    "return policy"

Terrible service. For some reason they havent updated the backend to the site so when you type in "express return policy" in google it comes back with "60 days". When I went to return some shoes within the 60 day policy they let me know they couldnt take them back because it was past 30 days... Lady at the Nashville store was rude. Lady with customer support was even worse. You've lost a customer.

Ruben the manager helped me save $210 today I got 6 pairs of chinos he even ordered 3 in my size and had them shipped over to my house

Express is one of my favorite clothing stores, I especially like their shirts. I like the styles and the fit. Service, as expected in retail, is hit or miss depending on the day and who you get.

Since this store is located in the mall there's plenty of parking spaces. The fitting area has more than 10 rooms so naturally there's no lines. The customer service here is fantastic, I had several questions and wasn't left without answer, even if the staff didn't know the answer they'd find out immediately. They were also helpful with finding different sizes of the clothing while I was in the fitting room. The store itself has such a good vibe, mind you it's a bit pricy but the quality and the design of the clothes worth it for sure.

An employee key hanging on the rack inside of the fitting room

Customer service here is a JOKE! I walked inside the fitting room and tried to find an employee but nobody was inside the fitting room. So I'm standing by the registers and one employee was folding clothes I said excuse me and pointed at the fitting rooms and she said you can take any open doors. Okay? So I go inside the fitting rooms and guess what, all of the doors were closed and locked! Where's the open doors? I looked on a rack and saw the employee key hanging over. Did they want us to open the doors ourselves? What if some creepy perv noticed the key and tried to open the doors where women are changing! I found a fitting room and I went inside cause like the employee with a crop black top and a open back said take any open door, so I went inside and I get a knock and I said yes? A different employee says oh sorry but this fitting room belonged to a different customer so can you just hand me the clothes that are hanging? UHHHHHHHHH first of covid, and second HOW DOES AN OPEN FITTING ROOM BELONG TO SOMEONE WHEN ANOTHER EMPLOYEE SAID TAKE ANY OPEN DOOR! After putting on the jeans I was trying on I opened the door and gave the employee the clothes she said thanks and opened a new fitting room door for another person and started opening two other doors for other people wanting to try on clothes. Okay screw me right? Later on both me and my mom were about to start paying and she told the cashier she had a coupon, the cashier saw the expiration and said it expired on august 11th. My mom told the cashier I just got this in the mail on Monday? The cashier said it's expired my mom said I understand that but I received this in the mail on Monday. The coupon is expired. We won't take anything thank you bye! My mom kept telling you she received the coupons in the mail on Monday!!! I swear all of these employees needs to be trained in knowing how to give better customer service

Long line on a weekday at 4pm... what the heck.....
    David W.

Again, more untrained staff not knowing how to return things and putting non-sale items on the sale/clearance rack. Love express, but they gotta stop putting untrained people at the cashier...

The girl in the fitting room was more then helpful and the guy working also was extremely helpful with helping him see what size fit him the best and what would work for his build.

They mainly sell vintage and modern secondhand clothes, bags, and shoes for women and men, but they also have new pottery from a designer called Familiar. The store is spacious and carefully curated. There is no thrift shop smell and it looks more like a cute boutique than a secondhand store. You can sell your clothes there, too. There are two floors of women's clothes and a separate men's shop across a little courtyard in the back. Most of the customers when I was there were young adults of both sexes. The store was busy on a Saturday in the late afternoon. Fortunately, they have a dedicated parking lot behind the shop with plenty of spaces. The staff welcomed me immediately when I walked in. I was interested in looking at purses and they had quite a few vintage and newer ones from designers like Coach, Tory Burch, Kate Spade, and Dooney & Bourke. I didn't buy any, but enjoyed checking out what they had to offer. I didn't pay too much attention to the clothes, except to notice that women's pant sizes on the second floor only seemed to go up to size 11/12. If they had bigger sizes, I didn't see them. Overall, I was impressed with Black and Brown and would like to go back.

It took some time to find items that interested me as I looked through the entire store (two floors for women and one for men). Some items were over priced but you can find some good gems here. The thing I love about shopping here is they seem to always have exactly what I'm looking for. I went in recently hoping to find a blouse for my 70 y/o mom as a gift and found two equally perfect, trendy yet tasteful options. And they both look great on her. They always have my last-minute amazing date night outfit or summer dress. I am pretty much guaranteed to find my next favorite pair of jeans for a steal any given day. A lot of my work wardrobe is from Bombshell. The only "cons" would be maybe the parking (during peak downtown busy hours or farmer's mkt), and I wish they were open earlier and/or later, but it's not unusual for a small business.

I love that it offers a true boutique shopping experience without the boutique price tag, and I can usually count on finding something I love. Unfortunately, my experience today (3/18) fell short of what I've come to expect over the years. When I walked in, I wasn't greeted, which is something I've always appreciated in the past--it really sets a welcoming tone. Jocelyn eventually helped me into a dressing room, but along the way there were several missed opportunities for basic customer service. I was browsing with my arms full, and at no point was I offered help holding items or starting a fitting room, which would have made shopping easier. When I was ready to try things on, I was asked to sort and count my items due to the 6-garment limit. I completely understand and respect that policy as a way to manage inventory in a small business. However, during that process, a few items fell behind the counter and weren't addressed at the time. Once in the dressing room, there was no check-in to see how things were fitting or if I needed different sizes or colors--something I've consistently experienced and appreciated during past visits. I did ask to swap out items, and Jocelyn was helpful and pleasant in doing so. At checkout, the items that had fallen behind the counter were brought up again, and I was asked if I wanted to try them on. Since I was already dressed, I declined, but it would have been helpful if those had been handled earlier. There was only one other customer in the store, who had already checked out by the time I was in the fitting room, so it didn't seem particularly busy. I've always associated Bombshell Boutique with attentive, thoughtful service--being greeted, having items held, and receiving support in the dressing room. That level of care makes a big difference and is part of why I've been a loyal customer for so long. This visit just felt a bit lackluster in comparison. I'll definitely be back, but I hope this was just an off day.

I was approached by a very friendly employee who asked if I needed any help. While I saw items I was interested in knowing more about, I was on a time limit and knew I wouldn't have time to even try anything on. I really wanted to do a quick walk around of the store to see what merchandise they had and to take a mental note. They had a live embroiderer near the dressing rooms who was embroidering things for clients. They also had little mini chocolate croissants with cute branded Sezane napkins near the shoe area. I think I was approached by two employees who were nice and personable. While I did not get greeted by others when I was in their area of the store. This is just a pop-up shop still -- its not a permanent location. There is one in SF apparently. I've been to the one in NYC and the pop-up shop in LA in the past. Sezane is on the higher price point, but I do still love the brand and would love to see more boutiques to visit for an in person shopping experience. I do believe that if you invest in pieces from this brand, they will be timeless, as I still would wear the items I purchased many years ago today.

I know this is the Bay Area, but I'm not about to drop $100+ per piece at a DTC brand without seeing it in person first. (My mom dressed me in clearance JCPenney and hand-me-downs as a kid.) I've been inside this specific store twice and the one in SF once. The day I made my purchase was a weekend, whereas my other two visits were on weekdays. On weekdays, the store is pretty much empty. I think for shopping in store at Sezane, that is the preference. My biggest peeve with both the SF and SJ stores (and I assume this is a feature of all their stores) is the cubby wall. They could have put multiple racks in that space, but instead they have a massive wall of cubbies with a different style in each cubby. They're all folded, and I was told you need to point out an item and have the employee take it out to show it to you. The same employee then has to find your size and refold and put back what was taken out. This is literally the dumbest thing I've ever seen in a clothing store. What if I want to see every single piece? How do I even know what the fabric feels like, or if it's sleeveless, or if it's a sweater? You don't, unless you've memorized the Sezane online catalog and know exactly what you're looking for. I could just feel the employee's annoyance every time I asked to see a new style. I would have LOVED to browse more, but the store was very busy, and I didn't want to be a burden. On the weekend day I finally bought something, there was one cashier and there was a line rapidly building behind me as there was a customer who had some sort of involved issue. There was no backup cashier called (not sure they have that capability), and we all just had to wait. I also really wanted to see some dresses in person, but they barely had any - maybe 3 or 4 styles whereas they have a lot online! The clothes are beautiful and maybe if you are shopping 1:1 with an employee on a less busy day, it could even be fun!
