Bar none, this car repair shop is the best that I have ever dealt with. Very professional, honest and the quality of service is unmatched. I brought in my 2004 Chrysler Crossfire in for a throttle position sensor code. They also did a flashlight courtesy inspection on my vehicle where they did find a couple of items that needed attention. With precision, they troubleshot my throttle position sensor code down to my vehicle accelerator pedal. The pedal needed to be removed and replaced. They gave me a very fair estimate on the cost for repair, but to my utter surprise it was actually $200 cheaper than what they estimated. Never ever seen that before, where you come in and you pay lower than what was estimated. They definitely know how to build loyalty. I will now be a loyal customer to Cars Nv for my maintenance needs. Another thing, I got my car back cleaner than when I brought it in, and the old part was bagged in plastic and sitting on the passenger side floor. I love this family run business. I was recommended to bring My Cayenne to Cars. I was reluctant at first as most places that are specialized in Porsche give me outrageous quotes to fix my drive shaft bearing support. Mau, the owner is just an honest and straight forward guy who is knowledgeable and very experienced in repairing VW, Audi and Porsche. I thought for sure my car was broken after my e-brake wouldn't release and wouldn't drive at all when I parked at a very slight incline at Baskin Robbins. I called the "new Eddie" I think his name is Andy, and told him what happened to my BMW X5. Instead of having me bring it in to get money out of me, he first sent me a video on how to manually release the e-brake from the trunk that usually works in 95% of cases. I followed the video instructions and found the lever to pull up but that thing was like cemented in and would not pull upwards!! I had 3 kids in the car with me and was stressed out. I called back to tell Andy that it didn't work. He then said it would need to be brought in so I had it towed to their shop and Uber'ed home. The shop was able to fix and replaced the part in 2 days and had me on my way. I appreciated that they tried to help me fix the issue on my own first; instead of just having me come in to get money out of me. Ok, so I'm on the 3rd week waiting for a call back from either Eddie or Armando. Came in at noon on a Monday 3 weeks ago in hopes of getting my car ready for the Furious 7 movie night that Friday with some car buddies. Must have been lunch time because it was only 12-1 when I stopped by and they were on their way out. Service looking for: Lowering springs Update on door lock replacement (warranty) Problems with Vag program. (windows not rolling down/up on que with key fob) Wheels spaced So I came in, showed them a quote from another shop, and was told they could beat the price and have it in time to get me back on the road that Friday. Spoke to Eddie and Armando who I would presume is the manager, because it was him telling me "I got you, I have the springs in the back. I'll call you as soon as I leave" Guess he's still there, because 3 weeks later, no call. It's a shame, did a great job when I needed them to, now that I want more work..... No harm I guess, just disappointed. 3 stars because I believe I may have jumped to conclusion when giving them 5 stars without revisiting them a 2nd or 3rd time. I'm new to the Vegas area, having just moved here I wanted to find a good, honest autoshop with a good owner (which I previously had one in LA). You guys know typical auto shops, they'll tend to say you need repairs and find ways to make money from you. So I comb through all the reviews in detail and settled on Cars NV. My Audi A7 can be expensive to fix and I had bad experiences from the dealer who tell you you need repairs that you don't need. For example, your brake lights will go on when it's low the Audi dealership in LA close to Beverly Hills tried to get me to change it early when I didn't need it! There was a sound in my front left tire and I feared it could be a loose wheel bearing or so due to bumpy roads. I was expecting to spend $200-350 probably. This shop looked at it and said it was only a tire rod that needed to be tightened and they said it was a quick fix and didn't charge! The owner was a good honest person. He loves cars and he took his time to talk about a 1999 Porsche he's been working on. It was really cool, and you can tell he values the longer term relationship so I'll definitely be coming back and I'm really glad I found a place that just wants to do the right thing! read more

Let me just preface the fact that this place is simply and amazingly great. Brought my S5 B9.5 here to get lowering springs and spacers installed and they did a phenomenal job. Super happy with the results!! Fast forward couple months later I had my aftermarket wheels installed at a different place for the sake of convenience but they didn't advise me on using the cone lug bolts despite being an aftermarket wheel place so I was running OEM bolts (should've done my homework to be safe)...and eventually one came lose. I was perplexed and worried so messaged the mechanic super late at night and he advised me to call in the morning off-hours during the weekend to see if anyone might be around to help me get sorted out. Thankfully Moe was available and was gracious enough to help me replace the missing lug bolt early first thing in the morning and made sure everything was tight as a temporary solution before the right stud conversion kit comes in a couple days. Service like this is unparalleled and I couldn't be more grateful. Life saver, in all the literal senses. And to top it off, it's always a good time swinging by this place to look at all the German and exotics being worked on. So thank you, and don't think I would wanna take my business elsewhere! CARS, TRULLY A 5 STAR SHOP. I was in town visiting my dad. I've had this intermittent problem where my 2002 VW European Camper would not start. I did some research back home before my trip and from the forums it sounded like the ignition switch. A plastic electronic part the the key cylinder turns. Anyways I took it to Santa Monica Volkswagen and they told me I needed to replace the cylinder, the lock housing, the ignition switch, the relay and the steering lock. Not being a dealer guy and running out of time, I decided to go on my trip and take my chances. Once I got to Vegas I contacted Moe and he told me that it sounds like I was on the right track with my self diagnoses. Anyways I couldn't be happier with the 5 Star service from Moe and Eddie at the front desk. And a huge shout out to Ceaser the man who actually did the repair. I'm very anal about my cars and who works on them. I felt very secure when I dropped off my van over the weekend. They also have a huge beautiful shop in a nice business area. I moved into town a few months ago and had yet to find a trusty local mechanic. Last week on the way to work I hit the 40k mile mark and my car notified me it was time for an oil change. So, I called my local VW dealership for a quote on a 40k service on my VW GTI. This service calls for an Oil Change, Coolant Flush, Cabin Air Filter Replacement, DSG (transmission) Flush, and Overall Car Inspection. Doing some prior research I knew this was going to be a tad expensive because of the DSG Flush. However, I never expected the "stealership" to quote me $1,250!? I pulled the classic "I'll need to talk to the wife about this," ended the call, and scrambled to Yelp to find a better alternative. At the top of the Yelp list was CARS. I called CARS hoping for a better price, but was also prepared with some questions on how they performed their DSG flush (it's not too complicated, but lazy mechanics often skip some vital steps). Within 30 seconds of being on the phone with the owner/manager, Moe, I was sold as a lifetime customer. He showed not only great attention to detail, but also incredible knowledge on VW/Audi vehicles and their maintenance quirks. I was able to drop my car off the next morning at 10am and their servicing was completed before 2pm. The total cost was drastically lower than the dealership, coming in around $700. While I waited for the work on my car to be completed, I was shown around their shop, given complimentary drinks, lounged on the couch, and eventually took a 5 minute Uber to the Strip! Highly recommended this shop to anyone needing work done on their car. I had the absolute best experience at CARS...Eddie was great to work with! I had originally gotten an estimate from Mini Cooper of Las Vegas for a list of items I needed to be fixed on my 2012 Mini Cooper. The total came to just under $1,600.00. I had originally reached out to T&M Automotive on the referral of a friend, and since they do not service Mini Coopers, Nick there told me to reach out to Eddie. Eddie confirmed that I did need to replace a belt and water pump pulley, and was happy to replace some lights on my car as well (Mini quoted $260 just for lights) Out the door, with labor, cost me $356.00. A section of my front bumper had come apart, and the CARS team also fixed that at no charge (it was just clipping it back together, not a big deal, but was so nice to have it done!) Went to CARS and got it done quickly and at a great price - they even had the initiative to recommend that both headlights might as well get replaced, since the entire bumper had to be removed anyway. +$10 to save a bunch on labor in the future. I'll be coming back for all of my services and oil changes. It's not often that you find really genuine, honest, and even funny mechanics who take real pride in their work. I'm an owner of a German car (Benz) for a year now, I have to pay the cost for luxury so to speak. I have only known to take my car to Mercedes dealership to get any service work done. So for the 1st service I had to get done was the Part B service, which to my understanding is pretty much is the function check : cooling system, brakes, windshield wipers, and filter. Its a little more inspection than the Part A service. The cost for all that? $300+tax. An arm and a leg! What did I do...? I just did the oil change with Mercedes dealership and put off the rest of the stuff for next time because I did not want to cough up that much money... that amount was ridiculous. Months later, I researched around because I really wanted to get my other services checked since its been awhile and I DID NOT want to go back to the dealership. So I happened to stumble upon this business CARS and saw an actual mutual friend Andy who got his car serviced here and rated a high review on it. He actually recommended I take my car to get it looked at. I am a happy customer! The guys at the shop took care of me and my "baby" and mentioned that the Part B service is nothing more than a Oil change with some additional stuff. I was very pleased with the service and thought how easy going and friendly they all were! Thats definitely a plus. The best part was that I was able to keep my limbs attached! It's been years since I've been here because I don't own a German car anymore, but I can not ignore the level of service and integrity these guys have. I was getting jerked around by the service department at Volkswagen. They were lying to me about carbon build up not being covered under warranty and wanted me to pay 1500 out of pocket for the labor. When I showed up to cars to get my engine de-carbonized for 800, I told them my issue with Volkswagen warranty and they called the dealership for me! They argued with the service adviser and asked how they knew it was a carbon issue without putting 5-6 hours of labor taking the engine apart? (That's bout 600 dollars in labor for nothing) The service advisor who works on commission changed his stance and accepted my car under warranty and I only ended up paying the deductible for the repair. This shop could have taken my money but instead did the right thing and helped me get my car fixed under warranty through their competitor. I came back the next day and bought the entire shop beer and thanked the co-owner for his help. This kind of integrity is rare to find in this dog eat dog capitalist world. I recommend them if you own a German car. They do not work on American or Japanese vehicles. read more

I have to tell Yelp about CARS. I am grateful for their quick, professional service and their awesome prices. I recently had the transmission on my 2006 BMW M6 go Bye Bye the hard way (pics attached) and CARS was there to get my car on the road again. I also had a 2001 BMW 740i that had a bad engine that needed to be replaced as well as some suspension work. I had a complete suspension rebuild kit and BC Coilovers installed. That along with a new engine installed at CARS have made my 01 Silver Bullet just like new. I couldn't be more happy with the results. Armando was the lead mechanic ( to my knowledge) on both cars and I have to give him a BIG THANK YOU. Moe is one of the owners and the gentlemen I worked with most.
