    London Fog

This vegetarian restaurant is closely affiliated with an adjacent yoga studio, it seems, to the point of having shared bathrooms I think. This also explains why the small parking lot was crowded when I stopped in even though the place had just opened. They had a wide-ranging menu. The pancakes I ordered for breakfast had a slightly earthy note, which was amply balanced by the maple-flavored concoction accompanying the fruit on top. A London Fog delivered on flavor as well. I saw plenty of appealing-looking sweets on display, but also healthier things on the menu, some of which they were taking pictures of (presumably for social media). The Canadian side of the river is less built up than Detroit is, but they may well have better vegetarian restaurants.

We were really excited to try this place. Loved the ambience, ease of parking, friendly staff and amazing options of food. We tried the fusion and Vietnamese noodles and they tasted amazing. However I am giving it 3 stars because of the kids menu option. We ordered the "creamy cheesy buttery vegan noodles" and was given boiled plain rice noodles in a bowl - which was still very tough in texture with a dash of nutritional yeast. Our child had a tough time chewing on the food and was put off by the bland taste. I had then asked for some vegan butter and flavoured it with salt and pepper myself to be a bit more palatable. I'm surprised that the regular menu food was sooo tasty but the kids menu option we choose was a disappointment. Huge array of deserts and drinks to choose from. Will visit again but choose wisely for the kids option.

What a cute location! This is perfect for studying, a coffee date or a quick catch up with friends! Wide selection of drinks and food. The drinks are good and everything is fairly priced given the trendiness of this spot! It definitely is worth stopping in!

Some of the time you can hear a song and it has little or no impact on you. BUT after a second or…read morethird listening, instead of turning the music off, you discover your first impression was wrong. There was something in the initial hearing that kept you open to coming back. This was my reaction to Brunch, a small, hidden restaurant located where the former Stacks restaurant was across from Tecumseh Mall. That's not to say there was anything wrong with the first time I went, there was just nothsing that called particularly positive attention to itself. Wow! Was I wrong! On my second visit, nearly everything I had was outstanding. I ordered the breakfast wrap, and it was delicious. A tightly packed tortilla with a perfect blend of eggs, fresh veggies and various breakfast mests all grilled on a press. The wrap was presented with fresh slices of oranges and mandolined slices of what must be the largest cucumbers in ontario. AND, even the potatoes, usually a meh throw-away item, were deliciously grilled and spiced with a seasoning salt that has just the right amount of paprika. My dining partner had a veggie omelet that I sampled and found good enough to take me one step closer to returning to vegetarianism. (We'll see) The ambience was comfortable and the place was spotless. The staff and service are top-notch, attentive and never disruptive. All were friendly and seemingly sincere. Unlike so many other places where the servers greet you with a bland scripted attempt at small talk and chattiness. Rita, Reina, and Roxanne make Brunch a warm, welcoming place. I wonder though, if having a 1st name beggining with "R" is a pre-requisite for employment. Whatever, this has quickly become a favorite. Brunch is deserving of a horde of diners one of the few places I'd stand in line for. 5s across the board.
