Connor was awesome and he took great care of us and provided the best service. I ordered the Fettuccine Weesie, which I've had before and absolutely love. The mushrooms, scallions, and sautéed shrimp tossed in a white wine lemon butter sauce are such a delicious combination. My friend enjoyed his Chicken Bryan, which was topped with goat cheese and sun-dried tomatoes, basil, and a very good lemon butter sauce. We also took advantage of the $10 Take Home offer. When you buy a dine-in entrée (with a few exceptions), you can take home a second entrée of equal or lesser value for just $10. We both ordered lasagna and had it for dinner the following night. Carrabba's is part of the Bloomin' Brands family, not authentic Italian, but it's still good. If you haven't already, sign up for their loyalty program which is called Dine Rewards. Honestly, the food here is AMAZING. This is my family's go to restaurant. Our server was so sweet and super attentive to our orders and the details. Overall, the service is slow so I wouldn't come if you are starving but the experience is great. They always bring out fresh bread with olive oil and seasonings. The appetizers were also delicious. They had a seasonal burrata which was INCREDIBLE. I love that the entrees come with a soup / salad as well. I ordered the chicken trio with zucchini. SO FLAVORFUL and the chicken was cooked to perfection and super tender / juicy. My favorite was the chicken marsala but the goat cheese on the chicken Bryan was superb. I've also tried their salmon which I would highly recommend as well as their grilled chicken. However they season it, it is so flavorful !!! All the sides are great but my favorite is the broccoli. I'm going to start out with a disclaimer... this is a review I wish I didn't have to write. So on with the show.... Ah, Carrabba's on Linton. A place that once held a spot in my regular rotation, back when it had energy, a somewhat lively crowd, friendly bartenders, and a sense of excitement. But times have changed, and my visit tonight reminded me exactly why this place has fallen off my list. I walked in around 7:45 PM and grabbed a seat at the bar, where the "regulars" were already putting on quite the show. To my left, a very New Yorker-esque woman was chugging wine and ranting about the proper way to reheat pizza (apparently, she's the self-proclaimed authority on the subject). She also managed to squeeze in a complaint about the price of a side of spinach because, and I quote, "I could buy a whole bag of this at Publix for that price." Hopefully, she lived nearby or was Ubering because she had clearly enjoyed a few 9oz pours of the happy hour wine special. While those at the bar were getting a lesson on pizza reheating, the couple across from me were whining about the $11 wine, comparing their "small pour" to the more generous ones doled out during happy hour, while one of the local stoners was slurping up a HUGE bowl of chicken soup with a glass of water. Meanwhile, as I debated whether to order the new seasonal lamb chops, I noticed something peculiar. The signature Carrabba's warm bread and olive oil, that comforting staple of every visit, never made its way to me. I watched as it was handed out to others, but my spot at the bar remained breadless. No problem, I could do without the carbs. But then small plates of Italian meats and cheeses were also delivered to select bar patrons, yet I was skipped over again. Was it because I snuck in the side door? Did the bartender peg me as a potential dine-and-dasher? Or was I just invisible tonight? I shrugged it off and ordered the Meatballs & Ricotta. The flavor was solid, but the center of the meatballs? Cold. The Italian salad was its usual reliable self--no complaints there. Then came the main event: Lamb chops with a side of broccoli and penne marinara. The lamb chops? Delicious. Well-seasoned, cooked to the right temperature, and honestly, the best part of the meal. The broccoli? A bit mushy, but edible. The pasta? A complete and utter tragedy. If it had been boiled for even a minute longer, it would have officially turned into paste. I expect this at a school cafeteria, not at an Italian restaurant. When the bartender asked how everything was, I was honest. "The chops are great, but this pasta is way overcooked." She offered to bring me more, but at that point, I declined. Just train the kitchen staff on how to properly cook pasta. She asked if I wanted dessert. I asked for the check. And that's when it hit me--this place feels like a funeral. A restaurant in mourning for the vibrant, packed-to-the-brim, lively Carrabba's it used to be. I even texted a friend, "Sitting at a funeral... I mean, Carrabba's bar." It's sad, really. This location used to be great. But now? It's a shell of its former self, filled with locals clinging to happy hour and complaining about portions, while the food and service limp along behind them. RIP, Carrabba's Delray Beach. You had a good run. 2 stars--really one and a half, but an extra half a star given solely for the lamb chops. read more

Timing! Improve on timing and customer service. Ordered curbside, saw the order be put on the counter and the gentleman disappeared. I waited about 10 mins but no one came out. So i had to walk to the inside of restaurant. Will wait for store to contact me with a follow up. Another issue is the tip being charged before the service is completed. Portions were generous and everything tasted fresh and well prepared. We ordered salads and chicken marsala with steamed broccoli and seafood with linguini. They were really sweet and sang to my husband a happy birthday. On Monday, 12/8, our holiday party at the Civic Center in Delray was catered by Carrabba's Italian Grill. In every way, it was outstanding! The delivery was perfect and the driver was so accommodating! He helped set everything up for us. This was no easy task as we expected 130 people. The presentation was beautiful and the food was delicious. Everyone was raving about the food. One guest said to me that she never expected to get as good a meal as it was considering the reasonable price point. Carrabba's made it so easy for us from ordering to setting up. Last night, Carrabba's is catered my husband's 60th birthday party and did an amazing job. Thank you Tom for getting the food delivered on time perfectly and making sure everything was easy and ready to go. Working with Carrabba's all year as a partner at my high school I have found Tom and his staff to be absolutely amazing and always take care of us so well that I decided to use them at my home. Best decision I ever made, it made my life so much easier and not having to cook food and be able to relax and enjoy dinner with our family and friends. More like 3 1/2 stars, but the value of our lunch bumped it up a half star. We are slowly using some of our Christmas gift certificates.... After looking for a Carrabbas that was (still) open, was open for lunch, and was near/enroute to our errands, I located this restaurant in my trusty Yelp app. They were not busy when we stopped by. We chose to sit at the bar and it turned out to be a very good choice -- with friendly and fast service. And a surprisingly good lunch. We both selected the "trio" from the lunch specials. You will not leave hungry -- even for their ridiculously low price. First, we started with complimentary warm sliced Italian bread served with an herb laced olive oil dip on the side. Each "trio" comes with your choice of soup (either spicy chicken; lentil and pasta; or minestrone) and a choice of salad (house or Caesar). He had the spicy chicken soup and loved it. I had their minestrone which was good. Both soups came in a small bowl (not just a cup) and were packed with all sorts of veggies (and his with chicken). The bowl was much larger than expected. For salads, he chose their Caesar and I had the house one. Again, a larger plate than expected; everything very fresh and crisp. My salad had carrots, cherry tomatoes, black olives, and a mix of two types of lettuce. I asked for no onions and their Italian dressing to be served on the side. The third part of the trio came last. It was a lunch sized portion. I had their shrimp scampi. There were 5 nice sized shrimp in a lemony garlic sauce with toasted bread served on the side. My husband had some of my leftover scampi sauce (he dipped the bread into it) because he liked it so much. For his "main" part of the trio, he had their meatballs with ricotta. The meatballs were served hot and perfectly cooked -- all the way through -- and the ricotta was a nice creamy addition. We couldn't eat everything. I decided to take my minestrone soup home and eat some of my salad and the shrimp. He chose to eat his spicy chicken soup and salad -- and take his meatball dish home. These lunch specials (there are other choices plus some sandwiches) are only available Monday to Friday until 3 pm. How they can do the "trio" for under $10 is amazing to me. But honestly, I thought it was wonderful -- and I'm sure I'll be back to try one of their other combos (stuffed mushrooms anyone? ). read more

Great lunch discovery today with the lunch features offered at Carrabba's. From the lunch specials I chose the Lunch Trio. My winning trifecta was a Caesar's Salad, Sicilian Chicken Soup, and Meatballs with Ricota. The Sicilian Chicken Soup was a large bowl of mini pasta, loads of tender chicken pieces, and lots of vegetables. It was served hot and was very satisfying. I next dug into my Caesar salad and took a bite of the delicious meatballs. I knew I was getting full and wouldn't be able to finish all three dishes, so I finished the salad and held back on the wonderful meatballs which I would enjoy later at home. My wife had enjoyed her shrimp scampi and had some sauce left over. As full as I was, I couldn't let that delicious sauce go unappreciated so I finished it with several slices of bread. Stopped by to pick up a To Go order and was surprised there was no labeled To Go spots and no one comes out to take your order to your car. I came in and spoke to the host who sent me to the little Take Out room where hosts were on a break and weren't even able to help with the order so they send a server to help me. The whole "who's on first" was disappointing. I also clicked Yes, to utensils on the website, I told the server I needed utensils and my to go bag still didn't have utensils! That being said, the two salads we got were great. I added scallops which were amazing and my son added grilled chicken which was very tasty. I've been an enthusiastic customer of Carabba's both at home and while traveling for a decade. I've never seen a location so poorly managed. Our server was friendly, quick, and attentive, but the kitchen completely let her down. They sent out our entrees before we got our soup and salad and the main courses were uneven, at best. One member of our party got the lobster ravioli and loved it. His wife got the Maria Rosa's chicken, which was superb, but her steamed broccoli was mush. My meal was an almost-complete disaster. I ordered the Johnny's Trio and asked to substitute the Maria Rosa's chicken for the Chicken Bryan (which I was told wasn't a problem) and a side of grilled asparagus. I specifically ordered my steak "on the bloody side of medium-rare" hoping to get it at least medium-rare. It came medium to medium well. And they substituted the side of asparagus for the mezzaluna. I returned the order and this time got the Maria Rosa's chicken, which was delicious and perfectly prepared, but the second steak they gave me, while prepared as I requested, was inedible. It was the toughest beef I've ever had. I never did get the mezzaluna. So, instead of Johnny's Trio, I had one piece of Maria Rosa's chicken and some grilled asparagus. Adding insult to injury, the manager never came over to apologize. Nor was I offered an adjustment or free dessert or anything. While it was a Saturday night, the restaurant was only 3/4 filled and the kitchen wasn't slammed. But it was chaotic and disorganized to say the least. Ultimately, this all falls on the manager's shoulders. Avoid this Carabba's. read more

Out of chain food restaurants, especially those specializing in Italian, I've always liked Carrabba's Italian Grill and this one is no exception. It's speciously roomie and during this horrid pandemic adheres to safe practices. For my meal, I started off with a good yet reasonable in price Chianti along with a Caesar with black anchovies as they have no white. Then for my entrée, their "Shrimp & Scallop Linguine Alla Vodka" which came with a good amount of sautéed shrimp and scallops in a creamy tomato/basil vodka sauce. i was dying for their mussels. they don't have them on menu anymore. sooooo disappointed. the $8 appetizers on happy hour was a good price. the bread with shrimp on it was not that great...the burger sliders were very small but good, the buratta cheese and tomatoes on crunchy bread was good. very disappointed to see a dog in the restaurant. very turned off. it was not a service dog .. it was a fluffy dog with a little harness on to make the owners think it was a service dog. since when do you bring a dog into a restaurant? and the worse thing ...it was allowed. will never revisit any restaurant that allows animals while i am eating. only outdoors. terrible!!!!!!!!!! read more

Ordered curbside tonight. After waiting a while I found out that they don't do curbside anymore. I had to go in to pick up order. I wish that I knew this before waiting. This is the the clumpy, dry mess they sent me, and I've never had a carbonara with tomatoes. This is what I got and this was the 2nd meal they sent because they sent me the totally wrong order the first time, they sent me a dish with mushrooms, mushrooms!!! I'm allergic to mushrooms. I arrived after work and was able to seat myself in a booth for 2 in the bar area. There was plenty of parking in the lot. My server took my drink order as I studied the menu. Happy hour was over by 6:30 pm. I had not been to Carrabba's in several years and remembered how good the Chicken Bryan was so I was pretty sure that would be my choice tonight. The extended menu had daily specials as well as an option to buy an entree and take one home for $10 equal or lesser value which I planned to do. My drink was served with their amazing bread and my server mixed up the olive oil and spices. I forgot how good this was. I ordered the Chicken Bryan with a Caesar salad and steamed broccoli all included with the meal for $19.29. The salad arrived with a side of anchovies. It was served cold in a large plate and tasted good. My server checked back several times. My meal was delivered and came out room temperature. This was disappointing. It also seemed like the large slice of goat cheese on top was not melted and I am sure the portion size of this dish was greatly reduced from what I remember. Even the broccoli portion was scarce. I was hungry and didn't want to wait to have the dish reheated. The chicken was very tender and the sauce and spices were tasty. I ordered the 9 oz sirloin to go with more broccoli and the Sicilian chicken soup. $19.29 but I paid $10. I finished my meal, paid and waited a good while for my take out order. My server packed it and off I went. When I unpacked at home, my take out meal does not look very impressive. The 9 oz sirloin shrunk a bit with a few pieces of broccoli but I'm looking forward to a tender steak tomorrow eve. I do believe you get what you paid for and in this case it is true. I'm not sure I will go back to this location but if I do, I will def try another dish or have them brown that Chicken Bryan a little longer. read more
