I came shopping for my newborn and found so many cute things and there was a nice sale happening as well. I found a lot of things I needed and I'm glad because I didn't want to wait for shipping. I came with a new Carters credit card and I didn't know I was suppose to activate it before. Horrible customer service. I gathered items to purchase and walked up to the register. There were 4 people at the register but no one wanted to help ring me up. One associate who was on her cellphone even asked another "oh you want me to ring them up?" Ummm yes, I would like you to ring me up. In the middle of scanning my items, the associate felt it was more important to stop scanning my items to have a side conversation with another associate to talk horribly about another customer who returned items before me. After scanning all of my items, I noticed price discrepancies ... so I asked. The associate couldn't answer, rather, again, she decided to have another side conversation. At this point, I decided not to purchase any of my items and called out the associate for not wanting to help paying customers. Her response.... Talking back to a customer, smirking and laughing. Don't shop here unless you want to be treated like crap. read more

This is my favorite children store to shop for my daughter. I've been to all the baby/children stores at Great Mall and this is the only store where I never leave empty handed. They have a wide selection of clothes and accessories. I find that the accessories are overpriced even when there's a sale. I need to buy gloves and socks for my daughter but they are quite expensive here. The clothes I would say are expensive at retail price but if you come on a day where they have a sale, then that's worth it. I like shopping on their website because you can get cashback through eBates and sometimes you can find coupons at www.retailmenot.com. I also like buying Carter's clothes from Target and Walmart because the prices are lower there. I've also found Carter's clothes at Ross. Overall, Carter's is my favorite brand and I always find something whether it's here, Target, Walmart or Ross. I am glad there is an actual Carter's store where everything is Carter because the other stores do not have a wide selection. I really like the zip ups because it makes changing diapers a million times easier. They also sell button ups but I prefer zip ups. I have both button ups and zip ups clothes. The zip ups are fleecey therefore it's super warm. I can't find clothes similar to Carter's at any other store so I now I don't bother wasting time at the other stores, I go straight to Carter's. I wish they had more fleece zip ups with hoodies and the ones that cover feet and hand cuz you know how it can get hella cold esp for babies. I only own one zip up that has a hood and covers the hand and feet but it's Disney brand. I need to find more like that so my daughter isn't aways wearing the same outfit every time she goes out. Overall, I really like clothes from Carter's when the price is right. I love their sales. Whenever I am here, I have no idea who are the workers. I look around and try to find someone with a name tag but I get confused because they don't say hi. The line is always long and there is always only one cashier. The line is hella long cuz people be buying hella shit. Last time this lady was buying practically the whole store and I waited HELLLLLLA long cuz the second cashier decided to go on break. As much as I love the clothes here, I can only give this place three stars because the workers do not say hi and there is always a long ass line. There is a clearance section in the back. Sometimes the racks are messy probably from customers like me who randomly put shit back cuz too lazy to find the original spot. read more

I stopped in here and yes it's a cute store and organized compared to other stores at this mall. But the prices were crazy in my opinion esp for an outlet mall. You can get the SAME EXACT Carter's outfits from target for half the price. I guess if you're not worried about the cost then it won't matter. But it's a No for me. I like to save wherever I can do so and baby clothes are only going to be used for so long. So just a tip for other parents in the same boat. You can find the same outfits on target website and even get free 2 day delivery at half the price :) read more

I go to this Carter's because it's at GreatMall & we're usually always there but besides that I wouldn't go into this place. Sometimes I think their stuff is really overpriced for the style/quality. I usually buy a lot of stuff for my son at H&M and it's alot more fashionable, around the same price (unless Carter's is having a really good sale) and seems to last him longer. And the service here sucks ass. The girls are sooo stuck up it's not even funny. They think they're hella fine or they're hella better than you but wtf?! They're the ones WORKING to accomodate you. Idk why Carter's keeps hiring these stuck up dumb girls. But 3 stars cause I bought a whole bunch of body suits for my son for $1.59 =) Hahaha. I was here over the weekend to buy some baby clothes for my friend's kids 1 year birthday party. I found a couple of outfits for them. The clothes were very cute and were priced very reasonably. The service as average and the staff wasn't super knowledgeable. I though I stood in line toward the front of the registers which was toward the front of the store. One of the cashiers said, the front of the line is toward the back of the store. I moved toward the other side and it seemed somebody just jumped in front of one of the registers and paid. I was one of the multiple customers that voiced our opinion about why they didn't have a sign that told us the lined formed in a certain area. The staff got very confused as one staff member said "I don't know" another said "Corporate is too cheap" and a few other comments followed. I feel they are a little disorganized in this situation. Overall, their staff is not the brightest, their support from corporate is not the best, but the price of their clothes are relative inexpensive. read more

How in the heck are you supposed to move around in this store? The clothing racks are crammed so close together, you can forget browsing if you have a stroller (or god forbid a wheelchair). If you can make it past the Red Rover style of racks, don't even try to pull something off the rack to look at it - the clothes are stuffed on the racks themselves making it impossible to pull off just one outfit without taking 3 or 4 others down with it. We visit this store pretty often to buy outfits for our baby boy and our little niece. They have a very organized showroom, and thankfully, I haven't had any issues with the staff so far. Yes, they are not the cheapest store, but they definitely have some unique clothing for children of all ages. I am also very happy with quality. read more

My husband and I wandered into this Carter's store while we were waiting to watch Borat at the Great Mall theaters. What a great store! We went around ooh-ing and ahh-ing at all the CUTE baby clothes. I was so tempted to buy some holiday outfits for our little putt-putt but given that she's already 13 pounds at 2.5 months, I am not sure what size she'll be in December! They have great discounts and a wide variety of boy and girl clothes, ranging from newborn to toddler. read more

I never a store confirming out of stock items after 2 days of purchase and order confirmation after 3 days of purchase and shipping after 5 days of purchase. Rather than this you can buy clothes on any small site , they will do better service compare to carters. Customer service is worst, they will not respond properly to customer and not that much helpful too. In store service also not that much great. The only positive thing is clothes were nice though expensive but to purchase them you can go to any store like Kohl's , babies r us you will find same stuff. Worst customer service. They do not repond to your calls and we call and ask for the order pick up they rudely say they cnt help us and cut the call. This is the second time tgey are doing this. I have the worst customer service experience at Carter's milpitas inside the Great Mall. One time a girl's denim skirt was wrongly ring as as a girl's fleece pants for return. I called to ask if the item can be found and corrected. Instead of looking into the problem, the sales person told me I had taken my returned item home, instead. This is not the first time I had bad experience with sales person at Carter's Milpitas. I definitely regret doing business with Carter's. The Sales person is # 240154 Fily. Standard Carter's store. As with all Carter's, don't even waste your cash without finding a coupon or catching a super sale. The only thing I really dislike about this store is the lines. Soooo slllloooowwww. The staff always seems a little confused and overwhelmed. The first few times I figured that the staff was having a bad. By the fourth visit, I was pretty convinced that it is just the way this shop operates. This is a heavenly place for any soon-to-be mother (or if you are already a mother) to a newborn. I had came to this store after being disappointed after first visiting The Children's Place at the same mall looking for infant wear. The section at The Children's Place was very small. But here, they had soo much to choose from for newborns. I wish the prices were a little cheaper but I am willing to pay a little more to not have to search elsewhere for the clothing they have here. I am going to have to prevent myself from coming here before I go shopping crazy!!!!!!! read more

My best friend just had her baby a few weeks ago, so like the good honorary auntie that I am I stopped in to pick up a few outfits for the new baby. They were having a huge sale and I was able to buy a ton of onesies for less than $4 each, 2 piece sets were around $6. Everything here seemed to be well made, although I seriously doubt that a newborn is going to be putting his clothes through a lot of wear and tear. This is a great store for parents looking to save a little money, or anyone who has a baby shower gift they need to buy on a budget. The store was really messy when I went in, and the sales staff seemed a bit stressed with all of the shoppers and their kids running around, but I guess that's to be expected on a Saturday at the mall. They seemed to have a lot more options for girls clothes than they did for boys, but I'm told it's like that at just about all children's stores. read more

Prices are great! They have a huge selection for both girls and boys. Very cute clothes that are good quality. Can't wait to shop for my son soon (who's not due until Aug.).
