoned, and absolutely delicious. I ended up adding some of the hummus and tabbouleh to my shawarma, which made an already great sandwich even better. The service was just as impressive as the food. My server was genuinely kind, gave me a few extra minutes when I couldn't decide, checked in without hovering, and even offered to package my hot tea to go when he noticed I was still working on it. (For the record, ordering an entire pot of tea for one person was an ambitious life choice on my part.) The dining room isn't huge, and there's also a small market attached, which adds to the charm.
