She let me try on both and there was not one moment where I felt pressured to buy the more expensive one. She just wanted me to purchase the bracelet that I loved the most. Where do you find a sales associate like that? She is the best! I also asked to see some other items and she showed me everything on my list and let me take photos and videos. There was not one moment where I felt rushed. She also takes time to get to know her customers which I really appreciate. There are many places where they rush you in and out just to make a sale. My husband and I had an amazing experience at this Cartier location. We purchased our engagement rings here and must have tried on 20 rings. Well, I did. Call on 2/1: They didn't offer to check real time and instead asked for my name and number. I was told someone would be calling me back within 24hrs. Call on 2/2: I didn't hear back within 24hrs so I called again. I was told the same thing the first time I called, they took my name and number once again and never called back. Call on 2/3: I expressed that I hadn't been contacted on two separate occasions and the store member apologized and assured me that I'd be contacted. She checked my name/number for accuracy and said someone would call me by end of day. This was at 12:30pm. I never received a call back and it's been over 3 days since my last call. We went in looking for a white gold band and asked if we could have it rhodium plated before purchasing it to which Daisy said yes we could get that taken care of. We purchased the band and then we were walked up stairs to speak to the woman at the desk that takes care of engraving the bands etc. When we sat at the table and asked how she could help us I let her know I wanted to get the band we had just purchased 5 minutes ago Rhodium dipped, this older woman with curly brown hair proceeded to condescendingly question me as to why I wanted the band Rhodium dipped almost as if she was telling me I was wrong for wanting to do it. I let her know that I knew it would wear off wanted to add it for brightness and we had jewelers in our family that recommended we do it if we were getting a white gold band. This rude lady proceeded to tell us that she was not a jeweler and still didn't understand why we wanted wanted to have that done. She then tried talking us in to wanting to upgrade to the platinum band instead rather than accommodating us and letting us purchase the service we had asked for. Had she accommodated us we would've happily walked out of this location with the band. However due to the poor customer service and condescending woman on the second floor we decided to walk back downstairs return the band for a refund. My fiancée and I made an appointment at the Topanga Canyon location where we were taken care of and treated like human beings. The only decent person the Beverly Hills location has is Daisy. In my mind, Cartier is more about art and jewelry than precision timepieces but still we have collected several of their watches anyway. On the latest one I adjusted the band myself before I acquired the requisite $200 set of Swiss fine jeweler's screwdrivers and I gouged the screw heads a bit - not even to the level of rendering them nonfunctional not even enough to notice the damage without a jeweler's loop but still on a piece of art like a Cartier watch it was distressing to think about the lost perfection. Cartier came to the rescue and actually replaced all the damaged screws at no charge. Service with a smile for free - could you ask for more? Well yes - you could ask that the watch itself be free too, but that would be only in a utopian society. Not a fan of Cartier's venture into handbags and women's wallets but then I'm not the one who would be carrying one so if the ladies like them - fine. Besides jewelry and watches, Cartier is also superior for perfumes/colognes, lighters (relics from the past when people used to smoke), and eyewear. To summarize: Cartier is in my opinion one of the top three mainstream staples in timepieces amongst Rolex and Patek Philippe. There are of course many other brands but you can't go wrong with Cartier. Friendly environment notwithstanding the 2-3 guards who stand around looking more bored than vigilant. All the workers are very friendly and they greet you with a smile. Both times I came here it was for repair and they took care of the issue right away for me. Although the parking can get little hectic but there is plenty of valet parking you can do around the area or metered parking on the street too. While we were waiting for our repair to take place we were offered either sparkling water or regular water to have. My boyfriend and I drove down here during covid, after he just had surgery to buy me a ring. It was a big ordeal just to get there but he wanted to make me happy. We had an appointment and were 5 mins late because we were outside waiting in line by accident instead of just checking in at the door. Either way, we were there by 2pm The staff was so incredibly rude to us and treated us like trash. At first they wouldn't even let us in, but we explained we were just in the line outside, as directed by security. Once we eventually were let in, we weren't even allowed to browse inside- so what's the point of making an appointment? They also told us we only had 20 minutes inside and they were so quick to get us out of there. I wound up leaving without buying anything because one of the rings I wanted wasn't in stock and I wasn't even allowed to look at anything else. I've wanted to buy Cartier for over 15 years. Came here knowing exactly what I wanted. When I first walked in, I was greeted by Lola before I made it to a display case. I'm glad b/c if no one would've helped me I definitely would've left. I asked to see the Love bracelets and she said of course, follow me. The displays were divided up by color. We just happened to walk to the gold display but I was interested in the rose gold. I noticed that there was a security guard standing near the back (makes sense), but also felt that he was watching me as Lola was helping me. I'm not sure if I came to Cartier or Santee Ally. My husband and I bought love rings, had them for two days and wanted to return them. Both rings were so poorly made they were rubbing against our pinky's- leaving noticeable marks. Once this information was relayed to the sales woman, not one time did she apologize for our inconvenience (or our fingers), she proceeds to tell me that the rings we wore for less than 48hours were "too scratched and damaged" to exchange or return. At this point I haven't been greeted, offered a beverage, and I'm being told I can't return two items that have a 30 day return window. So I ask for the manager. My husband then asks one of the gentlemen, standing behind a counter I might add, if he can bring us some water. He proceeds to say- "That isn't my job." Turns out he was security. Can you believe!!!!? How rude. Then the manager comes over, tells us the same thing the sales associate told us. After coming to terms we weren't getting our money back, my husband says "that's fine- please polish our rings and bring us a glass of champagne." I received a Cartier Love bracelet for my 50th birthday. I put it on my wrist and it's never been taken off. A few weeks ago, 5 years later, it fell off. I immediately took it to Cartier and they told me they would send it to their jeweler for repair. After 3 weeks I left multiple messages and finally received a phone call back. I was told that they had to send it to their Paris store for review. Apparently the hinge needs to be repaired and the only way to do it is to melt down the bracelet and rebuild it. I am usually an online shopper but had a couple of pieces on my wishlist that I decided required trying on in person to determine sizing, so I asked a friend to accompany me to the store in Beverly Hills. Upon entering, they told us to check in with the concierge. While he wasn't unfriendly, he was not super helpful. He told us he will call an SA, then proceeded to ignore us. We were confused if we're supposed to wait around, so we checked back again and he said we can walk around the store by ourselves and an SA will come find us. It was our first time in this store so we didn't know where to start. There were about 10-15 SAs standing around and just us, and maybe one other customer, in the entire store, we walked around on our own for 15 minutes, and literally no one came to speak to us or offer to point us in the right direction. We found the counter with the bracelets on our own, but still not an SA in sight. We asked for help from the nearest SA, and he told us we need to check in at the concierge to get an SA that can help. ‍ At this point, we noted amongst ourselves just how unfriendly and uncomfortable the vibe in the boutique was and were about to leave, "our" SA finally came. She half-heartedly apologized for taking a long time to come to us, and, while she was not completely unhelpful, she did take out pieces I asked to try on, and answered a few questions, she offered us nothing beyond that. Even when my friend began coughing from the dry, stale air in the store, she didn't even bother to offer her some water. Typically, when shopping a luxury brand, you can expect some level of service or professionalism, none were offered to us. There were a couple of bracelets I wanted to get, but didn't know what size I was, the SA just stared at me blankly and didn't offer to size me. I ended asking for a size to try on based on what I've researched on their website. She brought two sizes of one bracelet out for me to try, then I mentioned that there's another one on my wishlist. Nothing. She didn't offer to bring me the other piece to try on at all. At this point, we thanked her (for absolutely nothing), she didn't bother to offer us her card or anything, and walked out. Confused, and completely miffed, by this store experience, we walked to VCA down the street and upon entering they immediately found us an SA, and he was super friendly. Before we even said what we wanted to look at, he sent us to the bar where they offered us refreshments. Even after I mentioned that I wasn't looking for any specific pieces, he still brought out like 10 necklaces and bracelets for us to try on. The service was day and night from Cartier! Actually, this is the kind of service you would expect from all luxury brands, from Cartier! We ended up getting his card and my friend ordered a necklace from him just because of how friendly the service was. I already had an SA that I shop with at this location, but very tempted to buy from him just because of how great he was. My friends and I made a special trip to stop here all the way from across downtown LA. I usually go to Cartier Topanga for my pieces and any service I need, and wasn't expecting the employees in Beverly Hills to be so subpar! First, they have a weird line system in place, and when I went in to the store, they had to finalize which employee was going to help me. I stood near the entrance while they figured things out and then had a rude employee push past me, telling me to not block her way. I was there for just a few seconds! They finally directed me to a sales rep who could help, and he was decent. However, when we mentioned that my friend would need her love bracelet locking mechanism upgraded to the new one, we had tremendous push back. It was very surprising, given that my usual sales associate proactively offered it for one of my older loves. While trying to remove the bracelet, the service rep said several times that she doesn't think that the bracelet needs it. I finally got so fed up I told her that my usual sales associate actually came to me with the suggestion to make the bracelet more secure- why would they try to take that option away from my friend? Then requesting for the bracelet to be shipped back to her address was another pain- they acted like they were doing us the biggest favor- but honestly, I'll never set foot in here again, even to pick up a piece. I have always lusted Cartier! The watches and love collection. My boyfriend had my ring sized at 6 -1/2. We decided European sizes to size up. 6- 3/4. He tried to order it online to no avail. He ended up ordering it on the phone. For about 3900. It slipped right on, I was in awe. I loved the love ring. A bit later it was so tight my finger was numb. I have Hashimoto's thyroiditis and figured overdid the holiday's. I thought I retained too much water.. a week went by. I couldn't feel my finger. He mentioned we had 30days. We took a trip up their from the South Bay. They refused to help us at first. Finally after an hour of "he said she said" and then realizing that the online sizing of 6-3/4 that they apparently don't actually carry in store was not even the size they sent we had a further conversation. The associate seemed to think that a 5 1/2 was a good fit even after i joked that they didn't carry a 6-1/2 and needed a 6-3/4 because I saw that was the closest size online. Can you believe a I wore a 5-1/2 for 2 weeks? My finger was numb every day. Eventually they acquiesced and we got the size that we originally wanted and the ring was amazing. We browsed online and balanced what spoke to our hearts with what was in our budget and, most fortunately, didn't have to compromise. Our Ring Cycle began when our rag-tag touristy group of four guys in shorts and sneakers ages 23-50 nervously wandered into Rodeo Drive's Cartier boutique. We were highly apprehensive, but since my fiancé and I were considering Trinity rings, and Cartier is their sole purveyor, we took a deep breath and entered. The store is extremely elegant, with a security guard right in the doorway. I spoke up and asked for help, which helped diminish our gawking tourist status by half, at least. Stephanie Thomas was our sales contact and also happened to share the first name of the recently deceased mother of my oldest friend in the group, so the occasion became enshrouded with even more meaning for us. She sized my fiancé and me, and wrote down the following on her business card for us: the different types of Trinity rings, their prices, and our ring sizes. Stephanie could not have been more gracious or available to us in a variety of platforms (LinkedIn, email, and text messages at all hours of the day and night). She tracked down a size 70 ring and assisted in a last-minute Roman numeral engraving correction. By the second week of July (a little over two months from our initial visit and a mere week from our actual purchase), our stunningly engraved white-gold Trinity rings were in our hands, thrilling to behold. I've visited this location twice. the first time I visited, I did not have an appointment and was treated so well. I went in to get my watch re-sized and the time adjusted. I was in for about 15 mins and truly enjoyed my experience. every touch point was flawless. the person checking everyone in, my sales associate, and person who took my watch upstairs to do the adjustment. all were men and so gracious and kind. I visited today (a busy Saturday) and was treated like dirt. I was judged at every touch point. Calling to schedule an appointment was very easy. The moment I walked in, the word "return" had everyone in the worst attitude. I had eye rolls from at least 4 staff members. I felt like I was in middle school all over again. Patty was the person who helped me and she was horrible. It felt like I was shopping at Walmart during black friday. the gentlemen checking me in was sassy and so rude. I came into this location in hopes of exchanging my ring to a smaller size as when I purchased it the week prior at South Coast Plaza, I thought it was my right size. I came during lunch break from work without thinking of calling ahead to check for my size and was approached by an Asian lady. I didn't get her name but I wish I did. I told her my situation and was specifically looking for a size 50. She informed me there are no 50's available anywhere without really checking with anyone or the computer. I told her I bought mine from South Coast and advised I can call them to see if they have it and if they didn't they can gladly do an exchange for me online...... where they probably would give me a label to print and ship back? I'm clearly closer to this location.. didn't offer to check for me if South Coast did have my size, didn't offer to order it for me so I can come back and exchange here.. nothing. I was left to walk out thinking I would be stuck with my size that didn't properly fit me and had only 30 days to exchange and couldn't afford to drive to the OC. Instead she insisted I call South Coast so they can check for me or give me a return label. I called my SA (love her! She's just so far) from South Coast (much better location, friendlier SA's) and told me they didn't have the size I was looking for but did OFFER to look for one for me and if I wanted to drive over the weekend, she would need to get it shipped in time for me to do the exchange. Upon her looking for availability, she mentioned that THIS LOCATION did indeed have the size I was looking for but only 1. I found out while I was already back at work. I called them multiple times with a helpful gentleman and luckily with Giseley? the second time I called to get an update. She's the store manager, really nice..thank you btw! She mentioned to me that they could've ordered it for me regardless if they had it or not so I didn't have to make the drive. They informed me the ring I was looking for was misplaced and reason they didn't have it in stock but did pull up in the system when checking for inventory. I now had to drive back after work to come pick up the right size I was looking for. My time wasted could have been avoided if A.) she just checked the computer and found out the size I was looking for was misplaced or B.) offered to order it for me so I can come back and exchange it when it is ready. Worst part is, when I came back she ended up having to help me again.. giseley must've been busy.. which is fine and the only reason I gave an extra star cause she was really nice and understanding and did came back to me in a timely manner. I agree with reviews below that they need to hire nicer SA with better customer service skills. They represent such an elegant, luxurious store and really makes the experience terrible with a snotty sales associate. I had better experience at the South Coast location and will definitely rather drive there for any future sales. I and my fiance looking for wedding band and waiting 4:30pm last weekend. At 5pm. One of employee said its time up and folding parasols then crushed my head. But he wasn't apologized and another employee said apolgized instead of him. One of guy was upsets employee's bad attitude. To be honest Me and my fiance was big fan of Cartier but no more from now on. Cartier have to educate employee how to treat their royal customer. Simply put Stan is the man! Walking into a luxury boutique like Cartier is not an every day experience for some of us and it always helps out having friendly and helpful associates to make you feel welcomed. Stan was an awesome and genuine associate that answered every question and assisted with every need I had. I absolutely needed a size 63 Diamond Paved Yellow Gold Love ring for myself and there was not a single one in the states. Originally Stan thought it would take 6 weeks or even longer (months) to get this ring made for me but he reassured me that if he could find it out of the country he would do his best to get it to his location. Needless to say he found the ring I so desperately needed and got it to me in a little less than 3 weeks time. I made appointments on the phone, arrived at the store just a few moments early and was brought in immediately, after a spritz of hand sanitizer, of course. I've had two recent appointments at this store recently, Maureen in service, couldn't have been nicer or more thorough handling two repairs I had for my own item and one of my daughters. I honestly felt that she cares for the customers best interests. Excellent job. I met with Tiffany in sales to look at a few items. I was so happy to sit with her, she is super knowledgeable and great at finding things in the computer. The purchase we made at the store was not a ton of money, but we were treated like we were special. I called her back later in the day and purchased something else we saw there with her.
