    Chicken Trio (so good)
    Meg M.

Honestly, the food here is AMAZING. This is my family's go to restaurant. Our server was so sweet and super attentive to our orders and the details. Overall, the service is slow so I wouldn't come if you are starving but the experience is great. They always bring out fresh bread with olive oil and seasonings. The appetizers were also delicious. They had a seasonal burrata which was INCREDIBLE. I love that the entrees come with a soup / salad as well. I ordered the chicken trio with zucchini. SO FLAVORFUL and the chicken was cooked to perfection and super tender / juicy. My favorite was the chicken marsala but the goat cheese on the chicken Bryan was superb. I've also tried their salmon which I would highly recommend as well as their grilled chicken. However they season it, it is so flavorful !!! All the sides are great but my favorite is the broccoli. This is a great spot, which plenty of options for everyone!

I'm going to start out with a disclaimer... this is a review I wish I didn't have to write. So on with the show.... Ah, Carrabba's on Linton. A place that once held a spot in my regular rotation, back when it had energy, a somewhat lively crowd, friendly bartenders, and a sense of excitement. But times have changed, and my visit tonight reminded me exactly why this place has fallen off my list. I walked in around 7:45 PM and grabbed a seat at the bar, where the "regulars" were already putting on quite the show. To my left, a very New Yorker-esque woman was chugging wine and ranting about the proper way to reheat pizza (apparently, she's the self-proclaimed authority on the subject). She also managed to squeeze in a complaint about the price of a side of spinach because, and I quote, "I could buy a whole bag of this at Publix for that price." Hopefully, she lived nearby or was Ubering because she had clearly enjoyed a few 9oz pours of the happy hour wine special. While those at the bar were getting a lesson on pizza reheating, the couple across from me were whining about the $11 wine, comparing their "small pour" to the more generous ones doled out during happy hour, while one of the local stoners was slurping up a HUGE bowl of chicken soup with a glass of water. Meanwhile, as I debated whether to order the new seasonal lamb chops, I noticed something peculiar. The signature Carrabba's warm bread and olive oil, that comforting staple of every visit, never made its way to me. I watched as it was handed out to others, but my spot at the bar remained breadless. No problem, I could do without the carbs. But then small plates of Italian meats and cheeses were also delivered to select bar patrons, yet I was skipped over again. Was it because I snuck in the side door? Did the bartender peg me as a potential dine-and-dasher? Or was I just invisible tonight? I shrugged it off and ordered the Meatballs & Ricotta. The flavor was solid, but the center of the meatballs? Cold. The Italian salad was its usual reliable self--no complaints there. Then came the main event: Lamb chops with a side of broccoli and penne marinara. The lamb chops? Delicious. Well-seasoned, cooked to the right temperature, and honestly, the best part of the meal. The broccoli? A bit mushy, but edible. The pasta? A complete and utter tragedy. If it had been boiled for even a minute longer, it would have officially turned into paste. I expect this at a school cafeteria, not at an Italian restaurant. When the bartender asked how everything was, I was honest. "The chops are great, but this pasta is way overcooked." She offered to bring me more, but at that point, I declined. Just train the kitchen staff on how to properly cook pasta. She asked if I wanted dessert. I asked for the check. And that's when it hit me--this place feels like a funeral. A restaurant in mourning for the vibrant, packed-to-the-brim, lively Carrabba's it used to be. I even texted a friend, "Sitting at a funeral... I mean, Carrabba's bar." It's sad, really. This location used to be great. But now? It's a shell of its former self, filled with locals clinging to happy hour and complaining about portions, while the food and service limp along behind them. RIP, Carrabba's Delray Beach. You had a good run. 2 stars--really one and a half, but an extra half a star given solely for the lamb chops.

Time promised and time on the phone. A little bit passed time promised.

Timing! Improve on timing and customer service. Ordered curbside, saw the order be put on the counter and the gentleman disappeared. I waited about 10 mins but no one came out. So i had to walk to the inside of restaurant. Will wait for store to contact me with a follow up. Another issue is the tip being charged before the service is completed. Customers might reconsider giving more if service is excellent.

    Chicken Marsala with fettuccini Alfredo
    Adilkyzy 9.

Ordered the Chicken marsala with fettuccine alfredo and was absolutely delicious. The chicken was tender, flavorful with sauce that wasn't overpowering. The mushrooms added nice depth, pasta was creamy, smooth, perfectly cooked. The combination of the savory with the buttery pasta was comforting and satisfying. Portions were generous and everything tasted fresh and well prepared. On top of that, the service was amazing Taj was incredibly caring, friendly and attentive, which made the experience even better.

I went to Carrabba's last week and was very shocked, that they stopped making the Cose n blanco mussels.. I've been ordering those mussels for 15 years, they were delicious .. the food and service is still good and so is the happy hour...please Carrabba's put the mussels back on the menu!!

This place hasn't changed in a million years. It could use an update inside. Taj our server was very good so I must compliment him. We ordered salads and chicken marsala with steamed broccoli and seafood with linguini. They were really sweet and sang to my husband a happy birthday. That was really great and it was complimentary as well. I just didn't love the atmosphere nor the furniture in the place - it's circa 1980's. There was no wait on a Saturday night so that was good for us. It's located in the plaza at Linton and Federal on the NE corner.

Last night, Carrabba's is catered my husband's 60th birthday party and did an amazing job. Thank you Tom for getting the food delivered on time perfectly and making sure everything was easy and ready to go. Working with Carrabba's all year as a partner at my high school I have found Tom and his staff to be absolutely amazing and always take care of us so well that I decided to use them at my home. Best decision I ever made, it made my life so much easier and not having to cook food and be able to relax and enjoy dinner with our family and friends. The food is always delicious and my daughter said it was the best penne pasta she ever had and she is very picky. Thank you again Tom, for all you always do.

    Lunch specials menu

More like 3 1/2 stars, but the value of our lunch bumped it up a half star. We are slowly using some of our Christmas gift certificates.... After looking for a Carrabbas that was (still) open, was open for lunch, and was near/enroute to our errands, I located this restaurant in my trusty Yelp app. They were not busy when we stopped by. We chose to sit at the bar and it turned out to be a very good choice -- with friendly and fast service. And a surprisingly good lunch. We both selected the "trio" from the lunch specials. You will not leave hungry -- even for their ridiculously low price. First, we started with complimentary warm sliced Italian bread served with an herb laced olive oil dip on the side. Each "trio" comes with your choice of soup (either spicy chicken; lentil and pasta; or minestrone) and a choice of salad (house or Caesar). He had the spicy chicken soup and loved it. I had their minestrone which was good. Both soups came in a small bowl (not just a cup) and were packed with all sorts of veggies (and his with chicken). The bowl was much larger than expected. For salads, he chose their Caesar and I had the house one. Again, a larger plate than expected; everything very fresh and crisp. My salad had carrots, cherry tomatoes, black olives, and a mix of two types of lettuce. I asked for no onions and their Italian dressing to be served on the side. The third part of the trio came last. It was a lunch sized portion. I had their shrimp scampi. There were 5 nice sized shrimp in a lemony garlic sauce with toasted bread served on the side. My husband had some of my leftover scampi sauce (he dipped the bread into it) because he liked it so much. For his "main" part of the trio, he had their meatballs with ricotta. The meatballs were served hot and perfectly cooked -- all the way through -- and the ricotta was a nice creamy addition. We couldn't eat everything. I decided to take my minestrone soup home and eat some of my salad and the shrimp. He chose to eat his spicy chicken soup and salad -- and take his meatball dish home. These lunch specials (there are other choices plus some sandwiches) are only available Monday to Friday until 3 pm. How they can do the "trio" for under $10 is amazing to me. But honestly, I thought it was wonderful -- and I'm sure I'll be back to try one of their other combos (stuffed mushrooms anyone? ).

It's obvious they care and truly want you to have a great time here. I called for a reservation and it was basically sold out... when they said they could take me at 5pm, I grabbed it. Was actually perfect as I was heading over to see the tennis tournament after dinner. On arrival, the place was empty. As expected, when we left, it was completely full. A half bottle of Sonoma-Cutrer Chardonnay was perfect with my lobster. The wine list isn't extensive, but it's well chosen and fairly priced. The food was excellent across the board. A special of Scallops, Crab Cake, topped with Shrimp over Vegetables was fantastic. My guest enjoyed the Clams Oreganata. I loved my Baked Stuffed Lobster (stuffed with crab), served with amazing Mashed Potatoes... and bonus points for a real hand towel after the lobster. Of course, I had to try the key lime pie... very good. Now I understand why this casual, unassuming spot is so popular... it hits on every note. I noticed a bunch of regulars dining at the bar, which looked perfect to me. The bar is walk-in only... so next time I don't have dinner plans, I'll remember I can just walk in and try for a seat. I recently came back with a friend for oysters, clams, and drinks, and we sat at the bar for the evening. The oysters, clams, and mussels were absolutely delicious. I originally ordered a Grey Goose martini before realizing they only serve beer and wine, so I switched to a Chardonnay, which was great. The experience was nostalgic in the best way. I know the ownership has changed since I first came here, but I was so happy to hear the cook is still the same! It really brought back memories. We had a fun night overall -- although I may have slightly annoyed the bartender by asking her to take photos of us (they didn't come out too well under the lighting). Before we left, another server kindly helped us take a few away from the lights, and those turned out much better. All in all, I'm really glad I came back to give J and J's another whirl. Before I talk about the food I want to say that the young lady that was the bartender and server was so friendly and gave great suggestions. The restaurant is small, however it is beautiful inside and does offer outdoor seating as well. Now for the food. They bring out fresh hot rolls with a small plate of cheese pesto and balsamic drizzle. Outstanding!!!!! We came to find out the owner who is the chef, his wife is a pastry chef and makes the bread and desserts. To start we had the Spanish chargrilled octopus. I know I have said this before about other restaurants, but I can truly say hands-down. This was the freshest, most tender, and one of the most flavorful grilled octopus that we have had. It came with a mixture of capers, potatoes, and vegetables in an amazing sauce. Truly fantastic. For dinner, my wife had the blackened yellowtail snapper in curry sauce, and I had the shellfish pan roast. Both were one of a kind dishes. We have never had such great flavor and seafood. Not to mention the amount of food that they put out and the presentation is worthy of awards. My wife's blacked snapper was cooked perfectly had a light blackened coating, and the curry sauce was tremendous. My shellfish were super fresh. Again cooked to perfection, tender, and flavorful. The sauce they were in was amazing. For dessert, we tried their homemade Keylime pie, and this too was top-notch and made fresh. We are planning our next trip to this restaurant and if you actually want a true fine, dining seafood experience you have to try this spot. I'm going to say it is priced accordingly for the true quality of food, the amount you are served and the presentation. If you are looking for a fried shrimp basket or fish and chips, this is not the type of restaurant for you. This is upscale seafood, and a true upscale seafood experience. You might want to consider making reservations as they do get busy and as I mentioned earlier, it is a small restaurant.

We got there early for our reservation, but it was a busy night and the inside table I had already requested and reserved was given away so we had to sit outside. They did have portable heaters outside so it wasn't too cold, but again, not what I requested or reserved. Our server was friendly and greeted us immediately, explaining the nightly special. We started with the Hamachi appetizer, a fun mix of yellowtail with passionfruit and gochujang. Everything about it was delicious but the yellowtail tasted much fishier than we've had elsewhere. Then the waiting game started. After waiting nearly 40 minutes our server brought the appetizer again so we had to assume he'd put a hold on our order and forgotten it. I went in to ask a few minutes later and our food was just now being staged. I don't mine if things happen, it's life, but tell us up front, say "whoops" and we will move on... Our dinner finally came out and it was really good! - The lovely Spensyr had the Table Wedge Salad, an interesting mix of Bibb lettuce, pork belly, and Tahini ranch, with a sun dried tomato compote. - I had the hangar steak with crispy fried potato and sautéed veg. It was delicious. Because of the earlier wait and mix up, we were offered complimentary desserts. Spensyr got their Key Lime pie and loved it, I got their white chocolate passionfruit cake dome thing and we each thought ours was better. * All in all it was a mixed bag. Apart from the overly fishy appetizer, all our food was delicious. The service was great, except for when they forgot us. The restaurant was comfortable and pleasant other than being kept outside in the cold with an entire empty bar.

There was a minor inconvenience at the start, but the entire staff more than made up for it. Special thanks to Matt, Darian, and Sage for making sure we were taken care of. If you visit the South Florida area you NEED to visit Eddie V's. You will not be disappointed. We will be back.

Our options were 5:00 or 8:45, so we took the 8:45 reservation. We arrived around 8:20 to see if they might be able to seat us a little earlier. We were greeted right away, told our table would be ready soon, and offered champagne while we waited. Such a nice touch! The restaurant itself is beautiful. It's dark, modern, upscale, and romantic, with a large bar and lounge featuring live jazz music, as well as a separate dining area. We ended up sitting in the lounge and loved the atmosphere. Our server, Adrianna, was extremely friendly and attentive. We started with drinks. We ordered the Private Plane, which comes with a cute little paper airplane and a large square ice cube, and a vodka martini. Both were excellent and strong, which I personally prefer! We decided to do several appetizers instead of entrées and ordered the lobster tacos, Wagyu dumplings, and burrata and tomato salad. Everything was excellent with great portions and tons of flavor. The lobster tacos were outstanding and probably my favorite lobster tacos I've ever had. Then came dessert. We couldn't decide between the Bananas Foster and the brownie with ice cream. Adrianna told us she had an idea and would take care of it. She came back with both desserts on the house! We were completely surprised. They were both so good that I honestly couldn't decide which one I liked better, so I'm glad we got to try both! The manager also stopped by to check on us, which was another nice touch. What really stood out was how special they made us feel. It was just an ordinary Saturday date night for us, but from the champagne when we arrived to the service and surprise desserts, they turned it into something memorable. Excellent food, drinks, atmosphere, and service. We will absolutely be back!

Theodore Luff, who fell in love with the breezy charm of the Florida Keys during a visit in the 1920s. He built a bungalow inspired by the island spirit with limestone porches & a chimney right off East Palmetto Park Road. That is the bungalow we visited today! Before becoming a seafood restaurant, this was the 1st home of the Boca Raton Historical Society. There were many other businesses here & eventually was going to be demolished. Arturo Gismondi a restauranteur known for La Nouvelle Maison, Trattoria Romana & the Biergarten stepped up. Luff's Fish House opened in 2017 after a tremendous renovation, with the original chimney windowpanes restored. We left the car with the complimentary valet and were seated on the large patio. There was a cool breeze under the oversized umbrellas. We started with margaritas that were delish and the perfect accompaniment to our $1 oysters. They served over ice & were large, juicy and very fresh. For dinner we shared the spring rolls and a lobster quesadilla appetizers, both were overflowing with lobster meat and fabulous. Service was impeccable, food was delicious, prices were reasonable for the quality of our meal, , setting beautiful & we will be back!
