    Had a couple of parts I wanted to install on my truck but required a lot of work, talked to my man Jason and he took care of the installation in a just a couple of hours, took an appointment, we went through the parts and how much it would cost all before installation. Excellent work to Jason and his team. Highly recommended!

    Took my car in for brakes, they were grinding and squeaking bad. Greeted by one of the owners, Guadalupe. Knowledgeable and concise; I didn't feel pressured. Jason broke everything down so I can come back if needed to get the rest of what needs to be done. My neighborly automotive professionals :D

    Jason is definitely hands down a very friendly and responsive with a great attitude This kid is on top of his game and very knowledgeable on any car issues!     A big shout out to Jason for accommodating my Big Bertha.. i highly recommend them to everyone. I will be returning for any other work that she would need. There are very few honest auto places anywhere, but G-Tech are one of those few. That's why I will drive out there from Commerce to Upland to have my car service. Hakuna Matata right Jason? He and the owner were always friendly, helpful, and never made me feel pressured. That's why what happened during my most recent visit was so disappointing. I stopped by to have air put in my tires--nothing more. While checking them, the employee noticed a nail and told me he could patch it for $45 plus a tip. That immediately seemed excessive, as tire repairs are typically much less expensive. I politely declined and said I'd discuss it with my husband before making a decision. As I was leaving, he stopped me and told me I needed to give him a tip because he had put air in my tires. I was completely caught off guard. In all the years I've been coming here, I've never been charged for air, let alone asked for a tip afterward. I could understand paying for an actual repair or service, but putting air in tires is something many shops do as a courtesy. To avoid an argument, I gave him $5, but then he told me it wasn't enough and that he deserved more because of the labor involved. At that point, I told him to call his boss because the entire situation felt inappropriate and unprofessional. It's a shame because this used to be a business I trusted and recommended. If this is now how customers are treated, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I only hope that $5 was worth losing a loyal customer.

I had an appointment last Thursday at 9 a.m., and as soon as I checked in they got started right away--I was in and out within about 30 minutes. The staff kept me updated the whole time and gave me an accurate estimated finish time. They installed a new tire, replaced my wiper blades, balanced the tires, and rotated all four tires incredibly quickly. I was really impressed with how efficient and organized the service was. That's exactly how customer requests should be handled. A couple of things I think should be improved: First, technicians should use seat and steering wheel covers. Dirty uniforms can transfer grease, brake dust, and dirt to customers' interiors, and protective plastics have been standard at many shops for years. Second, I understand checking the spare is company policy, but if customers have belongings covering it, please don't place those items especially food on the shop floor. I'd rather be asked first, as I could have told them the spare didn't need to be checked. Overall, quality service, but these small changes would better protect customers' vehicles and belongings.

    I had just arrived in town from a long, 2 Day drive from out of state in a rental car. My tire…read morepopped two blocks from my brothers home. With it being a hybrid rental, no spare was on board. We had it towed here and of course it was just after closing. I intended on following the tow truck and leaving the vehicle for them to take care of in the AM. When I arrived behind the tow truck, there were still some workers finishing up other vehicles. I was inside where they were getting my info with the purpose of finishing in the morning. Again, it was already after hours. I turned around to the manager saying they'd have it done in 10 minutes. I was floored. I was in town for a few days and with family things happening, I did not have the chance to make it back to thank them with treats as I intended. I cannot recommend this place enough. I was incredibly grateful to be back on the road in my rental, so I could continue with my family plans. I made it back to my home state without any further issues. Thank you so much guys!!     Consumer Beware long over due!…read more I would not recommend this shop based on my experience. About 20 minutes after leaving following a routine oil change (first one outsidethe dealership) , my vehicle overheated and I was told it needed a new water pump. Three weeks later, the radiator failed. When I picked up the vehicle, the technician told me someone had put stop-leak in the radiator. That immediately raised questions because this shop had been the last to work on the vehicle when the water pump was replaced. When I questioned it, the explanation changed. Nine months later, the water pump they had installed failed again. At that point, I had the repair done at the dealership instead. Fast forward to our second vehicle. We took it to a different repair shop for a water pump replacement due to age, and they also found stop-leak in the cooling system. The last place that had serviced this vehicle was Sunland for a routine oil change. We never had a radiator leak, yet we're now being told the buildup from the stop- leak in the cooling system is bad enough that the radiator should be replaced before it causes bigger problems. I've since spoken with multiple mechanics, and they explained that stop-leak products are typically used to help seal cooling system leaks. Since neither of our vehicles had a known radiator leak, I have serious concerns about why it was present in both cooling systems. I can't say with certainty how it got there, but based on my experience, the sequence of events has left me with little confidence in this shop. I encourage others to ask questions, keep detailed service records, and get a second opinion if something doesn't seem right.
