My PT therapist mentioned Montague & Son The Birkenstock Store located in Herndon and yesterday I finally dropped by. Located close to Lotte Plaza and Fair Oaks Hospital, it's a small store but packed with Birkenstock sandals and other ancillaries . I was met entering by a young lady (Ceres?)who took her time to help me decide which sandals would fit and what colors were available (none of mine were so went with second best). She was very thorough, up to the point where another young lady who was obviously a close friend stopped by and then I had her divided attention to check-out. I have my sandals and tried them as directed for an hour first day and the tried the second day. It hurt in the top of my foot and I had to read the reviews to find out why it was hurting. Would have been nice to have been told that by my associate. Not cheap so pay attention in the store. I overheard another associate going deeper into the physical aspects of the sandals so try and see if you can enter, walk around and listen in to conversations to see which associate seem to be most knowledgeable. Hopefully the sandals will break in shortly and I can experience the benefit.

While we were waiting there were two people in front of us using the machine on their own. There was no one from the store helping them. I assumed I could do the same(use the machine). I even asked the people if they were done. When I was asking my husband to take his shoes off a person on my back told me "NO, YOU DO NOT DO THAT" I turned around and told him there was nobody there and the other people were using it. He told me with a hash tone I HAVE TO HELP YOU. I literally thought he was going to tell me to help me understand the results of the machine. The only thing he did was press start and he LEFT. HE LEFT without an explanation or NOTHING. I felt like a person being joked by a selfish guy. NO One in the store said anything. We turned around and left. I took a picture of the people that were at the store and only white people were being helped . I'm sorry but I have to say it, there are stores that are very racist and this is one of them. Customer service is the worst :(

I have since brought in several of my Vogs from boots to pumps and highly recommend this cobbler for the appreciation and care with which he treats my Fluevogs. I don't trust anyone else with these shoes!

I was coming from the Men's…read moreShop at Nordstrom's in Tysons Corner Center, and every part of the experience at Suitsupply in the Galleria was superior. First, the greeter at Suitsupply immediately said hello and explained the process to me (I'd been ignored at Nordstrom's until I asked an associate for help - which is sometimes fine if you're browsing, but I knew exactly what I needed.) Second, I worked with Khalil at Suitsupply, and he was outstanding: his expertise and knowledge around the fitting; his demeanor - not trying to sell me, helping me find what would be the best look for me; his passion for the clothes. Suitsupply also had a wider range of neck sizes - I wasn't sure if I needed the 17", 17.5", or 17.75" (which they had in stock, unlike every other place I'd visited). Third, when I settled on the pants, Khalil measured and marked where they needed to be altered. Alterations were completed in-house, and after 15 minutes or so, were completed to perfection. I tried the shirt and pants on again before leaving (the shirt I bought at Nordstrom's needed to be altered and will be ready in about a week.) I highly recommend the Tysons' Galleria Suitsupply and Khalil in particular - exactly the type of person you want to work with - skilled and knowledgeable, wants you to look your best, not trying to sell you on a garment, and a truly nice person. I'll be back next time I need formal/business casual clothing.

So I and ordered on Jul 3...said it would be 2 weeks...3 weeks later with no notification, I called to ask the status and was told the suit arrived 10 days ago...went in today and suit was improperly made, pants too short and the jacket was still too tight...their response: we can remake the suit and have it for you in 4 weeks! Wedding is in 2 weeks! Now, no suit! Shitty service...shitty product!

David helped find clothes for the wedding and to generally improve my wardrobe all around. I love everything I bought and have even received unsolicited compliments. He put down my country of origin and criticized me personally. " you are dominant " he said which in his orld is "difficult to manipulate.". My appointment with the Wizard of Oz was at 3 pm. The pseudo diva appeared at 3:35 pm without apologies and dismissed my tastes and needs. A bad actor and a narcissistic joke.

They have a good array of clothing and accessories to peruse while waiting on your equipment fixes. They were able to heat mold my boots and insoles as a walk in and even set bindings on my new skis! They're quick to help choose a set of skis to fit your needs (ex: easy vs west coast skiing, strength and skill). Prices are fair and customer service is worth it. Been here a few times and continue to recommend!

Prices were very fair and the quality of his merchandise was top notch. Chris was so kind and patient helping me get the gear I needed. He never tried to oversell me on anything even though he easily could have done so. He walked me around and helped me get everything that my husband would need to stay warm and have an epic time snowboarding. His passion and thoughtfulness shone through. He was answering phone calls, handling other customers and juggling me with ease. Super fantastic. Will come back to Sterling or Fairfax for any future needs. They have a good collection of skateboards, surfboards, and apparel. Pricing is quite competitive. A lot of times I go for nostalgia. The general crowd is middle class really. Mainly Police, Fire & Military customers. The noise level was normal for a retail store. Mainly adults shopping. No kids really. Tara was able to find the bag in a different color which I was fine with to place it on hold for me and honor the price I paid online after showing the receipt. She also pointed out that there were patches that would be included with my purchase (I added a pouch and pants) which was a nice surprise! All in all, great experience from over the phone to checkout. Will definitely come back due to service alone.
