Austin met me at the property with carpet samples, which made the process so much easier. They also have a virtual app online that allowed me to see how the room would look with different carpet colors, which was such a helpful tool when making a decision. I was able to go into the showroom, discuss the color options, choose the carpet, and set the installation time for Tuesday evening at 4:00 PM. The installer arrived right on time at 9:00 AM Wednesday morning and was finished by 2:00 PM that same day. I was especially impressed with Lupe, the installer. He did a wonderful job, vacuumed the room, and completely cleaned up after himself. The whole experience was fast, professional, and easy from start to finish. I love supporting local Huntington Beach businesses, and Michael's Carpet truly delivered. Highly recommend!

Fast forward a couple years and our home flooded from a burst hose. This time I didn't even bother getting other quotes because I completely trusted them because they have been in Huntington Beach forever. We replaced the downstairs carpeting in the living room and dining room with waterproof vinyl that looks like wood and it is gorgeous. We also re-carpeted the upstairs bedrooms, stairs and hallway. There were two separate crews for each, and both of them did an excellent job. The stairs were done with a rounded edge that made our stairs look so much nicer. We chattered about how many we needed and how nice they were. We went to our first store and then returned to buy the rugs, as I pulled the money from my wallet the owner came out of her shop waving shaving shears and scolding us for having a parked car near her business. I asked her if she wanted my money waving it already in my hand and she exclaimed "for what?". I said "Rugs"? And then she continued to tell me that I couldn't park there it was "for costumers only". As much as I thought the rugs were pretty and soft, being admonished and confronted by an angry woman with something sharp in her hands is not okay, I carefully apologized for whatever it was, got back in my car, and drove away.
