We picked out a bunch of our own tiles and materials from Amazon and other online stores, and Shamas had no problem incorporating them into the project. He also pointed us toward more budget-friendly options when it made sense, and threw in some design suggestions that ended up being some of our favorite parts of the finished space. The end result speaks for itself -- every room was brought back to life, and honestly looks better than before. The craftsmanship and attention to detail were top notch; you'd never guess the place had been through that kind of damage. On top of the great work, Shamas and his team were just really easy to deal with -- quick to answer the phone, always punctual, and kept us updated the whole way through. He was also flexible in additional requests we had along the way (like asking for a final glossy coat to finish the wood floors). I was originally going to replace carpet with LVP but found wood floors under the carpet! We chose to have the wood floors refinished and stained and they turned out fantastic! It looks like a completely new space. The job was scheduled within a few days and was completed on schedule. New tack strips were added, and the carpet stretched so perfectly that no shoe moulding will be needed to hide gaps.
