Although they consistently showed up for scheduled visits, the attention to detail was lacking. Each visit lasted max ten minutes, and the work performed was minimal--primarily leaf cleanup, mowing, and basic shrub trimming. Weed control is listed as an included service, but this was not done consistently. In several instances, I was informed that weed control had been completed when it hadn't, which I confirmed through my exterior security cameras. Communication was also slow and often unresponsive; I frequently had to send follow-up texts just to get a reply. Ultimately, we have decided to discontinue the service.

It was an excellent investment; we loved spending in our backyard after that. We asked All Green Scape to come out again to install even more grass, and they once again provided excellent service in an incredibly timely manner. The grass has thrived beautifully- it is really high quality, both lush and soft. Kids love to roll around on it and play on it all day long. We are 100% happy customers (-: We requested for all of our different palm trees, box shrubs, and podocarpus hedge to be trimmed back (all if not most were at least 2-3 stories tall). The crew was on time, extremely efficicent and communicative. Everyone was very mindful of our neighbors fence, property, roof line and powerlines. Everyone had PPE on and were so incredibly safe when scaling the trees and hedges. Clean up was very thorough. Majority of our fronds and hedge were processed by the chipper and hauled. Our neighbor was so impressed with the crew he also hired them on the spot to take care of his street tree. It is impressive how much green waste we produced that day. Luckily the city picks up yard trimings on the street so his crew broke down anything else we had to sizeable chunks and neatly piled for SJ GreenWaste to pick up. We will be happy to call them again for yearly tree maintenance service.

He gave a competitive estimate, including an accurate timeframe when his crew would arrive. His team also arrived on time. They're equipped like professionals, including all their gear and grinders. They look like they've been working together for a long time as they were quite efficient. They collected all the scraps and blew away all the debris so my yard looks really clean. Better communication about what would be removed and any extra charges would have made for a much better experience. Overall, they worked hard and completed the cleanup, but I would recommend being very specific about which plants should stay and confirming all pricing in advance.

After a year and a half, my mulch was thinning due to natural decomposition and the wind blowing…read moresome away. There were bare spots, as well as visible drip irrigation lines, and weeds sprouting up due to lack of mulch. I contacted two companies I had worked with before, but the cost was significantly more than expected, so I reached out to a couple of 4.8-5.0 star Yelp landscapers. One said they were out of state and no-serviced the request, but Maria of Sandoval Landscaping & Gardening got back to me the same evening that the bid request went out. She offered to meet me the next day to get an in-person look at the job and give me a quote. After looking at the backyard and seeing the mulch was actually pretty good there, I asked for her thoughts on only doing the front. Maria agreed the front definitely needed a new layer, but the back was in pretty good shape and didn't really need to be done right away or I could spot cover specific areas myself. The other two companies with higher prices quoted a new 1" layer, which seemed kind of thin - or at least would require another re-mulching sooner than what was ideal. But Maria and Armando said they'd apply 2-3", which seemed more in-line with what I was originally expecting in a re-mulch job. Even with that thicker coverage, their price was very reasonable, they could do the job the next day, and they'd also do a little bit of clearing of dead plant material as part of the job. Great! We agreed to move forward and she told me approximately when she and Armando would arrive the next day and roughly how long it would take. They showed up on time, got to work right away, and even did another mulch supply run when they realized the original load wouldn't be enough to cover the whole front yard. That impressed me - instead of just spreading out the original load thinner, they wanted to do the job to their high standards and just acquired more mulch. As you can see from the pics, they did a great job! Since I like to expose some of my more delicate tree trunk bases/root balls to the air (vs cover them in dirt or mulch), when I cleared the base area on those trees, I was able to see they did apply a nice thick layer all over the yard. This should last me at least a couple of years, maybe more. I couldn't be happier with the quality and value of their work. Both Maria and Armando are extremely friendly, flexible, and professional. Would love to use them on a future job when new landscaping is required.
