We originally brought in my mom's vehicle 2013 Hyundai Elantra to see what issues it was having since it broke down while on the freeway. While we kinda knew it would not be worth the repair, my sister was able to give our mom the 2017 Chevy Volt. So we brought that in to be checked for oil change and any other issues while finding out the issue of Hyundai. We end up finding out the Hyundai was not worth the repair because it would've cost over the car value and they found out the motor issue was passed the warranty through the dealer. Also, they recommended us to use Pick Your Part to be sold to which went smoothly and quickly. That was awesome! We were able transfer all items from Hyundai to Chevy. We found out the Chevy was in great condition and gave us a detail report of it. They did an excellent job taking care of us and went above and beyond. Had an excellent experience with Jason at G-Tech. I'd been gathering quotes on brake replacement and went in for an inspection. Jason showed me the bad ball joint on the front drivers side and let me know from a safety stand point as well as financial, the ball joint should be replaced first. This really helps me plan and save for necessary repairs. None of the other shops caught this problem at all or maybe because I'm retired, I've got SUCKER written on my forehead! Before I Even start. DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR ANYWHERE ELSE! TAKE IT TO GTECH I cannot say enough good things about this place. Jason helped us out and let me tell you they know what they are doing. We brought our 2002 Lincoln Navigator here after being referred to them by an autozone manager and reading the reviews. we already put over $6000+ on this car after all of these run arounds from Aamco. (Aamco wanted to charge us $4700 extra dollars to replace 2 things that didn't even begin to fix the problem.) Jason and his team were thorough. Our car had a problem with overheating. we couldn't go over the Cajon pass or even up mountains which our normal driving routes. We bought this car in January and was told this car was good to go, but we had major problems with it. out of all the things that everyone else missed, Jason found our problem our radiator had a pin hole leak in it and wasn't holding pressure. We are back on the road thanks to all the hard work that these guys put in! I moved from San Gabriel to Upland a couple years ago but kept going to my mechanic over there since he provided great service. I finally decided I should find another one closer to home. G-Tech has a perfect 5 stars and I honestly wish there was like an extra gold star or something that could highlight them more on Yelp. Communication was excellent and I never felt pressured or like they were trying to upswell me on something I didn't need. They took care of my oil change, topped off fluids and did a general inspection of the car (which was all part of my oil change, not an extra request that I made). I got a call from Jason who let me know the oil change was done and I was advised that a couple of my other filters were dirty and needed changing, but he told me that was up to me and if I didn't want to get them changed I could just pick my car up. I opted to get them changed since I know it's been a while. Jason also let me know that my brakes were still good but I should check them in the next couple oil changes and see if they need replacing. Very friendly and knowledgeable with extremely reasonable prices. I'm glad that I have a mechanic I can trust close to home and I plan on making them my regular mechanic after the outstanding service I received today! I brought my Jeep here a few weeks after purchasing it from a used car salesman. There was an odd "squeal" when I would drive around 30-45 MPHs. I brought it by, the manager got in my Jeep and drove around the block with me, and gave me an incredibly honest and fast assessment. He said it was one of two things, and asked if I was still under warranty. When I told him it wasn't he was even more honest and told me to bring it to a dealer and see if warranty could look further into the issue, so that I could save money & possibly get a much cheaper repair. I ended up getting the service done elsewhere- and it was exactly what he thought it might be. I was really impressed with his honesty and openness to drop what he was doing and just take a ride with me (which he offered to do- I didn't even ask!). 6 months later we brought our out of warranty Range Rover to his shop for a pretty expensive repair. We didn't bother shopping around for rates because we knew this guy would be honest with us. They took care of all the required service in just a couple days, and gave us a complimentary car wash. This place will be our family's mechanic for as long as we live in the area. We're very thankful for our experience(s) here, and this mechanic has our trust. read more

Jason is a total life saver and I hope he opens more shops closer to LA! Literally planned on doing a handful of errands until my cars radiator blew and the entire front of my car was covered in thick smoke. It is was so bad that, when I pulled up next to AAA store across G-Tech, an associate came out and asked if I was okay and if I needed a tow immediately. Thankfully I used my card and was able go to the shop across the street. Jason gladly asked how he could help and looked up a radiator replacement right there on the spot. THE BEST! I don't know where to even start. My wife and I were on our way from Joshua Tree, CA to just North of Los Angeles in our 1991 GMC Suburban when we felt a shutter while accelerating in the fast lane. We travel for work and sleep in the Suburban sometimes so it was completely packed with our equipment and bedding. We continued to feel the shutter while accelerating just as we were passing through Upland. We pulled off the freeway and started looking up auto repair shops. Being an older vehicle, we've had quite a bit work done and have visited more auto shops than we care to admit. We found G-Tech through google and we are so freakin happy we did! I called the shop and Jason answered. From the first hello, I could tell Jason was a solid dude. He told us to bring it in, no problem and they'd take a look for us. We dropped off the Suburban for diagnostics and transferred our supplies into a rental. Jason called me back shortly after and let me know what Rudy (A shop tech) had found out. Unfortunately the transmission would need to be rebuilt. He said he figured I'd want to take it to a local shop in Joshua Tree and when I asked him how much I owed for the diagnostic he said "No worries brother." I was pretty blown away by his kindness, since our work trip was already off to a pretty stressful start. I knew then that I wanted to have these awesome, kind, and honest guys working on my vehicle. I asked if they would be able to the do the repair and Jason pretty much said "I got you". We were able to leave the Suburban at the shop as we continued on our work trip. Jason kept me up to date every step of the way through out the repair(s). He called up not one, but two transmission specialist that they partner with and got me quotes to compare. He also sent photos of every proposed repair and explained thoroughly the issue and repair process. I gave the ok and he took care of it. There were more issues that popped up (per usual for an old SUV), and Jason always asked what I'd like to do, got me a quote for everything and sent photos. I had absolute trust in Jason, Rudy, and the rest of the G-Tech automotive staff. The completed all the repairs and called me up once it was ready. I have to Suburban back and it feels better than ever. Not only did they alleviate a lot of the stress that comes with dealing with car issues on a work trip, but they also gained an out of towner's business and trust. Although there are plenty of closer shops between Joshua Tree and Upland, I won't be taking the Suburban anywhere else.
