    Deep-Fried Cauliflower
    Aparna B.

Delicious vegan quick food with the nicest staff and delicious food. My friend and I split the cauliflower with buffalo sauce and the 2 slider meal with curly fries. The cauliflower was fried perfectly but didn't feel heavy. They make their meatless patties in-house and they were AMAZING. The curly fries were seasoned so well and were so crispy. We also tried their trap sauce (reminded us of thousand island dressing) their spicy ranch (very good!). Their drinks are homemade teas and very refreshing. I hope to be back soon to try more goodies!

It would be 5 stars but there are few things that bothered me enough to remove one star. First, there are no prices on the menu so I was a little shocked how much I had to pay for 2 burgers and two sides of fries. Even after we said it's a dine in, they packaged everything in the containers so it's was a little hard to eat. There is no such a thing of tap water. I assume majority of people do takeout so they ate not really prepared for a dine in experience. The prices are definetly on a high side. The wait was pretty long but when we finally got our sandwiches I have to say, these were probably the best vegan burgers we had so far in restaurants. I had the bbq Jackfruit sandwich with sweet potato fries with added cinnamon sugar. My husband got the What's Beef with curly fries. I love that there is vegan place like this with such amazing burgers I belive many people that eat there are not even vegan! We need to show more people that vegan food is delicious! I don't think I'll be back often as the prices are too high.

    Super nice spot

It was fine. But that's it. No real "service" it's a kiosk and they hand you your food and it says no refills anywhere so. Not great on the ambiance either but I came twice and it filled its purpose ! Basic vegan foods !

10/10 for a vegan burger. Honestly can not tell that it's vegan. Great flavor and pairs well with the toppings. ~$15 for the burger, kinda pricey but well worth it for the taste! Also got the truffle fries. You can tell it's freshly fried but didn't taste special to me. Would probably try their sweet potato fries next time. Overall, a great place, would return.

I had the barbecue burger! It was good! I definitely would love to try other things on the menu! I had a smoothie also and you can add in any extra ingredients like protein, vitamins and supplements. The inside was nice and there parking on the side of the building. Our food came out fast and hot so service was fast and efficient! Thank you for the food!

Are the plant based patty the impossible burger? Or is it homemade?

When I was at the restaurant there were advertisements on the table for impossible burger, so I'm pretty sure that's what it was. The patty I had definitely was not homemade.

Sometimes the service can be slow. But I have always found the staff to be very kind and courteous. So, if you're in the mindset of having a relaxed dinner experience, then you'll have a great time! The layout includes three bars: the main bar, the sushi bar, and the tiki bar. The crab rangoon cheese katsu sticks were as good as they sound. I was worried there wouldn't be much crab, but that wasn't the case. The lobster tail robata was easy to peel, and complemented well by its accompaniments. The pork belly robata was tender, while the tare added some sweetness. Of the two, I preferred the pork belly. I've had four of the six bao buns. The chicken had a char flavor, and the steak sauce added some welcome moisture. The filet was tender, with a bold but not overbearing garlic aioli. The pork belly was also tender, glazed with a sweet honey, and balanced by some savory pickles. The sausage had a nice snap, and the Fresno peppers gave it a bit of a kick. The filet and pork belly were my two favorites. The sushi is some of the best I've had locally. The shikotsu roll (wagyu and bone marrow) was incredibly rich and buttery. $36 may seem steep, but it's the most memorable sushi roll I've ever had. The toro (fatty tuna) to caviar was also very impressive, and had soft, melt-in-your-mouth texture. Here's how I rank the nigiri I've tried: 1. Tamago (omelette) 2. Madai (sea bream) 3. Aji (horse mackerel) 4. Shima Aji (striped jack) 5. Ikura (salmon roe) 6. Uni (sea urchin) Lastly, for dessert, I've had the key lime pie. It was remarkably fluffy and honestly one of the best slices I've had. Simply put, TigerLily blew me away. I can confidently say it's one of my favorite restaurants in the Metro Detroit area. I'll be back soon to try the brunch, noodle, and sandwich options.

I wish they'd do something unique like a wasabi or kimchi version. We've been here twice for just brunch. One of my favorite places. If they had a mimosa deal, it'd be perfect.

Once at their pop-up in Cork Town (highly recommend following their IG for info!), once at a food policy conference which they catered, and recently i was able to get out to their brick and mortar on Woodard. All three occasions did not disappoint! the complexity of flavor, the locally sourced ingredients, and the joyous staff make Pink Flamingo a true gastronomy. i will spend a little time talking about the two events in the past. Other than the fact that i literally ate 6 chicken salad sandwiches and took one to go at the conference (nuff said). However, in my most recent experience i was driving up Woodward and decided to pop in and see what was on the menu this week. The Quesadilla dinner caught my eye. Three quesadillas, filled with a protein of your choice, come with two sides. For protein, i went with the blackened white fish, and for sides, i chose beans and fried plantains. Rich and piquant flavor on the fish, met by a crispy cheezy quesadilla, all together it was savory and scrumptious. Plus, the sides were perfect additions, the plantains offering a sweet and salty bite and the beans cooked perfectly. Loved every bite and can't wait to make Pink Flamingo a regular lunch spot! Also great storefront, they sell locally made products so it's great to see those dollars stay in the community and the collaborative promotion of other businesses! And the staff were super friendly coming from around the counter to talk with us. Also, for a Friday at 3, the place was not too busy at all. Quiet, easy in and out. If you are having an event, have them cater. If it's Thursday in the summer and you're looking to kick back around a fire and fill your face with nutritious, delicious, and creative food, go to the Cork Town spot (weather permitting).
