She was patient, kind, knowledgeable. She helped him find shoes that actually fit him, which is not an easy feet. no pun intended. She even showed him how to tie his shoelaces since he needs to start learning how to do that. She let me video record how to tie shoes so I can teach him a little bit better. She was extremely generous with her time. So much so that I purchased shoes. I honestly didn't really need. But I wanted to support this store and this amazing sales person. Well, we had a moment of silence, JK, before looking up and down the rows of sneakers. She tried on several pairs and fell in love with the Reebok's. Now, I have to say that $85 dollars is the going rate for a pair of nice sneakers for a teenager. So, I think it was a good value. This is a clean and well organized store. I really wanted to wear them to my cousins wedding and this shop came recommended. I originally thought the strap needed to be shortened, but the staff suggested a different fix. They told me that adding a pad under my foot and a non-slip band on the strap would solve the issue. It helped a little, but not completely leaving me somewhat disappointed. In addition to not receiving a complete fix, what really disappointed me was the service or lack thereof. The man working there barely looked up from what he was doing and never asked me to try on the shoe to see the problem for himself. He gave short, vague suggestions and seemed uninterested in actually helping. I had to walk back and forth to the shelves three separate times to find the products he mentioned, rather than him taking a moment to show me where they were. The whole interaction felt dismissive and rushed. The shop itself is tucked away inside Tysons Mall, so it is easy to miss unless you are looking for it. While it is convenient if you are already nearby, I would not make a special trip back. For a store that specializes in shoes, I expected more attention and care. The experience left me unimpressed and still struggling with the same pair of shoes.
