    Burrata and pesto appetizer

This is a nice fancier steakhouse, I think it would be fine if you just walk in wearing your bathing suit off the lake but was definitely a dressier vibe. Servers were helpful and nice. Back patio is overlooking the water with great views. Burrata appetizer was light cool and refreshing on a hot day.

Nice spot for a lakeside view! We took my mom here for her birthday while she was in town visiting. She got the blackberry storm cocktail and I got the lavender lake tea - both were very refreshing. For dinner, we had the grilled pork chop which came with a delicious potato cake, and the turkey avocado sandwich with fries. My husband got the filet and finished every bite.

North Harbor Club is simply amazing! The food was delicious, satisfying and prepared beautifully. We ordered the Greek salad with salmon, Po Boy Sandwich with French fries along with 2 appetizers. The appetizers were Mango Bango Shrimp and Asparagus Fries. The taste of this food definitely gets bragging points! The atmosphere was pleasant along the dockside. Our server Kylie, was so friendly and helpful with choosing our food selections. She was polite, professional and energetic. Kuddos to Kylie! This is a place I would recommend to anyone who is traveling or lives in the area. Great food, and great people.

My colleagues and I had a reservation for dinner at North Harbor Club. It was my first visit to the restaurant and I was excited to try a few of the menu items. To start, the service was amazing. Everyone was so nice and helpful when we asked questions regarding the items on the menu. Our table ordered a variety of appetizers to try. My favorite was the Mango Bango shrimp. Ahhhh! There were delicious and definitely a must try menu items. I also ordered a wedge salad and the Lobster Mac & Cheese. I'm going to start with the wedge salad. It was quite what expected (see pics). The dish included romaine lettuce, tomatoes, blue cheese dressing and a strip of bacon. I was disappointed in the salad. The bacon looked like it had been sitting out for a while (see pics). I do wish that the dish included blue cheese crumbles. The Lobster Mac & Cheese includes a truffle cream, lobster and chopped ASPARAGUS? A few of my colleagues and I were literally solving a Scooby Doo mystery trying to figure out what the veggie in the dish was (see pics). I thought it was interesting choice of veggie to include in the dish. Do veggies really belong in mac n' cheese?

Our server was amazing and the food was great. We ordered the lobster mac & cheese, asparagus fries, braised beef short rib and filet mignon. Everything tasted great. The asparagus fries were definitely the star for sure.

Last night my friends and I went to dinner at North Harbor Club to celebrate my 25th birthday. The host table was extremely accommodating due to the weather and pushed two tables together under a large white tent for us outside. Our server, Melissa, was phenomenal the entire night making sure our party of 8 had everything we needed and even bringing out a candle with dessert at the end. I've been to North Harbor a few times and the food has never disappointed. My boyfriend and I shared the spinach and artichoke dip, then I got the braised beef short rib for my main. Our table shared a few desserts including the tiramisu and banana pudding cake... these were both so tasty! The great food paired with an amazing few of the lake made this spot the perfect place to celebrate. Thank you again Melissa and the North Harbor Club staff for an amazing experience.

Cute lakefront restaurant with free boat parking! Service was friendly and good, food was great too. I went for grilled mahi with vegetables and it didn't disappoint, it was presented beautifully and tasted great. I'd order it again!

Went Sunday afternoon with a group of 9 and had a smooth, delicious brunch. The view of the harbor is a nice bonus feature with excellent people watching. The waitstaff was attentive and very cordial Started with a few appetizers: Asparagus fries, chips with artichoke dip and crab dip. All came out hot and quickly.my favorite were the asparagus fries.Fun fried vegetables and very scrumptious. I ordered a Shrimp Po-Boy with a Greek Salad. There were six large shrimp and I had to eat three to close the sandwich. It was served with an interesting spicy slaw. Loved it. My friend was kind enough to share a Mango Bango shrimp- which is an appetizer she had as a meal. It was by far my favorite! Would definitely return.

We went here for lunch as it has been a while and we wanted to sit by the water on a beautiful sunny day. The service was great and we had a perf eat seat on the back patio. The salads were fresh and had great ingredients. The chicken was cooked perfectly and so was the fish. My experience has been that for many years this is just a solid restaurant.

Lake Norman view while brunching is the best way! Great staff and delicious food! Very tasty cocktails!! We each ordered different dishes and we tried each other's food. They're very good! The veggies are cooked perfectly! Hate overcooked limp asparagus-this one was perfect! Walk around the area and enjoy life!

Amazing views and excellent service. My friend and I went to North Harbor Club for brunch. I ordered the catfish entree which was just OK. I don't really care for a lot of salt on my food but the fish could use some seasoning. I also did not like that the coleslaw was on the plate. The wetness of the slaw made the fish and fries a tad bit soggy. My friend plans to go back but plans to try something different.

Great spot for lunch on the water. The menu here has such a nice variety of items! I got the crab cake sandwich and side salad and it was soooo good. The salad came with lots of fresh toppings. The crab cake was a substantial portion as well.

Our experience was outstanding- we shared the lobster bisque and bread offering, both were amazing. Afterwards, we each had the large filet mignon entree, which was also delicious and cooked perfectly. For dessert we shared the tiramisu and it was incredible. Unlike other reviews, where the food, experience and service are reviewed, my family never had the opportunity to indulge as such. On April 7, 2026, I made reservations for my wife, mother-in-law and three others for May 10, 2026, at 1:30 p.m., Mother's Day. My wife and mother-in-law had been anxious to try out the restaurant, as they had heard through acquaintances that their food was very good. I made the reservations via Choplin's web site, which showed the restaurant's availability for that date and time. Over the four weeks between the date when I made the reservation and Mother's Day, I received numerous reminders of our reservation, including one on Saturday, May 9th, where I was asked to confirm our intent. Sunday, May 10th, we drove the hour to get to the restaurant, everyone excited to be trying a new dining experience. When we arrived, the parking lot was empty, which we thought was unusual for a restaurant on this occasion (Mother's Day). We got to the door and found the restaurant was closed. We could staff inside but clearly; they were not open for business. We tried calling but only received a message that the restaurant was closed and to call back. While we were fortunate enough to find a local favorite that was willing to accommodate us for Mother's Day (though they did not have any openings). On Monday, I called Choplin's, hoping to speak with their manager to find out why such an error was allowed to occur but no one answered the phone. Once again accessing Choplin's website, I emailed the restaurant, conveying our frustrations and the impact their lack of communication had on such a special day for my wife and mother (in-law). That was on May 11, 2026. There has been no follow-up from the restaurant of any type. I understand that Choplin's utilizes third party services to manage their reservations, but I also understand that it is the responsibility of the restaurant to manage that service and the reservations made by the service provider. The lack of response from Choplin's restaurant speaks volumes about how little they care about their customers. I will be sure to share my experience with others as I don't care how good your food may be, your lack of customer service and support tells me that I should seek one of the umpteen other high quality restaurants around the area to spend my money, where customer service is priority 1.

This was our first time here, and it's a very nice venue. To start, their coffee is delicious and strong. I had the Double Up, with scrambled eggs (with added cheddar), bacon, sausage links, sourdough toast, and fruit. My husband had the Short Rib Hash with a side of potatoes. He forgot the hash also had potatoes, and should have gotten something else, because he had far too many potatoes! My scrambled eggs were a little over cooked and the cheese was only melted on top (rather than being mixed in), but they were still decent. The bacon was perfectly crispy--as requested, and the sausage links were fine. The sourdough toast was buttered and delicious. And the fruit had watermelon--a nice addition to the usual fruit cup. My husband's short rib hash was good. The eggs were perfectly medium, but the potatoes were a bit salty. Easy Like Sunday still makes our favorite version of this dish. Our server was very pleasant, and the wait wasn't too long for our food. I loved that we could pay with ApplePay via the Toast handheld. The restaurant is known for its casual yet upscale ambiance, which definitely came through during our visit.  Where the experience fell a bit short for me was the food. Everything was prepared well and perfectly edible, but nothing really stood out or felt especially memorable. It wasn't bad by any means--just not quite at the same level as the atmosphere and service. I went for the lobster tail ravioli, and it was just a bit too chewy for my taste.
