Throughout the process, one of the owners who was overseeing the job (Ralph) kept me updated with both texts and pictures. He called me a few times to check in on the process and I really appreciated knowing what was happening and having an accurate understanding of how long it would take. Green Tech Collision in Upland is HANDS DOWN the only place to take your car in SoCal after an accident. They have repaired our vehicles three different times after being in various auto accidents. Their workmanship is so good, I consider it to be better than the manufacturer who rolled the car off the assembly line brand new. So when I say better than new, I mean better than the car was before the accident. They go the extra mile every time. My BMW 128i had been cited for a window tint violation before my accident. Green Tech removed the tint free of charge, so I could remedy my "fit it ticket" as soon as it got out of the shop. Green Tech works very hard making sure your insurance company doesn't take short cuts. Our insurance company wanted to just resurface two damaged aluminum wheels and put those back on the car. Green Tech followed factory repair specifications to the letter so now we have (2) brand new wheels and (2) brand new tires and then Green Tech gave us the old wheels and tires, to use as spares. What other shop wouldn't just recycle or resell those? Then, the owner of Green Tech is awesome at with working complex insurance cases. Our BMW had already been beautifully repaired by Green Tech once before. Then, my daughter was driving it and hit a curb at a very low rate of speed, making a turn after sitting at a red light. No body damage, besides very minor damage to the bottom of the front bumper. It had ZERO engine damage. It had two flat tires and some suspension damage underneath. Our insurance adjustor went to Green Tech to assess the vehicle's damage. He declared it to be a total loss. I was shocked and displeased to say the least. The problem is that these newer high-end cars and now even Ford trucks are being made using aluminum parts to make their vehicles lighter and more fuel efficient. Aluminum parts bend, twist and break VERY easily and are NOT repairable AT ALL. Any damaged aluminum auto parts all need to be purchased brand new and be completely reinstalled. I fought it out with my insurance for (3) weeks and finally got them to agree to fix the car. Without Green Tech that never would have happened. How did Green Tech help you ask? Well, under section # 6 of the Auto Body Repair Consumer Bill of Rights, we (consumers) are entitled to "seek and obtain an independent repair estimate directly from a registered auto body repair shop for repair of a damaged vehicle, even when pursuing an insurance claim for repair of the vehicle." Which means that we, the lowly insured, DO NOT just have to take the word of an insurance adjustor when they tell us that our vehicles are totaled and they are going to keep our cars. My insurance company put up a huge fight, HUGE, making us have the frame measured (which is usually a $1,500 EXTRA expense) when hardy any shops even have that machine to measure a German auto frame, because the machine itself costs $50,000.00. Then our insurance made us also do a partial tear down for the vehicle, looking for more damage. If it was not for Green Tech, I would NEVER have won this fight. It just so happened that Green Tech was the only shop in town that actually had the frame measuring machine for German cars. Green Tech also did the partial tear down and worked with me for three (3) weeks before they ever even got the job and they did this FOR FREE! While the BMW was still in Green Tech's shop, my other daughter got into an accident where she was not at fault, while driving a Convertible Turbo VW Beetle. There are times when you hope a vehicle is totaled, like when you own it outright, have full coverage, aren't at fault and it could be repaired beautifully with aftermarket used parts, for a faction of the price. Now, we were in the completely reversed situation fighting for one vehicle to be fixed that our insurance wanted to total and for our other vehicle to be totaled, that our insurance wanted to fix. And Green Tech, did all of the actually fixing of both vehicles better than new. When you have three young adult drivers in the house under 25, as we do, a GREAT body shop is as needed as a good medical doctor. And finally, I love that they are a "GREEN" shop, hence the name Green Tech Collison. They are as concerned about the environment as I am and they use the best "green" practices employed today in the industry. One last note, they should call the shop the Clean Green Shop, because the place in spotless and I would have no problem eating my organic lunch while sitting on the shop floor barefoot. If you want your car fixed and be as happy as me, where you would sit down and feel so compelled to spend your valuable time writing a review like this, for no other reason than but pure satisfaction, GO TO GREEN TECH COLLISION in Upland. read more

I fully agree, Raymond must be the last honest mechanic on earth and what a great person he is on top of that. Last fall I ran over a rock that I couldn't avoid on the mountain roads going to Lake Arrowhead and in all my wildest dreams could not have imagined the damage that could cause, but, Raymond came to the rescue and 6 weeks later he returned my car to me in good as new shape. He was always responsive about everything that was happening with the repair and kept me welll informed. The most important part was that he took care of all the interface with the Insurance Co. (Mercury) and got everything processed so smoothly I am still amazed. And, a month or so later i discovered something that we all missed in the original repair and he immediately took care of it, both with the Ins. Co., getting the right part ordered, personally taking me to pick up a rental car for a couple days and then finally getting the part installed. Throughout all of it we have become friends, which I would never have imagined with any other repair shop. My sincere thanks to Raymond and his entire crew and staff for such great care. I was in an unfortunate situation after being involved in a traffic scuffle with an uninsured driver two Sundays ago. The driver hit my driver side front tire knocking the side market off denting the wheel well in two different spots along damage to the bumper. My white 2006 VW Jetta literally had a black eye! The car that hit me was black, no pun intended. I was however fortunate enough to actually "know a guy" from my gym and not only did he recommend Raymond and Green Tech C.C. but he took me over to meet him and get an estimate. Not only did I get an awesome estimate but I got a spot on total costs along with the Jetta shinning prettier than the queen of prom night! I actually brought my car all the way from Bakersfield, CA which is like 150 miles away just because someone had referred me to them and they said nothing but good things about them. I had such a great experience here! They fixed the front end of my Brand New vehicle.
