Private Dining Room Review: 4.5 Food; 5.0 Service; 3.0 Private Room Ambiance 3.0 Our party of 20 arrived recently to celebrate our son and fiancé's engagement. The server (wish I knew her name) wonderfully served us for over two hours. Her order taking and delivery of the food, the special requests fulfillment (e.g., slices of lemon for the water), and knowledge and professionalism paved the way for us to enjoy the evening of celebration. Fresh, warm bread kept appearing on our table before the meal, nearly as fast as we finished the basket full, and it was enhanced by the dish of olive oil and salt and pepper for dipping. For the main course, I chose a fresh Caesar salad with crunchy romaine and thinly shredded parmesan cheese. My order of the Tuscan Steak looked and tasted beautiful at medium rare. Sicilian Spicy Butter, although nice to try, was not needed because the steak was perfectly seasoned. The garlic mashed potatoes fit right in with the steak due to its smooth, yet skin-included consistency and taste. For dessert, our party chose the specialty house cannolis, wonderfully creamy along with the flaky shell, chocolate cake, and bite-sized cheesecake squares. Basic beverages were included with the fixed menu selections. Adult and other beverages were available separately. Overall, Carrabba's made a favorable impression on our family on this special evening.

GREAT lunch specials! They have sandwich options (the meatball is so tender and juicy) or a small plate with a soup and salad. I tried the meatballs & ricotta, it was so good I forgot to take a photo! The meatball sandwich was also delicious. They give you bread to start with house made olive oil dip as well. A chill and comfortable place to come with the family or a quick work lunch. Servers were very friendly!

WOW, what a wonderful lunch! As we entered the restaurant, we immediately felt the holiday spirit here with all of their beautiful Christmas decor! It's been quite sometime since hubby and I dined here because they really didn't have much of a lunch menu or new food items. Times have changed! We decided to sit at the bar, and was greeted by the lovely and beautiful bartender, Rachael! She makes the most delectable Expresso Martinis! Husband had the Mezzaluna Fritte with a very nice sized Caesar salad. Very, very delicious. I ordered the Jumbo Crab Cakes served with a wonderfully delicious sauce and the Four-cheese & sausage stuffed mushrooms. We watched the Bengals and Bills game. Had great conversation with some of the patrons; fun was had by all! FYI, Monday through Friday Carrabbas's offers a great variety of lunch and sandwich items! I'm so excited to dine at Carrabba's again!!

Met up with a friend for a belated birthday dinner since she's close to the area. I've always liked the aesthetic of this place. We ordered the caprese with fresh burrata and I ordered an espresso martini and the Salmon Capperi. All in all, the service was great and the food was what you would expect. I love the balsamic on the caprese so that was definitely my favorite thing of the night. The salmon was well cooked and the broccoli was crunch which I like. I did enjoy the espresso martini but it was a little too sweet for me. Other than that, a great time was had by all! I did notice they had some new menu items so am keen to potentially try some of those dishes.

We come to Orlando often visiting a relative who loves Carrabba's, bringing us to several of the chain's locations in the area. This is our favorite. The service is prompt, the dishes are well-prepared and the interior is nice and never overcrowded. The best dishes are the spaghetti pomodoro, mezzaluna ravioli and salmon capperi. I wish they still had wood-fired pizzas on the menu but otherwise no notes.

I usually enjoy visiting Carrabba's, but my recent visit left me disappointed. The service was good, especially since the restaurant was extremely busy due to a private event taking up more than half of the tables in the restaurant. The bread is always great, and I love the herb olive oil mix they give to dip it in. I ordered a cup of the minestrone soup, which is always a favorite of mine. It's usually served hot, but my soup during this visit was room temperature. It was also in desperate need of salt. I ordered the grilled vegetable ravioli for my main, and it was not great. The ravioli themselves were very overcooked, and the sauce was bland.

We ordered to-go and spent $60 total for two plates, one of them being the lobster ravioli, which looked NOTHING like the picture on the restaurant's website. The raviolis were dry, barely had any sauce, were hard, and there were only 9 small pieces. Honestly, if we hadn't been so hungry, we would've driven the 20 minutes back to return it. The second plate was a chicken entrée that came with just two small pieces of chicken and a tiny side of fries. The portions were shockingly small for what we paid, and the quality did not match the price or presentation advertised. We also found photos in other customer reviews that looked much better than what we received, which makes the inconsistency even more frustrating. Really disappointed. We won't be ordering from here again. Good ambiance, good food, and good people. Chicken Bryan was delicious, I got it with a side of penne pomodoro and a house salad, goat cheese was very rich pairing well with the tomatoes.

The food is amazing and their portions are always generous and worth the money. Our go-tos are the friend haddock and the fried chicken strips. Their fries are good, the coleslaw has just the right amount of sweetness, and I love their potato salad. Highly recommend to anyone that is looking for a delicious meal at a reasonable price.

And to top it off snatched the menu out of my hands. Let's start with how they run the restaurant It's almost like s fast food They take your order first and pay, then they sit you. They even ask for tip. Once seated they bring the food out. Decor was okay but the furniture was in terrible conditions. Restroom looks like a 7/11 bathroom. Now the food which was pricey. No flavor at all. Let me start with the coconut shrimp, no flavor just drop fried. French fries were good but no seasoning. The lobster bisk was horrible. Again no flavor and very giddy with tiny sherds of lobster. Mac and cheese tasted like microwave food. My husband had fried scallops and although it didn't have much flavor they were pretty good. All in all great for all the seniors that were there but not for younger folks or anyone who likes to taste their food. Sadly to say won't be returning.

Updating this review from about seven years ago. I came to Reel Fish a while ago, and it was a…read moretruly awful experience. The skimpy amount of seafood I got was not good, not cooked well, or served with undercooked potatoes. It shook me. Especially for a Winter Park restaurant. After my five year statute of limitations passed on repeating restaurants, I looked for the perfect opportunity to come back and try again. I found that opportunity recently with a few friends for brunch. Their brunch menu looked amazing, so we made our reservation and came on by. Ambiance is actually really nice. Right off one of the main WP roads, gigantic windows look out upon the street as passersby roam from shop to shop. Inside looks like an ocean-side sea shack, but an upper middle class one. Very nice little ocean-themed chotchkies adorn the walls, very cozy. Service was also great. Very nice server, very prompt food delivery, and they gave complimentary bread with a delightful butter. I always adore free bread. We started off sharing the Seafood Fritters (Four savory puppies, stuffed with lobster, shrimp, scallops, clams, grouper, onions, corn, poblano peppers, served with a zesty tartar sauce). If all five of those seafoods really were in there, there must have been only a few molecules each, but there was undoubtedly flavors from most of that list, and they were accentuated with the poblano. Topped with that zesty tartar, and this was an A+ app. I had the Lobster Benedict Royale (Chunks of Maine lobster on fried green tomatoes & house-baked buttermilk biscuits, topped with poached eggs & Hollandaise, sprinkled with paprika & chopped green onions). This was indulgent. Pure luxury. A warm biscuit with a good flakiness, that fried green tomato with the perfect thickness and thin, delicate coating, and those perfectly cooked jumbo chunks of lobster on top, all covered in an unctuous Hollandaise. Exactly as it sounds, as advertised, the perfect seafood brunch item. I also got to try the Shrimp Frittata (Wild-caught Florida shrimp, fresh eggs, spinach, Campari tomatoes, goat cheese, caramelized onions, baked in a cast-iron skillet, with wheat toast, butter & a little mixed green salad). This was a fun dish. Good shrimps, well-cooked eggs, a nice tang from that goat, and of course a nice crunchy toast to help make it even more interesting. I didn't like that random salad on the side. Just get bigger cast irons and make the frittata bigger. Overall, what a redemption. I'm not sure what was wrong back in the day, but this is a five star place now that I will happily return to when it's time.

Tucked inside East End Market on the first floor, this walk-up counter spot keeps things simple and fresh. I ordered the 2-style poke bowl ($19) with the Lava Flow Tuna and Hawaiian Tobiko Salmon (contains nuts) over rice. After ordering, I grabbed a table in the courtyard, where there are plenty of umbrella-shaded seats that make for a relaxing place to enjoy your meal. The standout here is the freshness. Every piece of fish was thick-cut, buttery, and incredibly clean-tasting. The Lava Flow Tuna is lightly torched, adding a subtle smokiness that complements its sweet, savory glaze with just the right kick of spice. It was rich and flavorful without overpowering the tuna itself. The Hawaiian Tobiko Salmon was my favorite. It had a rich, buttery texture, while the tobiko added little bursts of texture and a subtle briny finish. Nothing felt overly sauced or heavily seasoned, allowing the quality of each ingredient to shine. At first glance, the portion looked a little small, but it ended up being the right amount to leave me satisfied without feeling overly full afterward. At around $20-ish, it is on the pricier side for a poke bowl, but considering the quality and freshness of the fish, I walked away happy. If you're already visiting East End Market, this is an easy recommendation, especially if you're looking for something fresh, flavorful, and lighter without sacrificing quality.

After hearing rave reviews about Rion's Ocean Room, I finally decided to give it a try for myself!…read moreOverall, I enjoyed my meal but my wallet did not. My husband and I stopped by for lunch on a Tuesday, and fortunately, they still had everything we wanted available. We've heard stories of them selling out early in the past, so we were glad we came when we did. When we got there, there were only 2 parties ahead of us, but with only one employee working, it took a little while to order. The employee seemed a bit flustered trying to manage everything on his own, so I think having a second person working during lunch would make the experience much smoother and faster. We ordered the One Pound Party Pack with Spicy Yuzu Tuna, Hawaiian Tobiko Ahi, Spicy Salmon, and Miso Sesame Salmon. Everything tasted very fresh and flavorful, and we loved being able to try several different varieties. That said, we would have liked a little more rice for the amount of fish included. I also think more topping options, like avocado, mango, or cream cheese, would add some variety and make the poke feel more customizable. Our meal came out to over $40 before tip, which felt a little pricey for the amount of food we received, but the quality was definitely there. I would most likely return when I'm in the mood to splurge on some really fresh poke, but for me, it's definitely more of an occasional treat than an everyday lunch spot.
