The people who work here really went above and beyond for us, even though we didn't spend a dime here. Our car was heavily damaged on our summer family road trip by a motorcyclist who ended up totalling our vehicle. When we got back AAA recommended Glendale Auto Body, which I think has been honestly the only great thing they've done so far on our behalf.. Glendale Auto Body was very clear about all of our options and told us they would help us out in any way if we decided to go ahead and try to repair our broken car. When it became clear the damage was over $10k for a car worth $18k we knew we weren't going to be able to proceed. They told us they would help get our car back to AAA (who is giving us issue after issue) and that they were there for us if we needed them. They did a very sloppy job on my car, they didn't assemble the parts correctly, there's big gaps between panels and some parts are missing whilst other parts are clearly not new as they are supposed to be. Totally disappointed with this place, I called to tell them that the job wasn't what I expected to be and they told me to bring my car back after it was there for 2 months. It should have been perfect from when they told me it was ready, they clearly don't have a quality control staff that guarantees that they deliver what the client expects. I also had some nails on my tire from when they were working on my car that I had to pay extra to fix, I had a digital tire pressure gauge underneath my car seat and it was missing. They charged about 4-5k for labor alone and it should have been an excelente job. Do not recommend. read more

To give a 5 star rating on a review, it is something I don't do on a regular, but it is important to give credit where credit is due, and I think you would agree if you had my experience with Glendale Auto Body shop. They really earned it. I got in a car accident three weeks ago. The other party hit my car on the driver passenger side door. I knew I needed a good body shop. But I also need one that not only does quality work but was able to help me navigate insurance claims, rental car, and all the ins and outs so I can still work and take care of business and family. I wish I can say that I went to them first. I initially took my car to a highly recommended local auto body shop only to realize that as sweet and friendly as they were, they just didn't have the bandwidth or means to "work" with me or communicate what was happening and I remembered Glendale Auto body shop on my insurance recommended list of shop and that I may have worked with them many years ago when I had my old car so I took a chance and called them on that early Friday morning and asked if I can bring my car to them. It was a long shot especially since my car was already inspected and estimate issued. From my first calls answered by Bagner and then Tatiane to Edmond, who was the assigned rep for my insurance group, I was met with such kindness, compassion, and assurance. It was evident that this was not their first rodeo, but they also were not too remove to remember how it feels to be on the side of being in an accident and needing help. It was a Friday after all and to switch to another body shop after estimate was done was no small feat but they responded with such professionalism and the transfer was done so seamlessly. Edmond knew exactly what was needed to coordinate with the insurance company, what needs to be done both paperwork to inspections to fixing the car, all the while keeping in mine the need to getting me back in my car as soon as possible in order for me to return my rental car. The days/week after my drop off I was kept updated on all the major milestone. Edmond understood and patiently worked with me, taking the time to explain the process to me and managed my expectations. He and the shop did not disappoint. My car looked better than I took it in even before my accident. The wash and detailing of my car after the work was done was not just a nice touch but such a mark of excellence. And did I tell you that the estimate was much lower than the first estimate at the other shop? Even if my insurance is paying for it, you want to make sure you are working with a shop that delivers on value, quality, service. Edmond and the team turned what was a very stressful situation, bad situation to a delightful one. I am so grateful to not only get my car back looking good and in good working order, but that I met some really good folks here. If I can give this auto shop zero stars I would. Came in for a catalytic converter repair. I understand that this process is super difficult and very hard to manage but the way it was handle was completely unacceptable. I had came in initially with the high hopes. I had called in before be bringing in my Prius, and the workers seemed very helpful. However, open arrival I was greeted by a coworker who was super nonchalant about my situation. Over the phone, they had said they can get it fixed within a couple weeks, come to find out they said it would be up to 3+ months upon arrival. Red flag. This hit me hard and I was starting to get upset because over the phone they had something completely different, and then resulted in another resolution. Ed finally took the case and gave me false hope. He said he would take care of it and call in different places to see what they could do. I was assured that he would do whatever was possible to try to get my car fixed. Cool, I was pleased with that. After all the alternatives were completely scrapped and WAITED ALMOST 2 MONTHS just to call and find that that the catalytic converter was nowhere near being delivered was was absolutely a WASTE OF TIME. Not only was my time wasted, but Ed was extremely rude and even said "why don't you try selling the car" like boooiiiiii would you buy a Prius without a catalytic converter? What kind of resolution was that?! and proceeds to tell me "do you know where to get a catalytic converter" like sir, if I knew a place I wouldn't have had my time wasted, also DO I LOOK LIKE A MECHANIC that could get a catalytic converter? If your shop is struggling to bring in cat converters, how do you think I could pull one out of my a**. Not only was this the most condescending response, but he kept sighing over the phone as he was frustrated and was very sarcastic. I should've been the one feeling frustrated, but because I was trying to work something out and did not want to come off as rude , I kept my chill. Luckily, I was able to ask around and conduct my own research and finally transferred my car to a different dealer that got it fixed with the ORIGINAL part within a WEEK!!, in comparison of getting my time completely wasted for nearly 2 MONTHS Note to employees: if you feel as if the you are unable to handle the case appropriately, and acknowledge that time is being wasted, please let your customers know right away. If I had not taken matters into my own hands after feeling that it was taking too long, I would have been waiting for who knows how long. I highly recommend that you bring any auto body work to GAB, not only for a professional job, but a fair and reasonable price too. Mine was a simple repair to replace the rear fender flares on my 2022 Toyota 4runner. I did my due diligence and got 3 quotes. The first body shop recommended going to the Toyota Dealership, since they had to order the part from them anyways. So, I first went to a local dealership, and they gave me a quote with parts and unneeded labor, so it was much higher than expected. I then went to Glendale Toyota which recommended GAB. The person that assisted me, Steven, was great. He explained what was needed, the cost, and when it could be done. The cost was so much less than the other dealership, it was laughable. Anyways, after placing a deposit down, Steven got the part ordered and painted. I then scheduled to come in and within a half hour, it was complete. He said it would take longer if I wanted the car washed for free, but I was fine. I still recommend you get 2-3 quotes, but include GAB in this as I was highly satisfied by them. read more

I was extremely insulted by the way I was treated at Glendale Auto Body and decided to not forward with their services. Ed told me that he would handle my claim and to show up for my estimate. When I got there, he had no idea who I was, and told me that he wasn't prepared for me to come in. When I told him that he had reassured me on the phone that everything would be taken care of and ready to take me to the rental car place to handle getting my car fixed, he asked if instead I had made those arrangements. When I reminded him what he told me last week, he said to me: "You had a whole week to think about that and prepare for this and you didn't do it. You don't want to be helped, and you don't want to help yourself." On top of being misled and chastised by Ed, he told me that since I was having trouble getting a hold of the claim number for the responsible party's insurance, the insurance "Probably different exist" and that "I would end up having to pay for everything. You're f*cked." An extremely disempowering experience, escalating an already stressful situation. Needless to say, I left and am seeking help elsewhere. read more
