I love Carry Out Menu. It is so convenient. I love that they have a lot of restaurants to choose from. It is a little pricey and I don't care for the min. delivery order but we go in as a group most of the time so it's easy to get around that. This is definitely worth it. read more

This service SUCKS! Food is cold, drivers are rude... and most of the time the food is LATE! Our company uses them to bring our lunches daily and 9/10 the food has obviously been sitting around in the restaurant and by the time it is delivered you either have to microwave it (and who can eat microwaved FRIES!) or if you order a salad, it's warm and wilted. This service is a complete JOKE! Not enough drivers and some of the restaurants cannot handle the load. THis service is a complete RIP OFF and it's extremely mismanaged. read more

I placed an order online, noticed a mistake in the receipt, and called immediately to have it corrected. On the phone, I stated I needed to correct my order for three "Singapore rice noodles vegetarian" and the Carryout Men rep. asked "Regular rice noodles vegetarian?" to which I replied "Singapore rice noodles vegetarian." An hour and a half later (not the one-hour window stated) I received a delivery of three "Regular rice noodles vegetarian" along with some other smaller dishes I ordered. I called and was told I'd get the correct order after another hour, but sometime later got a call back and was told I wouldn't get my order or a refund because the original order said "Regular rice noodles." Then I explained about the phone conversation that occurred immediately after I placed my order, so I was then placed on hold for a lengthy amount of time and then told again I would not get my order for "Singapore rice noodles" or a refund because the first person I spoke with didn't write the correction in the computer. I then asked to speak to the manager who once again repeated that I would not get a refund because the change was never properly made in the computer by the first person I spoke with (that's honestly what she said, I wouldn't get a refund, not because of my actions, but because of her employee's actions), and when I explained the ridiculousness of that reasoning she said the only thing she could do would be to give me a credit on my next order. When I replied that I was not satisfied with that because I would not be using their service ever again she agreed to have a driver return my cash for that portion of the order. So, 3 1/2 hours and several stressful conversations after the original order was placed I got my money back for just that portion; I, of course, would have never ordered the smaller dishes and paid for them along with the delivery fee if I had known I wouldn't get the main dishes. I had paid with cash rather than a credit card because Carryout Menu charges a fee for using credit cards, a fact I wasn't told until after I had made several phone orders to this company (most of which were received in a time period longer than the stated one-hour delivery time) with a credit card and was unknowlngly charged that extra fee each time, so I guess I should have known not to try to continue dealing with them. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE!! SAVE YOUR TIME AND MONEY!! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!!! My husband and I received a gift certificate to Carryout Menu. When I called with a question about completing my order, the female customer service representative answered my question and assured me my gift certificate was still valid. Suddenly after pulling the phone away from her ear and talking to a man, she stated that my certificate was indeed expired and was no longer valid. I looked at my certificate and did not see an expiration date printed ANYWHERE. I asked why my certificate had been expired and her answer was "My manager says that he just knows it is". That was it. No reason given, no explanation, her manager "just knows it is". I asked to speak to that manager, who absolutely refused to provide any answer to my questions. The manager's name is Young. Young told me the certificate was expired because he just knows and that he was unwilling to do anything to help me. He was not willing to give me a voucher for ANY amount and said that if I had been a long time customer he would have done more for me (which I seriously doubt). So he was unwilling to help a first time customer even if it meant I would go back and BECOME a long time customer! Young was completely incompetent, unfriendly and has the worst communication skills of anyone I have ever dealt with. To save yourself time and frustration, order to pick up or order from somewhere that delivers their own food! read more

While I would love to review with more than 1 star because the concept is great, the constant let down and disappointment that CarryOut Menu delivers with their food delivery is cause for 1 start (or less). No complaints on the food -- but that is how it should be considering Carryout Menu just delivers the restaurants food for them. I use specifically for business events. Our food orders have been late 22 weeks in a row, including today (23 minutes late) ranging from 15-45 minutes. At times, we will get a confirmation email that our "food has been successfully delivered" but our food has yet to arrive. Management doesn't seem to care at all about the complaints - as they give comments like "I'll notate your account or offer you a partial return on delivery fee". As an honest opinion, for use at least for company functions, I would NOT recommend CarryOut Menu. Their lack of consistent delivery, week and week again, leaves businesses wondering if they can depend on them. Simple answer, you can't. Again great concept but the actual delivery of the service falls very very short. read more
