They also were very great at keeping me informed of my status and expected time to pick up my baby. When I picked up my car, I did notice something a little off and they were amazing to take care of the minor fix. My OCD would've gone nuts if that minor detail was not fixed. I was able to have it corrected very promptly and with such responsive care. If I ever need any auto body for my car (fingers crossed not ever), I will absolutely come to Foothill Auto Body!! Throughout the process, one of the owners who was overseeing the job (Ralph) kept me updated with both texts and pictures. He called me a few times to check in on the process and I really appreciated knowing what was happening and having an accurate understanding of how long it would take. We got our car back ahead of schedule and it's absolutely like brand new. They even detailed it for us and left us a new air freshener and mints! While we kinda knew it would not be worth the repair, my sister was able to give our mom the 2017 Chevy Volt. So we brought that in to be checked for oil change and any other issues while finding out the issue of Hyundai. We end up finding out the Hyundai was not worth the repair because it would've cost over the car value and they found out the motor issue was passed the warranty through the dealer. Also, they recommended us to use Pick Your Part to be sold to which went smoothly and quickly. That was awesome! We were able transfer all items from Hyundai to Chevy. We found out the Chevy was in great condition and gave us a detail report of it. They did an excellent job taking care of us and went above and beyond. I went to this auto shop to get a second diagnostic on my car after my original mechanic replaced…read moremy transmission for $4,200. I was referred to this shop by my son-in-law. When I picked up my car from my original mechanic after the transmission was replaced, I noticed it was making strange noises, felt very sluggish, and lacked power. I went to Green's Auto Shop and spoke with Jim, who told me the mechanic wanted to keep the car for about 10 days to perform a thorough bumper-to-bumper inspection. Jim later reached out and explained that the transmission was slipping badly, the engine fan was loose and causing the rattling noise, and the strumming noise indicated additional repairs were needed. I explained to Jim that I had paid over $4,200 to my original mechanic for a used transmission. He informed me that if I had come to him first, he could have installed a brand-new transmission for about the same price. I am very disappointed that I spent so much money only for my car to have the same problems--and even more. I truly appreciate Jim and everyone at his shop for helping me.
