He would do things for free like replace my break light bulbs and always gave me a fair price. The window on my Porsche 911 would not go all the way up after pushing the button to fully close, leaving a 1/2 inch gap. Took my car to Carrera Motors. I was told the cable assembly had to to be changed, because the cables have stretched. It was not possible to adjust the assembly to get rid of the gap. So I went with their diagnosis and had a brand new assembly installed. I took the car home to find out the window still would not go all the way closed, Still had a gap, just a bit smaller, 3/8" ? I took it back to Carrera Motors, and they fixed it after saying they didn't adjust it properly. What a bunch of crap, to say it couldn't be adjusted and had to finally adjust it after all , to eliminate the gap. NO WAY they can have ALL 5 stars rating!! That's Yelp , I guess. I would have given them 1 Star if they didn't ultimately fixed the issue. Still costed my over $700 read more

Porsche Repairs! First off, thank you Yelp for existing and thank you yelpers for your opinions with most of them being 100% honest. For over 20 years, we had to go to dealerships for repairs because we just didn't know anyone. It's so hard to find good repair shops. Wouldn't be so bad if dealerships were honest. Carrera Motors is GREAT. Adam and his staff are amazing. We weren't happy with the dealership and we were just tired of spending the money and ending up feeling like we got ripped off. I searched "porsche repairs" and crossed my fingers. I read all the reviews and they were all positive so we went for it. I explained the issues to Adam and he was honest with the fix. Dealership quoted us $5400. He fixed it for 20x less than that. He explained everything to us and options and the why and how. Awesome!!! Back in Feb, I called them about doing a PDI on a 2014 Boxster S and they were able to have me come in quickly and per their reputation, did a great job at giving me peace of mind about the purchase. They did an oil change and brake fluid flush as well - all professionally and at a fair price (for Porsches). Yesterday during a drive a buzzing noise started in the passenger side air intake and from outward appearance, there was no obstructions in the intake. Gave them a call and they were able to let me come in the next day where they had to take a bunch of leaves and stuff out of the intake which required some disassembly.
