I had a nail in my tire with a slow leak. From the moment I walked in Laura treated me like family (I had never met her before). She got my car in to be serviced that day, gave me an Uber discount so I could get to work on time, and then gave me two great options to choose from when buying a new set of tires. 1 star I would strongly recommend thinking twice before having your vehicle serviced at this Big O Tires location. We brought our Tesla Model Y in because one tire was losing air. Big O told us the tire had sidewall damage and could not be repaired, so we paid approximately $600 for a replacement. Almost immediately afterward, the Tesla reported low pressure again on the exact same wheel. We brought the car back to Big O specifically because of the continuing pressure loss. Their employees inspected it, refilled the tire, said they could not find anything wrong and told us it was fine to drive. A couple of days later, the tire had again lost substantial pressure. We returned, and this time Big O told us the wheel itself had a hairline crack. This is where the experience became particularly troubling. The district manager, Audrey, initially blamed us for the cracked wheel because we had driven approximately 113 miles after the tire replacement. We explained that the tire had started losing pressure almost immediately, that we had already brought it back because of that problem and that we only continued driving after Big O inspected it and told us everything was fine. Her explanation then changed. We were told the hairline crack had actually already existed, but that our subsequent driving had made it worse. If the crack already existed and the new tire was immediately losing pressure, why were we sent back onto the road after specifically returning because the tire was losing air? Throughout this process, we repeatedly asked Big O for photographic evidence of the alleged sidewall damage that supposedly required the original $600 tire replacement. They were unable to provide any. Audrey then told us Big O could have the cracked wheel welded for approximately $450, which she characterized as a discounted price. We called Alloy Wheel Repair ourselves. They repaired the wheel successfully for $165 total. At that point, we no longer felt comfortable allowing Big O to work on the vehicle and removed the Tesla from their shop. Afterward, Audrey texted me: "I am having the wheel repaired at no cost to you." She also left my fiancée a voicemail stating that Big O would cover the wheel repair and specifically said that "the employee that did the work will be paying for it." Big O nevertheless refused to refund the approximately $600 tire. What bothered me most was the constantly changing explanation: first the tire was the problem, then there was no problem, then the rim was cracked, then we were blamed for causing it, then management acknowledged the crack had already existed but argued that driving made it worse, even though we drove only after Big O inspected the continuing leak and told us the car was fine. It was only after I began raising Nevada's automotive repair protections and asking management to verify the timeline with the store that their position began changing and an offer was made to cover the wheel repair. Nevada consumers should know that repair shops are regulated by the Nevada DMV and subject to Nevada's Automotive Repair Customer Bill of Rights. We have preserved the repair records, written messages and voicemail and intend to submit the matter for review. Mistakes happen. A tiny hairline crack may be difficult to detect. What I cannot accept is blaming the customer, changing the explanation as contradictory facts emerge, sending us back onto the road after we reported that the supposedly repaired wheel was still losing pressure and refusing to provide documentation supporting the original $600 diagnosis. We are also pursuing reimbursement for the tire charge. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend this Big O Tires location. read more

On Friday I scheduled an oil change for Sunday (8/2/26) at 8:00am. The appointment was confirmed. I showed up at 8:00am, and was told a technician would not be available until 9:00am. I said I'll bring it back around 8:50/9:00am. Then I am told to bring it in at 9:15am because someone is getting a tire fixed at 8:50am (I thought there wasn't a tech until 9am?). I come back at 9:15am, then I am told my car would be ready in a COUPLE OF HOURS... I was offered a discount & an uber cover. I opted out of getting the oil change. Then once I got home I received a phone call that they can fit me in for the oil change! I was so confused because last time I came in it was a super quick and easy process. Laura was kind, and I understood that they were short staffed. But I would have appreciated better communication instead of having me drive back and forth. They could have just called to let me know or cancelled my 8am appointment. read more

Visited this location and was told my Tesla had a run-flat tire that couldn't be repaired, pushing me toward buying a replacement. After doing my own research, I found out my Tesla actually has an acoustic tire -- which CAN be repaired by technicians who know Tesla vehicles. Big difference. Either the staff isn't trained on EV-specific tires or I was given bad information to make a sale. I've since had it handled by a qualified technician. If you drive a Tesla or any EV, go somewhere that actually knows how to service your vehicle. Don't let them sell you something you don't need. read more

UPDATE: I tried wiping down some of the lube TURNS OUT THEY ACTUALLY SMOKED MY RIMS AS WELL AND SCRAPED THE SIDES UP!!! This is INSANE Spent over $1,200 on four new tires plus a warranty at this Big O Tires location and left disappointed on two fronts. First, the vehicle was handed back with mounting lube smeared all over the tire sidewalls, none of it wiped off. I have photos of all four. For a four figure job, taking a few minutes to clean the tires before delivery should be basic courtesy. Second, and more concerning: when I picked up the car, the tire pressure warning light was on. I was told it would just be reset. When I asked why it was on in the first place, that was the only point they mentioned an issue, even though I had asked multiple times during the process whether everything looked okay and was told each time that it did. I would rather hear about a problem up front than have it surface at pickup. The tires themselves are fine, but the lack of care and the lack of straight answers left a bad taste. If you value transparency and a clean handoff, be aware of what you may be walking into here. I was reassured the light would be off, mechanics didn't communicate - seems rushed and like nobody cared, and they don't... this place probably makes millions each year and is owned by reptiles that sincerely couldn't care less I hate that they have my money already read more

I live around the corner. I work at home. I did not drive my car. But there sits a screw in my tire. I take it back. Nice guy working the desk is gonna handle it. I come back hours later. Now it has fresh knife cuts in the sidewalk. I'd like to talk to the owner again now. He had called me prior asking if I'd come back. I came back and o can say it's going horribly. From new tires and begging to get the right ones on, to going back for rotation and when I leave and drive 2 blocks away a screw has drilled itself straight in. Come back and the side walk is cut like a knife twice in the same spot. Super suspect. Want to call me now and help me Mr owner? Pretty rough go. read more

This shop charged me for an OEM ac unit and put in a rebuilt that failed both times. That is fraud and they would not send the receipt both from the manager and district manager who promised the receipt. Obviously because they didn't do what they said they charged me for. 7 different visits on the same issue and had to end up taking it somewhere who fixed it the first time. My insurance company even said not to take it back to this dishonest shop. If you are smart you can read into these guys. Pretty hard to f up a tire replacement, repairs run, this is the 8th visit and 2nd repair by the same franchise owner. Even their corporate complaint dept was sketchy. Franchise owners hiding behind a once good American brand. Stay away from these guys. Really shame a once good brand turned into this mess. read more

I called in before taking my car to get a tire installed and rotated. When I arrived the person who took my call wrote up the service. My car didn't make it to the bay and they attempted to take my wheels off in the lot. Told me I needed a wheel lock key to remove my tires which they took from my glove box to take driver side wheels off. The tech said to put the wheels back on, gave me the wheel lock back, and told me they couldn't do it because I didn't have the wheel lock. I drove off and came back because they forgot to put the tire I wanted install back in my trunk, then to find out the real reason they shooed me away was just because they couldn't accommodate me. I made an appointment the day before for an oil change . The next day I arrived for the appointment. The person at the counter told me "oh I don't have an appointment for you under your name"- told me they were so busy "mechanics" called in sick-they are not real mechanics. Just were a couple of people doing oil changes. Very unprofessional -told me it would be an hour and a half to two hours So, three hours later AND after he let other people go before me, I got my car in the bay. They proceeded to put it on the lift. I asked them to look for loose wires, they just stood there looking underneath my car, taking pictures of whatever they were doing - very very unprofessional. I don't think they know what they're doing ! I then had to pay $80 just for an oil change!! It is such bad service. I'll never go there again and I used to go all the time because it was very convenient for my family Very bad. Whoever owns this franchise at this particular location should get it together really poor Service. DO BETTER! read more

I went to Big O Tires on Fort Apache Road in Las Vegas expecting basic customer service, but what I experienced was appalling. I walked in and was completely ignored. Not a single employee acknowledged me or even asked if I needed help. Instead, they all disappeared to the back and started talking and joking around, as if customers didn't exist. This place is a joke. If you enjoy being treated like you're invisible and wasting your time, then by all means, go here. Otherwise, do yourself a favor and take your business somewhere that actually values its customers. Big O Tires on Fort Apache has earned my vote for the worst tire shop in Las Vegas. Great service for an unexpected battery change! My mom's car battery needed to be replaced, and I got to the shop about an hour before closing time. They had the appropriate battery in stock and replaced within 45 minutes. The guys in the shop were super friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about all of the questions my mom asked them. Not even sure why I bother here. A complete waste of time. One of my tires was low and I thought OK instead of just popping in and asking them to replace it. It would be more prudent to set up an appointment that way you wouldn't be waiting X amount of hours to have something as simple as a five minute job done. So I showed up two or three days earlier to set up my appointment at 2 o'clock on Monday upon bringing the vehicle here I was told that regardless of my appointment I would still need to wait 2 to 3 hours for a simple plug for all of those unaware of tire plug generally takes about five minutes once the tire is off it's just putting it in water finding the leak and shoving a plug in it not rocket science not a three hour job not even something generally that would take three hours or an hour. Now that I've been told I would be waiting three hours. I'm literally going to drive up the street to any Spanish tire shop will do the plug immediately in for $5 to $20. It's been an absolute waste of time. The courtesy of setting up an appointment is meaningless. So for those simple reasons, I'm giving this a one star. read more

Both times I got quoted an hour and ended up waiting almost 3 hours. All I got was a an apology.
