Awesome food and service. I sat at the bar and didn't have to ask for another drink, I just told the bartender when I was finished. Extremely amazing food and staff, and an awesome environment for anyone. This is definitely somewhere to bring a family or just to come hang out and have a few drinks. We have been to Carson's a few times and have never been disappointed. They have a bar area for hanging out when you're skipping the food, then they have indoor and outdoor seating. Last time we were there, I had the wings, which were meaty and the sauce was spicy (in a good way)! My husband had the Mahi sandwich and said it was really good. Just tried it for the first time. It's dark, the waitress immediately had an attitude because we weren't ordering dinner. Cocktail was lame, the chicken wings were over cooked and the the thin crust pizza was soggy! It was loud and just a huge disappointment. Also, the condiments are served in crappy plastic little containers that they actually charged an extra 50.c for BLUE CHEEZE! NEVER AGAIN at this tacky place! The locals love to tell you how great it is here and at best its ok , they will say whenever I go home or visit Family they go here or there Carsons is no prize , small and packed with some tables outside , drinks are ok and food is 1 star out of 5. Please dont drink and drive anywhere near here cops are all over and they are bad , try and be done by 9 pm otherwise week nights your going to jail. Went Monday night to find this placed totally packed...40 minute wait. Luckily found two seats at the bar which has full food service. Huge plate of Nachos caught our eye as it passed us and was most tempting. On special for $5.00, so had to try. They were really loaded and fantastic tasting. The burgers looked large and come with a choice of sides, so we decided to split one. It was plenty. The black & blue we ordered was cooked to perfection. What stood out was the quality of the meat itself. The drinks were also well made and reasonably priced...in fact everything was. Despite how busy they were the service was spot on and sitting at the bar was fun, will sit there next time...and I expect many next times. This establishment has an upbeat feeling about it. My only question is how have I lived here so long and not have found this sooner? read more

This is my go to place since I live very close. The staff is great. All of the bartenders are fantastic. I have never been disappointed in the food. From salads to Chicken Palermo and everything in between are delicious. They have specials every night. Last night I had blue crab and shrimp cake with asparagus and potatoes. WOW. Stopped in for dinner one evening and ate at the bar with my wife. This place was a home run! The food was great and they had a great selection of wines which we helped ourselves too. Since landing in Florida I have been craving a really good burger - and I've found the perfect place! Just pure burger wonderfully seasoned and perfectly cooked, good cheese, and the best sweet potato fries I've ever had. My partner in crime had the Chicken Caesar Salad and just about melted! The food and service were both so great that we went back a few nights later. Same experience, except that this time I had their version of the Philly Steak and was just as happy. And oh, did I mention that their Sweet Potato Fries are the best I've ever had? So this is my first time here and I got the veggie burger and it was good! Loved it! The server....wasn't so good. Rebecca, was very quiet and not attentive to us. When first sitting down she didn't explain much to us just asked what we wanted to drink and what we wanted to order. We didn't order much and after we finished we waited about 25 min for our check as she walked past us plenty of times and even made eye contact. The service tonight was truly abysmal. The waitress was both rude and inattentive. I mentioned our concerns to the manager and she basically said that the waitress was great and was very dismissive. Finally I called her on it and asked her if she thought I was making it up or something. After that she apologized but it was awkward and the whole conversation was off-putting. We live close and love Carsons Tavern. Even when busy the service is always excellent and food consistent. We went and they were packed and even though no seats at the bar both Bartenders made sure my wife and I had a drink and both of them frequently scan the room to make sure everyone is taken care of. Our waitress is always attentive and the food HOT. I love the barbecue bourbon burger and Portobello sandwhich but have enjoyed everything we have ordered. I sell Real Estate and always tell my out of town customers what a great spot Carsons is and they all always agree. read more

Although I'm not a "foodie", on the occasions I've dined at Carson's, I was most favorably impressed and well sated with a delicious meal, served by an always pleasant and efficient waitress. Tuesday's provide an enjoyable evening of Irish tunes presented by John Lang, an accomplished musician possessed of a vast repertoire of traditional Irish and American songs, ofttimes inspiring a sing-along among the congenial audience. Food top quality and servers friendly and well trained. However, the televisions are so loud that conversation is impossible. Not everyone dining in the establishment is interested in the sports being shown on televisions in the dining area. Business lunches are out as no discussion is possible.
