I took it back to Acme for them to dink around for 3 months and not find the issue. I then paid for towing myself to Kalispell Toyota (on Acme's recommendation) for them to tell me that the timing belt was not aligned, all of the wiring was incorrectly installed, a few wires were severed, and multiple bolts were completely missing. I was hit with a $1,400 bill for Kalispell Toyota (for fixing all the above issues). Acme gave me a check for $550 after I already paid them $1,800 to install initially and they took no Ownership other than to say that they may have messed up the wiring. TLDR: Acme incorrectly installed a timing belt, I didn't have a car for 3 months and had to end up paying bills to a towing company, Acme, and Kalispell Toyota (Kalispell Toyota fixed the issue) for something Acme initially incorrectly installed.

He had to put a Killswitch in because he couldn't figure out what the problem with his own vehicle was. Do not go here. ACME is a correct name as the shop is a joke.

With a little bit of a wait, they were able to inspect it and inform us that there was a bit of wear to the tie rod end but nothing that could not wait until we were back home. They suggested we let some air out of the front tires, which they did and sent us on our way with a thank you for coming in and a smile with a handshake. Then the vehicle would not stay started for more than 3 minutes at a time. I went in numerous times to have them reset it to 15 minute intervals as 3 minutes doesn't help much in our winters. After a few months of having it put in the horn started malfunctioning. My horn will randomly start going off while I am driving. As per many sources this is​ because of the remote start not being compatible with the vehicle. I have been in to Don K many times for them to fix the timing issues with no solution. They refuse to acknowledge the horn issue and I am now paying for another shop to remove the remote start that Don K installed and install a different one. ​

Usually less than 10 minutes. $65 for my Lincoln MKX. In & Out @ Reggie's. They also do transmission flushes which I had them do today. These guys are epic. I get more value than I expect for the money.

This place is so good it made me forget I'm a grown adult with bills, bad knees, and a questionable credit score. Mrs. Davis deserves her own talk show, she's that kind, that helpful, and somehow makes you feel like you're the most important person on the lake. And Jesse at the dock? The man parks boats smoother than I park a shopping cart. Honestly, if my life ever depends on precision, I'm calling Jesse before I call 911. The boats? Gorgeous. Like, "don't take me home, I live here now" gorgeous. The lake? Basically a giant mood booster served cold with a side of sunshine. And the views? Unreal. If your jaw doesn't drop, you should probably check your pulse. Navigation and info are laid out so clearly, even I couldn't screw it up, and trust me, if there's a wrong turn to make, I'll make it. Not here though. Here, it's smooth sailing (literally). I'll absolutely be back. Probably too often. Probably with way too much sunscreen. And definitely with that same goofy grin that says, "I just found my happy place."

Unfortunately, it was more than they could work on. Didn't have parts or the tools. After calling at least 5 or 6 other mechanics from Livingston to Bozeman, from dealerships to private mechanics, we finally found Chris at Northwest. We had verbal quotes all over the place and scheduling was July, September and maybe we can fit you in. My husband had called our mechanic in Florida so we knew what it should cost. We needed a new cam and follower. Apparently, this is s common problem on Jeeps with 100,000 miles. We dropped the Jeep off on a Friday with an appointment on the following Friday. We also had a written quote, (not verbal). It was risky to keep driving it so we thought it was better just to leave it at Northwest. Chris said if there was a cancellation then he would work on the Jeep. On Tuesday morning by husband received an email invoice. The Jeep was repaired, ready for pick up and within to quote. We are so thankful that there are still honest, reasonable and reliable mechanics out there. There's so much more to this nightmare, but thanks to Northwest the Jeep is back to exploring.

I mentioned that I had a lot of items at home that I would need to tow. I drove a few different vehicles and settled on the 2023 Chevrolet Equinox premiere. I had a firm price range that I had to be in. I needed to be out the door for less than $30,000. I was very clear that I did not want a Subaru and I did not want to finance anything. When we went inside, they started talking about the warrantee. That was pushing me way out of my pricing that I could afford. I was very clear that I could not pay over $30,000. Then Blake, the sales manager, came up and asked if I could take a 3-year bumper to bumper warrantee instead of a 5-year bumper to bumper. He mentioned that it could save me some money. I asked if that could get me in the price range that I needed to be in. Then Blake came up with a paper that showed the Balance due of $29,413.33. I was thinking that it was out the door. I said thank you so much for getting me out the door for under $30,000. He said that he needed to get a deposit and then we will be done. I said that I would need to go to my house to get some cash. Then they gave me to the finance guy. The finance guy said that he wanted me to sign the contract before I left just in case, they got busy. Like an idiot I signed the paper and then headed out to my house to get another check and some cash. the amount that they said I would need to come back with just didn't make sense. So, I looked over the paper, and I noticed that they charged me more than I thought it was going to be. So, I got to the house, and I called them and I said Hey this vehicle was much more than I thought it was going to be. they said That I signed a contract and I was obligated to get the vehicle. I said I don't want it for that price. I had not taken possession of the vehicle yet at this point, but they said that I have to take it because I signed for it. I mentioned that I wanted to unwind the deal. I was extremely irritated, but I just didn't know what to do. According to them I had to pay the balance and take possession of the vehicle because I signed a contract. It was extremely irritating. I was very surprised that they would not work with me. They were closed on Sunday, so I called them 1sst thing Monday morning. I mentioned the price was an issue and by that time I noticed that the vehicle only towed 1500 lb. U needed a vehicle that would tow more than that. As I mentioned on Saturday, I have a lot of items that need tow. They mentioned that I signed the contract. Then I said I thought you had a 72 hour worry free guarantee. At that point Blake said that f I come back down before they close at 6pm he will swap this vehicle out for another one. So, I head down to Don K Chevrolet on Monday 4/6/26 before they close. Blake was not there I spoke with Travis Squires. At 1st he said they only have Subarus. IU mentioned that I cannot accept Subaru. I do not like the brand. He said that was all they had to show. So luckily, I had a couple of vehicles to ask about. I mentioned the Ford Edge Serl that they had on the lot. He took me out to look at that. He showed me the outside of the vehicle, and he said that it was not detailed yet and he did not have the key He said that he would extend my coming back so that I could test drive that one the next day. Then on Tuesday I contacted the dealership and they did not have that vehicle detailed yet either. I contacted them on Wednesday then again on Thursday and now again today on Friday 4/10/26. I'm not sure what is happening now. They have not contacted me back. I just really wanted to unwind the deal. Swapping vehicles out was a last resort and now they are not even willing to do that. At least they are not returning calls or messages. I feel extremely upset that they would treat me this way. I cannot recommend them because if feels like they did not do a very good deal for me. What's the change of a Chevy, Jeep GMC dealership only having a Subaru the only vehicle that I specified that I did not want. There was no reason that they needed to do business in this manner.
