    Vodka pasta with chicken

My family has been coming here for a couple years now and it never disappoints. They will do any modifications without a problem. They do a vodka sauce with seafood but I asked for it to be chicken instead. The sauce still had a seafood-y flavor but it was almost like a lobster bisque sauce. I couldn't stop eating it. Their cheesecake is also to die for. Incredibly light and airy. The waiters treat us like family, which makes the experience so much better. I would recommend this place a thousand times over!

Veal Chop special. Expensive but very good!

Food, service and ambiance were excellent. One of the best meals in Mooresville I've had since I moved here about a year ago.

Best upscale Italian restaurant experience in the greater LKN area. Terrific traditional dishes, excellent service, very comfortable dining room, good wine list, and appropriate pricing.

We have been Caruso's fans for years. This review may sound like many others but I have not reviewed Caruso's in a very long time... It was my belated birthday dinner with my family. The evening was perfect and our server Omar made our experience even better. Out of the five of us three ordered to Lobster Risotto which was delicious, one of my sons ordered the Veal Chop and I ordered the Bronzino. The team at Caruso delivered an excellent tasty and well prepared meal experience yet again. Great ambiance for a romantic dinner or a dinner with friends and family... A must try in Mooresville...

This is by far the best restaurant in the Mooresville are by far. The atmosphere is great, the staff is unbelievable and take care of you. Our waitress Lisa was exceptional and accommodating. The chef here is on their game and the food was simply amazing. I cannot praise this place enough and while it was our first time there it won't be our last time.

It has been awhile since we have gone to Caruso's but let me tell you it is still great. We decided to start with the burrata. The tomato was perfectly ripe and the cheese very tender and creamy. We then ordered the figs marinated in Grand Marnier with whipped ricotta. They were so flavorful, tender, and savory not too sweet. I asked for them to add some prosciutto which commented it perfectly. I always appreciate a restaurant open to customer desires! We then had the veal chop special with sausage and peppers. Again very tender and cooked perfectly. We ended with affogato. One of my favorite deserts and Caruso's always nails it.

Hubby and I sat at the bar, and had an excellent meal and service! The bartender was friendly and helpful, and our food arrived hot and delicious. Even though it was a busy Saturday night, it was never noisy, and we felt like we had a private, secluded spot at the bar. We will definitely go back!

I love Italian food and will drive pretty much anywhere to try a high rated recommendation. It's a bit of a drive depending on the time of day and 77 traffic is always an issue so timing is everything. I called in my order of Pappardelle alla Vodka(fettuccini, shrimp, scallops and vodka sauce) and the portion was a decent size and overall it was good not great so not sure I would take the drive again with so many options closer.

This is the second best Italian Restaurant in America. Only a predecessor to the great Farina's in Kansas City Missouri.

Their grilled Caesar salad is large enough to share, with deliciously charred romaine and homemade dressing. We also love sharing the arancini when we are not in the mood for a salad. For entrees, you can't go wrong with their pizza. It's one of our top favorites in the CLT area, as it's cooked in a wood-fired oven, and is both crispy and full of toppings. My husband particularly enjoys the Capricciosa, with artichokes, ham, mushroom, basil, and fresh mozzarella. Their calzones are really good, too. I usually get their lasagna, which is served in a bowl and is made to order. Their bolognese has a complex flavor, and the sauce-to-cheese quotient is just perfect. I always have some leftover to take home. If you have room for dessert, I highly recommend the deconstructed cannoli. It's homemade, and divine. Their gelato is well thought-out, served with a side of espresso to soften the ice cream and add a unique flavor. Presentation is carefully and well-thought out. Service is always good as well, no matter what time of day you visit (we prefer early dinners). We love this place, and will keep it on our "short list" for nearby dining!

The…read moreshopping center offers free parking, but I walked over there from the hotel where I was staying. I was warmly greeted when I entered the restaurant. I was seated facing the kitchen in a booth. I just loved the decor with the bricks, open kitchen, and warehouse ceiling. The wood, beams and bricks were reclaimed materials from Manhattan, adds old world charm. The Easter decorations were a nice touch. My amazing waitress created me a mocktail with ginger beer and cranberry. It was colorful and wonderful. It had some tang to it. The Italian restaurant has Neopolitan pizzas and Italian dishes. It was so hard deciding what to select from the menu. If I hadn't just had shrimp, the shrimp scampi would have been what I ordered. Then there was a lasagna with a bechamel sauce I really wanted. But the pizza won out. My waitress talked me into the salad I was debating, too. The salad was Dolce Crostata. It has mixed lettuce, goat cheese, pancetta, candied pecans and golden raisins. I like the salads with fruit, and this one was wonderful. Novanta means 90 in Italian, which is the 90 seconds it takes to cook the pizza. It goes into the 900-degree Italian wood-fired oven. The pizza was a true Neapolitan with the soft, airy crust and a little bit of char on it. It tasted as good as it looked. I wanted a second pizza after my first slice, but I had trouble finishing the first and had to take half of the salad to go. I did love every bite of the margherita pizza and salad. If I lived closer, I'd eat here weekly as the food is that good. This is a hidden gem.

One thing I really appreciated is that they don't use garlic in their sauces. Instead, they let the quality of the ingredients speak for themselves, which is something you don't find at most fake "Italian restaurants around here. They also use authentic DOP San Marzano tomatoes, and you can absolutely taste the difference. It's amazing how many places overcomplicate Italian food when the best versions are often the simplest. The penne alla vodka was excellent perfectly cooked pasta with a smooth, balanced sauce that wasn't overloaded with garlic or heavy cream. The wine list was another pleasant surprise. The prices are very reasonable, which is becoming harder to find these days. My only complaint is the lasagna. They use ricotta, and I personally prefer traditional lasagna made with béchamel. That's literally my only criticism. What really made the experience even better was the owner. She came over, talked with us for a while, and you can tell she id passionate about what she's serving. That personal touch goes a long way. This is officially my new favorite restaurant. If you're looking for authentic Italian food instead of the typical Americanized version, Antico Italian is absolutely worth a visit.

They do not take reservations, so you have to get there to get on list. Today happened to be a perfect Tuesday evening to go; there was no wait. If she wasnt sure, she made sure to get clarification with any substitutions. Everything we had was very good. Each item was either fresh or well seasoned. After an amazing dinner, we were offered the dessert menu. We all were full but the waitress reminded us that we would get a complimentary teramisu or cannoli for my aunts birthday. We picked the tiramisu. Which was amazing. The ambiance is very warm with low-light dining. Will definitely be returning for special occasions or if company comes to town. See you again Antico
