Well, I had a personal experience with those people,and here is what happe: First, they took so much time fixing my car, I asked other places how long it will take , most of them gave me the same answer, which 6 days earlier! Second, they did not finish their work, there is always something you need to go back to get it! The excuse, we did not get it yet, it's like all other shops can get it on time but they can't! Another thing, they were not professional with me, not even friendly,to be honest , they were friendly when I first got them my car, but when I got in, they were like who cares! Finally, I asked them to send me photos , they took more than a week, and they were pissed of, I don't know! They send me just few, and not enough ! First rate body shop that I have used personally several times (once my fault and the other not my fault). They've taken great care of me each time I have used them and repairs were nothing short of what I expected. When using a body shop you expect it to look as though it never happened. Accident happened on a Saturday, dropped off on Monday then got it back on Thursday. Quick turnaround! My car is a pearl white color and paint matches exactly. No flaws or blemishes to be seen. First, I would NEVER advise anyone to take your vehicle to this shop and if there was a zero star it would be rated that. Especially if you have anything aftermarket. I turned over my 4Runner 8/31/21 after an accident earlier in the month with an uninsured/unlicensed motorist. A brush guard, winch, hood damage, aftermarket headlights, and front end frame damage is what needed to be repair and replaced. Over the course of the next 4.5 Months I was told my car would be done "next week" 4 or 5 times, they increased the total amount of the repair from about 3800 to 14000, and the repair still isn't complete because they cannot even complete it themselves. They have to outsource most, if not all, work. And the work that was done is not even any different that when I turned it in. Unprofessional, incompetent, negligent, no communication, lack of transparency, and above all else it is actually illegal what they are doing. I am seeking legal action and receiving legal council on their business practices as they have broken quite a few RCW's and statements on the attorney general's office of Washington page. If you HAVE to bring your car here, I would use caution and ask a timeline on how long your work will be done. Also, make sure that they actually get a real look at the damage because I don't want anyone else's vehicle being in their care for 5 months for pretty straightforward work. read more

Recently had my car fixed here. My car was hit by an rv. Bo was in charge of my repair. Dropped my car off and picked it up over a week later. Found out they broke my splash guard while fixing my bumper. Called Bo and he did nothing but deflect blame and be rude. Finally he offered to fix it with a used splash guard. Picked the car up again and several days later noticed they hadn't even repaired or painted the inside of the rear passenger door. Called Bo who was rude and unapologetic again and told them I would never go back there again. read more

She was professional from the start. I received an estimate from her in less than 15 minutes. I don't know much about cars, but she presented herself as knowledgeable and courteous, so I trusted her. After comparing another shop's estimate with her, she agreed to match the competitor's rates (which were cheaper per hour by a good 25%). Throughout the process of repair she kept me updated, which I appreciated. She was always direct and courteous, Very professional and not putting on "an act." My car was hit in a hit and run while it was parked outside of my house. This alone caused an incredible amount of stress, but on top of it, my father was in the hospital at the time, so there was a lot going on and my car being hit was the last thing I wanted to deal with. I had it towed here, as they are a preferred location for my auto insurance, and they made the entire experience incredibly easy and painless. I was treated like the most important customer they ever had for a $165 repair. I was greeted warmly when I entered the office and was waited on almost immediately. The lady who came to discuss the repair with me offered to get me an off market part to save me money and was very helpful. I was given a ride home because I was afraid to drive the car without the mirror. I only had to wait for the part to arrive. The repair was done as soon as it arrived. I was called and notified to pick it up and the ladies in the office acted like they were expecting me personally and delighted to see me. When it comes to subjects of insurance + expensive repairs, integrity of the service provider is critical for an easy successful repair VS being taken advantage of. My insurance broker highly recommended CCC so I added them to the bid list. Another shop I got a bid from was Professional Collision north on 99. I chose Collision Clinic Carstar because the service by Aaron during the evaluation was much more in depth and professional. I did have to wait a little over a week to drop off the car, and the turnaround time was 5 business days to fix rear end damage roughly $5,000 billed to insurance. I'm sure that there are other body shops that can do high quality repairs, but Aaron's highly professional and knowledgeable service earned my trust. I am very happy with the end results and I would trust CCC to do a quality job again. read more

I had a minor accident in which the front end and fender seam separated and there were some scratches. I wasn't going to use my insurance, but called them for reputable places in my area. They gave me two, including Carstar Collision Center. I went to the other place first and got an estimate that included removing the front end piece to check a bracket. Expensive! I went Carstar next and was greeted by a friendly staff. Jeff came to assist me with an estimate. He popped the separated seam back together and used some compound and polish to take out scratches. I asked him about the bracket and he explained the pieces would not hold if the bracket was broken. He also referred me to someone who could fix a bad door ding I had gotten. He did all this for free and with a smile! I hope I don't need to have work collision work done. But if I do, I won't hesitate to go to Carstar, and will most certainly recommend it to my friends! read more

I was rear ended and needed a place that worked with the other persons insurance so I yelped some of the options State Farm gave me and went here since it already had great reviews. They earned another 5 stars because the work they performed was flawless, and the time they completed it was less than expected. They also contracted my rental with Hertz and I had someone pick me up when I dropped off my car and hand very minimal paperwork to fill out. I was expecting two days and I got to pick my fixed car in about 30 hours from drop off. They had a carnation on the seat with and a complimentary bottle of touch up paint! The office ladies were very friendly and fast and they had great candy in the lobby! No one wants to deal with car repairs but if you need to get your car worked on I highly recommend this place! read more

For the last 20 years my parents, along with my sister and I, have highly recommended Casrstar Collision Clinic. They have always had excellent customer service and work done has been fantastic. So when I needed to have my car's front bumper repaired after someone with a hitch backed into my car in a parking lot (and then drove away) I had my husband call Casrstar Collision Clinic. The lady that he spoke with sent him a written quote, and a couple days later he called to give her his credit card number and schedule the appointment for a week later on Tuesday. He also gave her the VIN number of the car during the phone call and after looking up the car part she told him that the new quote would be $30 less than originally quoted. On Friday my husband called to see if we could drop the car off on Monday since we don't have time to drop it off Tuesday morning. The person he spoke with asked him to hold for a moment, then Mark came on the phone and was rude from the beginning of the conversation to the end. I have never heard a ruder person in my life. Apparently the lady who gave my husband the quote was fired and Mark said that he absolutely will not honor the verbal or written quote given to us, and that it will actually cost much more. Again with the rude attitude we were told to either take it or leave it and if we don't like it we can go somewhere else. For real. I was in complete shock, I have never had such rude service before and I was certainly not expecting it from this company. I can understand if someone was giving out false quotes and the shop was unable to honor it, but they never called us to let us know, plus the fact that he was so confrontational and never apologized for the situation is just too much. So we will leave it and we will go somewhere else. I will never recommend this place again, and neither will my family. read more

I went in to get an estimate, my car needed a new tail light assembly and repaint on the rear bumper (1993 Honda del sol si). I chose them for an estimate because they were within walking distance of my home. After talking with Pemco, I found out they were a preferred shop under my insurance. So I figured, why not go with them. The staff is friendly courteous and accommodating. The work was better than expected and the paint match was perfect and the detailing was a pleasant surprise! She looked great! ! ! There was even a long stemmed Carnation waiting on the passenger seat! Fair price even though Pemco picked up the tab. I would definitely consider using them in the future, sure hope I don't need to.... ; ) read more

I recently had the bumper replaced on my Subaru Outback. They were able to schedule the two-day work to start the day after the estimate. The final bill was about $100 less than the estimate. The workmanship seems flawless and the paint match is great. My car was cleaned and they mixed a bottle of touch up paint for me. That and the two carnations left on the front seat were a nice touch. I was referred here by a friend after getting rear ended on the freeway. The entire process of getting an estimate to car drop off and pickup was pretty seamless. I was quite impressed with the service and professionalism I received from my repair advisor and the front desk staff. I was also surprised how quickly they got the car back to me. Where they fell short is in the quality control department and the indifference of management when customer concerns are brought to their attention. After taking possession of my car I immediately noticed my bumper was slightly out of alignment on one side. I decided to let that slide as it is an older car I likely will be replacing in the near future. Several weeks go by when I realized my tire cover in the trunk was missing and upon inspection I see several broken trim panel retainers laying inside my trunk (I realize these plastic retainers are cheaply made and can easily break when being removed but it would've been nice if they replaced them instead of just throwing them inside my trunk like its a waste bin). When I went back to retrieve my tire cover I brought up the fact my bumper looked out of alignment to the manager and instead of offering to fix it she basically said the installation was done correctly and she wasn't sure why it looked out of alignment. As far as I'm concerned the repair done was just not up to par as my bumper was perfectly aligned prior to the accident. I also never got much of an apology for the Inconvenience of having to go back and ask for a part that should've been put back in the car when they finish the job. Overall I felt they did a sloppy job. Makes you wonder about the rest of the repair that are outside of visual inspection. read more

I went to Carstar in Edmonds on the recommendation of my Mother, who had gone there before. She had put a lot of time, as she always does, into researching and getting multiple estimates before. And ended up deciding Carstar was the best place. So I went with that. I had a dent in my bumper from a parking-lot. I thought the customer service and work were OUTSTANDING. They could not have been more friendly. The car was done 1 day sooner than projected, and the cost was as estimated. It looks nice. Their waiting room, unlike most, is fun and relaxing to hang out in. Coffee, water, lots of magazines, a TV, and comfortable chairs. JD called and gave me an update after 1 day - which was really helpful. I needed a rental car and they were on top of arranging that no problem. Everyone at the front desk were very nice. All staff I dealt with friendly and professional. Upon pick up they had washed and vacuumed my car, which I hadn't expected but was wonderful. They left a litter bag and a couple of flowers in the front seat too. And put a nice clip on my keychain. To me, they treated me like I was at some sort of high-end resort almost! I did not realize what a difference a body shop can make. The experiences I've had in the past were nothing like this. My (beloved) Volvo S-80 was crunched and it came back to me on time, under quote, clean inside and out and smelling like new! To top it off, my paperwork came in a packet with a red carnation on top! Needed some body work repair after an auto glass company gouged the A Pillar on my Lexus ES 350 when they either removed the OEM windshield or installed the aftermarket one. Collision Clinic was highly recommended and I can see why. They explained what work needed to be completed and even provided me with a thorough analysis of the process. I was very impressed with the level of professionalism and customer service received. They even handled all the paperwork for me as they are a direct biller to my insurance company. Got rear ended in my brand new Passat two weeks after I rolled from the dealer's lot. Took my car over to Carstar collision clinic. Read lots of good reviews, also friends highly recommend it. Heidi Black and Boe Messet was working with me, they were very nice and professional people. Jeremy Turner came over and did estimate for my car and told me that we needed to get original OEM parts for my car and not some after market bad quality parts. Yuri was the person who worked on my car. Very professional and organized person with lots of experience. My car was very well taking care of. Washed and vacuumed after all repairs was completed. A few days later, when I picked up my car, it was brand new again! I don't normally write reviews, but I was very happy with service, so I took a few minutes of my time to write about this shop.
