Had a great visit at this busy location. What made it absolutely fabulous was the service. Jordan provided an experience like we were in a 5 star steakhouse. Stellar experience with him!!! Food was delicious. Loved the scampi Damien... creamy, garlicky and lemony. The chicken soup was piping hot and full of flavor. The cheesecake was creamy and dreamy.... Perfect ending. The only thing I didn't like was espresso martini, bc they don't use real espresso so they are not the best. Sangria was good. Chicken Bryan is always juicy and tasty. This place has gone completely downhill. I had not been there for several years, but I had always had a good experience. I should have taken the clue and left after I saw they had taken mussels and veal off the menu. I ordered a ribeye; do you remember steaks from low-end steakhouses like Ponderosa and Bonanza? Same deal. Incredibly tough and saturated with salt, likely with MSG as well. Reheated pre-cooked from a plastic bag? Don't know, would make sense. I had planned to compost it but realized the salt might mess up my compost. Good service, bread was fine. I regret my attitude might have given the woman next to me to insist on a comp for her pork chop. She had already eaten most of it. Did I say downhill? Wow. Stay the heck away. read more

Redemption! After a negative review, I was contacted by the manager. I have been back several times since and Carrabba's has really upped their game. One of my visits was with 50 other people. The main waitress did beautifully because our group of 50 turned into 60. She handled our request with professionalism and grace. The food was delicious for everyone. I've returned for dinner and lunches. The pork chops are terrific! I like the steak and Alfredo. The eggplant is good and the sausage lentil soup is memorable! Today's trip was for lunch and Tyler was my server. He was attentive and prompt. Today, I got one of the lunch specials that includes a soup, salad and a sample entree. The sausage lentil soup was divine and the house salad with Parmesan dressing was good. However, the Alfredo was the best I've had yet at this location! I asked Tyler to hold it and serve it after my soup and salad and he obliged. (Once, a server told me no - that they were not allowed to do that but it was a few years ago). I was prepared to put olive oil on the Alfredo because it has historically been too dry for my taste. It was perfect today! All in all, carabas is now redeemed in my eyes. This was my first time ever visiting a Carrabba's and I have to say, for a chain restaurant, I was pretty impressed. We arrived with a large party of 7, right around 10pm on a college graduation night. We were seated right away because they weren't busy at all, but within 30 minutes there were another 5 large parties from the graduation we'd just attended. Service wasn't its best, but they did a darn good job for suddenly being completely packed with not enough staff to handle such a rush. It goes a long way when a server explains why service is slow to temper expectations. Starting with the bread they bring out complimentary, it was very soft, fresh and buttery and the herbs and oil the bring to the table to dip it in was top 3 most flavorful I've experienced. My sister and I ordered a blackberry sangria pitcher to share and that was very pleased with how flavorful it was. I could even FEEL a kick of alcohol by my third glass. For dinner, I ordered a salmon entree that had a lemon butter sauce with tomatoes and capers. It came with a Caesar salad and side of choice. My salmon was perfectly cooked and the sauce on top was very robust. I'd for sure visit another. read more

It doesn't matter which Carrabba's we go to everything is always consistent. The service, food and atmosphere were spot on. We typically sit at the bar and receive that personal touch. Tonight we went to the Tallahassee location for the third time in a couple of months and it didn't disappoint. The meal was delicious as always. We've been longtime fans of Carrabba's restaurant. Always been a solid goto! My favorite entree has always been Pollo Rosa Maria. Over the years, the size of the chicken breast has shrunk dramatically but has always been juicy and tender. Tonight I ordered it and it was indeed tiny, the lemon butter sauce had too much lemon juice in it. The mushrooms were canned. Very disappointed. Wife had pasta with Italian sausage. Very tasty! We also ordered a Calamari appetizer. It was tasty and seasoned well. But barely warm when it arrived. For $100 I expected more. What a lame response I received from the business owner. I've been a regular for several years and tried Carrabba's for lunch yesterday. I noticed that they now have a new lunch menu which states tthat their specialty sandwiches are now larger, I noticed that my sandwich now had much more bread and way less filling compared to previous ones I've had,, also their side of fries was smaller. Very dissapointing based on the price. Quality just isn't there anymore. read more

This review is for the carry out services. We ordered and paid online and arrived at the correct time. About five minutes later a person brought out the food, or at least some of it. After checking the food it was missing more than half of the order. I tried to get the attention of staff through the doors but the doors were locked. After calling the restaurant a staff member brought out the rest of the order. My family ordered 4 meals with two desserts. This is the exact same order we had a few days earlier dining in. The taste of the food was the same however much colder. The portions however were about half of the dine in portions including the desserts. read more

Last visit on 10/18/25 I received wrong entree, wife's order barely warm. Prior visit, and this has been a problem at all Carrabbas, the salad and entree came at nearly the same time. We even inform servers of previous issues, and it still doesn't make a difference. read more

When I entered, I was immediately greeted by the hostess that was getting the menus ready for the evenings service. I informed her that I was placing a To-Go order. She asked a Server to assist. He was pleasant. I ordered the 10 oz Tuscan-Grilled Sirloin with garlic mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli for $20.99. It also came with a soup in which I choose the Mama Mandola's Sicilian Chicken Soup as it sounded delicious. After a short wait since it is made to order. My food was brought out by the kind Server. When I got home, I opened my bag to find the neatly organized arrangement of my order. It even including the wonderful bread with the seasoning and extra virgin olive oil. My sirloin was cooked perfectly to my order's request. The potatoes were tasty and the broccoli was tender. The soup was delicious. It was so much food. Went for dinner with a friend. I haven't been to Carrabbas in a long time, so I was pleasantly surprised about the food and experience. Our server brought out hot, fresh bread pretty quickly and the oil and herb mixture hit the spot. I ordered the Mama Modanes chicken noodle soup. It was tasty with a good broth. For my meal I got the Speidino de Mare with mashed potatoes. My friend got the eggplant Parmesan. Both meals came out hot. The seafood (shrimp and scallops) in my meals were crusted with flavored breadcrumbs. So tasty!! The mashed potatoes were also good. My friend really enjoyed the eggplant. Am I saying that Carrabbas one of the best restaurants in town? No, but it is reassuring to go to a restaurant, chain or not, where effort is being made at every level. read more

Perhaps my excitement to visit Carrabba's after not doing so for years helped to build up my expectations (previous years built up nostalgia about the restaurant and their Marsala, bread, and desserts), but I did leave mildly disappointed. Originally I had a three star rating but the following helped raise it to four: -great service -warm bread and tasty herb and olive oil medley remain a staple -the chocolate dream dessert (aka the insulin spiker) -Sunday bottomless sangria deal Outside of these things my long awaited chicken Marsala was a tad over cooked, much to my chagrin. The grilled asparagus side was delightful and cooked to perfection, however. Many times asparagus are tough at the bottom, but these were the smaller variety and easy to cut and chew. The side house salad with garlic Parmesan dressing were also highlights as the garlic Parmesan has real Parmesan interspersed in the mixture. On the other hand, the bathroom closest to the bar had a toilet that wouldn't flush and the bar tables were in need of cleaning upon arrival. All in all, I will probably return here at some point, but not before I visit some other non-chain Italian restaurants in the area. read more

Haven't dined in at Carrabba's in over two years, though we did get a few meals delivered during the pandemic. Met some friends for dinner here yesterday; was greeted immediately upon entering. Love that it is one of a few restaurants of its kind that still takes reservations for larger than usual groups. Our server was very pleasant and patient. The complimentary bread wasn't as yummy as I remember, but was still good; I am a fan of the easy-to-make olive oil dipping for the bread. :o) Our table ordered the calamari, cheesesticks, stuffed mushrooms, and shrimp scampi for appetizers, all of which were tasty. I ordered the Johnny Rocco salad with wood-grilled shrimp and the Sicilian chicken soup; other entrees included linguine alla vodka with shrimp, grilled salmon, tuscan grilled sirloin, and grilled chops. My salad was served with scallops, which I immensely disliked and specifically mentioned not to include. The server indicated that he could bring more grilled shrimp to make up for the scallops that were included. Fortunately, I wasn't allergic to scallops and didn't make a big deal about requesting a new salad with shrimp only :o). I simply discarded the scallops on my salad and added the four nice-sized shrimp that I received. Notably, the mashed potatoes that came with two of the meals were lukewarm at best, more "cold" than hot. Not sure what was going on with that, but my table mates decided to eat as is. We were all just having a nice time, enjoying finally getting together in person after such a long time of keeping our distance. Will give this restaurant a "pass" this time for the issues with the food; overall everything was good and I am sure that I will return in that I generally like Carrabba's. :o) read more

We started off with a calamari and mozzarella marinara appetizer. The calamari was OK it was a bit chewy but it had a nice flavor. The mozzarella sticks were not good at all. They were hard and didn't even have a cheese pull. Our waitress Kimberly, made our experience much better! She was extremely nice and very attentive to our table. I told her about some of the issues we had with the food and she sorted it out right away. I really liked the bread with olive oil dip. The olive oil dip is full of flavor and the bread is usually warm when it comes out. The chicken Alfredo had a lot of flavor and it was a big portion size. I was able to take leftovers home. The mashed potatoes were dry and did not have that garlic flavor I was looking for. The lobster ravioli was a very small portion size. But I was impressed by the small lobster chunks in each ravioli. The Caesar salad was good and our chocolatey dessert was nice and sweet. read more
