    London Fog
    John B.

This vegetarian restaurant is closely affiliated with an adjacent yoga studio, it seems, to the point of having shared bathrooms I think. This also explains why the small parking lot was crowded when I stopped in even though the place had just opened. They had a wide-ranging menu. The pancakes I ordered for breakfast had a slightly earthy note, which was amply balanced by the maple-flavored concoction accompanying the fruit on top. A London Fog delivered on flavor as well. I saw plenty of appealing-looking sweets on display, but also healthier things on the menu, some of which they were taking pictures of (presumably for social media). The Canadian side of the river is less built up than Detroit is, but they may well have better vegetarian restaurants.

    Fusion noodles

We were really excited to try this place. Loved the ambience, ease of parking, friendly staff and amazing options of food. We tried the fusion and Vietnamese noodles and they tasted amazing. However I am giving it 3 stars because of the kids menu option. We ordered the "creamy cheesy buttery vegan noodles" and was given boiled plain rice noodles in a bowl - which was still very tough in texture with a dash of nutritional yeast. Our child had a tough time chewing on the food and was put off by the bland taste. I had then asked for some vegan butter and flavoured it with salt and pepper myself to be a bit more palatable. I'm surprised that the regular menu food was sooo tasty but the kids menu option we choose was a disappointment. Huge array of deserts and drinks to choose from. Will visit again but choose wisely for the kids option.

What a cute location! This is perfect for studying, a coffee date or a quick catch up with friends! Wide selection of drinks and food. The drinks are good and everything is fairly priced given the trendiness of this spot! It definitely is worth stopping in!

Tandoori Taste of India - Shrimp makhani made extra spicy

This is probably the best and most Authentic Indian food in Windsor…read more It's a take out place only, and you'll have to call ahead with ideally 1 hours worth of time before you want to have your meal, but it's fresh, tasty and delicious. I've had vegetarian options, including paneer curry. I've had the shrimp dish, and a karahi chicken and they were all pretty good! It tastes delicious and fresh. I'm sure they will cater to your spice level if you tell them. With a little preplanning, you'll have a delicious indian meal in Windsor that you can enjoy at home!

I found this place on Yelp with some good reviews, so I decided to give it a shot. When I called in…read moremy order, they told me that they were busy and it would be a while before my food was ready. I was okay with that, so the lady on the phone said she'd call when my food was ready (which she did). I picked up my food and saw that the place was quite small. They only had a bar as a eating area and the bar had only 3 or 4 seats. It looked like they may be remodeling, but there definitely isn't much sitting room. On to the food.... I like that they offer a good variety on their menu. I chose to get the shrimp makhani. They asked how spicy I'd like it and I said as hot as possible. With the 1st bite, I realized that they had gave me all of the heat that I could handle. The food was SPICY just how I like it. The sauce was spicy but also really good. The shrimp was a little overcooked for me, but didn't affect the flavor at all. I wish I had a little more rice to go with the shrimp makhani, but overall it was a good experience.

This place is such a gem! It's definitely on the smaller side, but that's part of the charm. The…read morecozy dining room and the cute little bar give it a fun neighborhood vibe that makes you want to hang out a little longer. The food was fantastic, everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and worth the wait. The service was just as good. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and kept things moving even though the place was packed. The only thing I thought was a little odd was that syrup for the pancakes was an extra charge instead of coming with them, but it definitely wasn't enough to take away from the experience. Just know there's probably going to be a wait, but honestly it's easy to see why. I'd happily wait again. We'll definitely be back!

Brooklyn street local you have finally won me over…read more I've been here several times but every time it wasn't my decision. When you have brunch with the girls it's hard to get a vote in and tbh I plan everything else we do so I'm happy to take a break on Sunday because I am god after all. Anyway I went on my own accord today. The service was beautiful. I really don't love having to order off of my phone because it limits the server to customer experience but despite that my server Mary made me feel super connected to her. She had great recommendations and knowledgeable descriptions of the menu. I sat on the patio with a nice breeze and minimal bugs. Seating was spacious and delightful. I got the brekwhich and it was soooooo delish. Mary could tell I was a freak so she had the crazy idea to put their locally farmed 3 berry jam on it. I told her it reminded me of that one episode of SpongeBob and I lost her :/. The savory plus the sweet was heaven in my heart. If he could he would, and apparently everyone's afraid of heaven. I also got my fav a BM (Bloody Mary). I didn't ask what mix they use like I usually do, I had faith. And I was right to do so. McClure's! MY FAVORITE TIED WITH VIVIOS! It came with a spicy peppery rim which was aight but that's not really my thing, I'm not that freaky! But I don't yuck anyone's yum. I also got the NEW lavender mimosa. Fragrant, festive and fastidious. It was a bright light that woke me up in a way only summer light is able to do. Angels are blinding, I hope Mary can still see because she took a peak in my heart to deliver the best experience. 10/10 will be back Side note I really don't get poutine for breakfast but I appreciate people sticking with brand. And I don't have to order that :)

BUT after a second or…read morethird listening, instead of turning the music off, you discover your first impression was wrong. There was something in the initial hearing that kept you open to coming back. This was my reaction to Brunch, a small, hidden restaurant located where the former Stacks restaurant was across from Tecumseh Mall. That's not to say there was anything wrong with the first time I went, there was just nothsing that called particularly positive attention to itself. Wow! Was I wrong! On my second visit, nearly everything I had was outstanding. I ordered the breakfast wrap, and it was delicious. A tightly packed tortilla with a perfect blend of eggs, fresh veggies and various breakfast mests all grilled on a press. The wrap was presented with fresh slices of oranges and mandolined slices of what must be the largest cucumbers in ontario. AND, even the potatoes, usually a meh throw-away item, were deliciously grilled and spiced with a seasoning salt that has just the right amount of paprika. My dining partner had a veggie omelet that I sampled and found good enough to take me one step closer to returning to vegetarianism. (We'll see) The ambience was comfortable and the place was spotless. The staff and service are top-notch, attentive and never disruptive. All were friendly and seemingly sincere. Unlike so many other places where the servers greet you with a bland scripted attempt at small talk and chattiness. Rita, Reina, and Roxanne make Brunch a warm, welcoming place. I wonder though, if having a 1st name beggining with "R" is a pre-requisite for employment. Whatever, this has quickly become a favorite. Brunch is deserving of a horde of diners one of the few places I'd stand in line for. 5s across the board.
