The work done and the warranty was great. What's wasn't great was telling me it would cost only $500 to fix my rear bumper and paint it. There isn't a single shop that would fix my rear bumper and paint on a Mercedes Benz AMG. Last time my front bumper cost $2000-$2500 and it was a minor fender bender which was done at fix auto an AAA certified place. Based on their shady way of trying to rip me off I wouldn't go back here again. Their pricing doesn't match to what they say they would charge. If you want good work come here if you want honest service don't come here. The guy thinks I'm stupid or something but nobody would only charge $500 to fix repair and paint my entire rear bumper and blend it but I wouldn't recommend anyone to come here unless you like shady business. I feel like I'm owed $1,500-$2000 but they were just trying to come up. read more

TLDR: They lied, paint is good. Save your frustration and find a different place. I came here because I was involved in a fender bender. I was rear ended, and my rear bumper needed to be replaced. Upon bringing it in, I showed the person that there were two tabs that were broken on the bumper. I also informed them of the broken clips on the bottom of the bumper. I was assured that I was going to receive a new bumper. Upon completion, I arrived to pick up my car. I noticed the gap from the fender to the rear quarter panel on the driver side seemed a little wide. But I was told it's normal. They also told me that they had installed a brand new bumper. I noticed a great deal of clear coat drip on the rear bumper. They said to let their detailer take care of it. He returned sometime later and I inspected the exterior of the bumper. The paint looked good. I had no complaints about the paint. Fast forward some time, I had some work done to the car and they removed my rear bumper. Come to find out my rear bumper was the same bumper that was involved in the fender bender. The tabs on the side were still the same broken ones, the clips used were all different and they double sided taped a wire meant for my tail lights right over the exhaust. Seems someone was lazy and did not see how the wire is supposed to be ran. I'm so happy my exhaust never melted the wires. ABSOLUTELY NEVER GOING BACK AND WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THEM. read more

If I could give 10 stars I would. I can not recommend this place enough. I worked with Cameron who was so helpful from the beginning to the end. The reason I brought my car in was because someone scrapped the back and side of my car, and what could have been a really stressful process, I have never felt so relaxed and confident in a company that I knew was being honest in all that they were saying. Thankfully I haven't been in many "car accidents" so the process on how to go about everything is not something I know, and Cameron walked me through the whole thing on what I should do, what I should ask and helped take care of everything. They have a logo in the office that says, "Relax, we'll take care of it" and man did they. Cameron spoke to the man that hit my car and went in full detail of the whole break down of why it was a certain $ amount & then called me and spoke with me for over 45 min to make sure I knew what was going to happen next. I was going out of town over the weekend and by the time I got back, Cameron let me know he took care of it and insurance paid for it and in 1 day after returning I got my car back. Obviously I never hope I get in an accident again, but if I ever do, hands down am taking my car here. I have tons of community and can't wait to refer everyone I know to them. Cameron helped me on Monday to get an estimate on my Toyota. The left side of my front bumper was coming off and the fender liner was ripped. Comparing the prices with its next door neighbor, it was cheaper than I thought. Came in on Thursday to get it fixed and waited about an hour. They fixed my end bumper too which was held up by duct tape! Amazing and friendly people. However, I noticed one of the employees talking about me to another employee. My Mercedes S-Class was hit on the left rear quarter panel, right rear quarter panel, and right rear door. Carstar McLaren Auto Body took on the incredibly difficult repair and they absolutely nailed it; the body lines are perfectly straight, and the paint match is perfect! The color of my car is the probably the most difficult color to match out of all of the available colors Mercedes offered on my particular model. The owners of Carstar McLaren Auto Body, James and Mary Davis are kind, professional, and have gone more than above and beyond to make me a happy customer. My car looks fantastic, and I have a very well trained eye for paint and bodywork, as I am also in the automotive industry; you could probably say I am one of the most difficult customers to please, and I don't think anyone would disagree with that statement! got my car repaired there due to some front bumper. Took about a month to get my vehicle repaired. I was a little upset but I'm like, this is the end, so I'll never have to come back here again right? I look at the car, paid my deductible, drove off, and it immediately had an issue. had issues driving. had to drive back and return the vehicle. took 2 days to repair it. also, 3 days later, a random piece of the bumper fell off. They had to order another one. 5 days later, my muffler randomly fell off. THREE TIMES IVE BEEN BACK TO THIS PLACE AFTER HAVING MY VEHICLE REPAIRED HERE. Where to begin. I was reared ended in May of this year and the driver who hit me had terrible insurance! This insurance company was so terrible that most repair shops refused to work on my car because they've had poor experiences with them in the past. Worst customer service I've ever experienced. Took my car to fix my fender and right off the bat Brandon was unpleasant. He gave us an estimate and we went through with it because although he was rude, he was straight forward with the price. The day we dropped off the car (a couple weeks later) my father asked him if he could reprint the recite because it didn't subtract our already paid deposit, but Brandon told us he didn't want to waste his paper on two more pages. When he stubbornly printed out the paper again he rudely threw it on the table. He also made it incredibly hard to communicate due to his boastful and impertinent tone when we asked to make sure the color of the paint correctly matched the color of the car because it was metallic. Additionally, he never called to tell us when to bring the car in, we had to call ourselves to find out it needed to be dropped off in three days. Initially going in he seemed entitled, ill-mannered, and unpleasant with his attitude. At the end of the day we decided to not get our car fixed because of this awful customer service. read more

All I can say is, ask for Cameron! Amazing customer service. I was in a pretty bad car accident in early August in my new 2019 Mustang and was worried about the longevity of the car afterwards. There was transmission damage, brakes, tires, headlights, and so much cosmetic work. My insurance recommended Carstar and Cameron was my main point of contact. He kept me updated throughout the whole process and made an stressful situation, seem a lot smoother. I took my car here after getting rear ended and they provided excellent service. While other body shops said they could only schedule a repair for a month out, CARSTAR McLaren scheduled my repair for the next week. They repaired my rear tailgate beautifully without having to order additional parts, which would have taken months. I also had a scrape on my right side bumper and a scratch on my fuel cover that they buffed out for free saving me a few hundred dollars! I worked with Joseph Lara who provided friendly and helpful customer service. He explained the repair process in detail and offered to first see if the scrapes on my car could be fixed for free before charging for any additional body work. Second time here for accident-related damage. Same van but this time im not sure why quality degraded and took much longer than estimated. The paint was so thin on my front bumper you can already see that on the top edges where the bumper touches the finder is already scrapped off and can see the black primer under it. Also it was completely missing the front diffusers in front of the radiator. I'm still waiting on a call regarding this to be fixed. My insurance adjuster stated they should be able to fix or remedy these issues. I hope they get everything fixed. I feel my van was not repaired to the quality of what I am paying for through insurance. Customer service is always on point but they may have slipped on trying to contact me back about these issues. read more
