When I went to pick up the truck because it took so long they gave me an estimate of $800 to fix the windshield wipers motor and linkage. To fix the motor they estimated 500 plus and that was after they took off the $186 they charge me to diagnose the issue. I took it in to get the windshield wipers fixed. When I went to pick it up they charged me $186 to diagnose not only the windshield wiper issue but they chose on their own to also check my brakes and something else. I did not give them permission or request to have them do this. I would not have objected to maybe $100 even though my friend diagnosed it was the windshield wiper motor simply by turning on the ignition and he heard no clicking or something like that which meant there was no power going to the box. They said they checked the wiring and the fuse even taking that into consideration I don't see where it would cost $186 for that amount of time. My main complaint is they went beyond what I asked them to do they did not quote how much it would cost to diagnose this and I've heard this from other people that they go in to have something done and they charge for diagnosing things that weren't asked for. So basically I would just warn people if you're going to take your car or truck in you should ask them what it would cost to diagnose it. In addition I had had my brakes just fixed the month before so there was no reason to diagnose it. It cost me $800 to have my brakes done they quoted me 1800. This was just for the rear brakes.

The door wasn't closing against the frame right, not sealing, bent..or something. It was driving me batty! I've had my truck since it was brand new and was devastated with this issue, thinking it was ruined forever (seriously!) and/or would cost an arm and a leg to fix...or replace the door, mechanisms, etc. I stopped by Camano Body Shop while running some errands and spoke with Glenn. He took great time and care to listen to my issue and examined the door, hinge, etc., telling me what he was seeing the whole time (in layman's terms I understood!). He snapped some detailed photographs, took my information down, and had the repair quote(s) to me within hours! I made the appointment soonafter. She was going 50mph and did $25,000 in damages to my truck and it took over 4 months to repair. Parts is what took so long since the trucks has the new body style. Repairs were done so well you wouldn't ever known it was rear ended. Three months after I got it back a lady ran a red light smashing the whole front end. That repair was a little under $13,000 to repair. Thankfully it only took three weeks to repair. Repairs were done so well you can't ever tell the front was completely smashed. Our mechanic always has us go get the parts when he works on our two older cars. We always go to Auto Plus because we know we are going to get the correct parts for our car. The last 4 times I went there I waited in the lobby for so many hours. If I had known it would be that long I would have went home. The last time was 5 and a half hours in the lobby! I tried to go home at hour 3 and was asked to stay (telling me it would be soon.) The prices have really gone up. He wouldn't charge me to look at it so I thought I was getting a good deal but with the high pricing it made up for it. Several hundred dollars cheaper at other places when I called around. I got an oil change here and I made an appointment for it. I waited 3 and a half hours in the lobby and it cost a little over 100$. I mentioned I was feeling the transmission slipping and was told they would take a look at it. At checkout they said nothing, I asked them about it and another 20 minutes later they came back and said it was fine maybe I could get a tune up soon. I brought it in again a few weeks later still with the transmission slipping. They said they found a sensor out and a few other things. I paid a little over 1000$ two separate times within 3 months. Each time I asked is it worth it, to fix it? What about the transmission? I got round about answers and was told fixing it was a good option. Now after putting almost 4000$ into it within a year my transmission needs to be replaced and I can't afford to fix it or get another vehicle! I don't have words for how I feel about that. I really trusted Adrian and so I trusted his crew and I feel like they really let me down and put me in a bad spot. I'm a single mom and I needed the honesty and care I had gotten from Adrian at the beginning but I guess things change.
