We arrived Monday about 6:00 pm for dinner after watching the top rated #1 current movie theater box office attraction at our busy local theater and were able to select a preferable high top table at the bar. We were greeted soon thereafter and offered beverages and bread by server Brittany. The casual atmosphere was relatively quiet and relaxed and allowed for continuous conversation at our table. The beverages were topped off with charcuterie bites, which is a nice touch. Our salad selections were delicious. Our entrees were hot and generous and tasty. We selected additional meals to go for the fabulous price of $10.00 each! Atmosphere-friendly, casual and clean. Service-server Brittany was knowledgeable, helpful and attentive to our pace and progress needs. Food-consistent with portion, preparation, seasoning, presentation, and value. We like happy hour...especially the blackberry sangria. And the food ain't half bad either. Started with their zesty lentil soup. Then I had, for the first time, their filet mignon. It was a big nine ounces and was both tender and favorable. Was it as good as Ruth Chris or Connors? No, but it was a lot better than the typical family steakhouse. The accompanying garlic spinach and mashed potatoes were both tasty and generous in size. My wife had one of the chicken dishes and found it to be equally appealing. The place very crowded and the service was both prompt and friendly. Prices are reasonable. Carrabbas certainly doesn't normally rate five stars, but tonight it certainly did...bravo! read more

Just finished a ridiculously good lunch here. Bread and herbs were fresh and tasty, salad was plentiful and not stingy with the dressing, and the entrees (we both had chicken piccata) were flavorful! Haven't been to a Carrabba's in a hot minute but definitely will be back. Andrea was our server and she was equal parts friendly, informative and patient (I ask a lot of questions). Took advantage of the $10 take an entree home situation and have 2 more meals for just $20 more. Carrabba's has had the best Chicken Marsala dish until a few months ago. We noticed that the Marsala sauce was different. It was not as rich and flavor full. This dish was always our go to, however, after trying this same dish several times later and we even went to another location, we found the sauce was still lacking that full flavor. We would hope that management would take note and restore the Marsala to its original flavor. read more

Take out service today was on point. The minute that I pulled into the curbside spot the server was out the door bringing out my order before I even checked in. We ordered lasagna with an Italian salad and the portion was more than enough for my husband and I to share. The salad was fresh, the lasagna was delicious and the bread was warm. It wasn't busy but the waiter we had "Alex" was all over the place but no where in particular. He avoided eye contact so we couldn't get his attention. Ordered drinks then the 4cheese and sausage mushrooms. They arrived fast but Alex didn't. We waited forever for him to come back so we could order the entrées. Again, he avoided eye contact so he never showed up to our table 30 more minutes goes by and he finally shows up takes our order and gives us a rundown of what we're supposed to be getting. He goes back to put in the order some of the things come out by different waiters, but Alex again is nowhere in sight. Drinks were low. And patience were even lower. Finally after nearly 2 hours of wait we finally got our food. It was hot. It was delicious. Everything was great, but wow, what it took just to get a re-order of bread was ridiculous. We even ordered dessert. The ice cream was completely melted like as if they set out the plate and he ignored it so we sent it back and got a fresh one which came back with a full ice cream scoop. The dessert was good tasted great ice cream was nice and waited another 20 minutes before he came to give us the bill. It's not a complaint of the food quality. In fact the food was very good. It was the ridiculous amount of wait that I'm complaining about. I still gave him a tip, but not a big one because he didn't deserve it. read more

We tried to have dinner tonight at Carrabba's on University at 6:00 pm. Although the restaurant was less than half full, the disengaged teenage hostess told us it would be a 5 minute wait. We acknowledged that the wait was due to a shortage of waitstaff, but we asked if we could be seated immediately even though we knew we would have to wait for service. I explained that I had recently had a back procedure, and without looking at us, she said we could sit on the banquette instead in their lobby. I am 76 years old. Fearing that the under-staffed waiters would have the same attitude as the hostess, we left. As we left, the hostess snickered at us. Not sure who manages the restaurant, but you have a "front of the house" problem. read more

We ordered a very LARGE order the other day. We had six entree orders, three soups, five salads, and a canoli order. Everything was put in one bag so sauces were leaked all over, containers were smashed, and salads were warm. The entrees were okay. The salads gross. The cannoli terrible. Nice dining place. They were busy because we came the weekend after hurricane but surprisingly their service was still great. I ordered sirloin with Marsala sauce on top. I wasn't really impressed with the food tbh. The steak a bit too tough for Medium. And the Marsala sauce just okay. (I heard it was good, and they will charge extra for about $4 for the sauce) so I was disappointed with the food. But again service was great. read more

We dined at the University Pkwy Carrabba's on a Saturday night and our server was Andi. We placed a call ahead and were seated promptly by Maddie on arrival. Drinks and bread appeared immediately. We ordered the bacon wrapped pork loin and the shrimp and scallop pasta. Both dishes were were excellent! Andi provided exceptional service and Jason, the manager, stopped by our table to answer some questions and make sure we were having a good experience. Group dinner of 16 were told we were going to have the long back table. Instead we got 2 tables separated and in the center of the busy dining room. Our server Joe did a really good job considering he had several tables around us plus our group. We didn't get our bread until after our dinner were served.
