    The process of buying a vehicle couldn't have been better! I compared many options for a couple of weeks... then the right vehicle with the right price showed up. Actually there were several to choose from. I prequalified and was able to estimate my payments based on down payment and when it came to purchasing, the process only took about 30 minutes to order, confirm my info and schedule my free delivery. No haggling, up-charging or up-selling and no negotiation tactics from a sales manager. Got my vehicle a few days later and it was exactly what the doctor ordered! I had 7 days to return it with no questions asked and it's got a 3ish month warranty as well. Just be thorough about looking over the vehicle and how it drives and functions. My only dislike is the service agreement partner they work with during the warranty period doesn't give you the option of working with dealer/manufacturer repair shops. Something to consider but not a deal breaker. Overall I'll never buy from a dealer again.

    Easy process and their price for the car I sold was the only place that gave me a fair price, well above competitors and way more than the dealership. They came to the house and picked up the vehicle with a check in hand. So easy!

In our case, we had an unusual set of transportation needs. We were looking for a high-end RV to support our plans for cross-country roadtrips. Suffice it to say that our needs didn't match the typical run-of-the-mill item in Gary's inventory. But, leave it to Gary to find what we were looking for... A beautiful, previously owned, low-mileage, pristine condition, Mercedes/Airstream RV! Who could have imagined?!? It has proven to be the ideal vehicle for us and we love it!. I was advised that a jack kit would be ordered and mailed to my home address . It is now March 15, 2026 and I still have not received a jack set I was promised and I had to purchase a second key myself.

I work night shifts for a power company and walked out to my truck, 2023 Ram 2500 w/ 50,000 mi., and it would not start. Initially I thought it was the battery and came out of pocket $200 for that. No go. I then had to call a tow truck because I needed it repaired quickly and thought, hey I only bought this car 8 months ago maybe the dealership I bought it from will take care of me since they did such a good job when they sold it to me. Boy was I wrong. After being told they were "short on techs" and way backed up, I was I Italy told it wouldn't be looked at until Monday. Okay fine. Then I kept getting told another 2-3 days before it would be looked at. I called asking for the general manager who was out but the Finance Director, Brandon said he could help me. I told him my situation and asked if the dealership would be willing to help cover some of the cost of the labor or part since I was already out $500 for the tow and new battery. He was extremely rude, condescending, and all he cared about was whether I had bought their extended warranty. The 60,000 Dodge warranty only covered certain things but not the starter, however my issue was this was a 2023 $50k vehicle I purchased and a starter should not be going out at 50k miles. He said because I didn't have a warranty I didn't need to get my truck fixed by then and I was welcome to tow it somewhere else if I didn't want to wait. This was not an option and felt like he wanted me to go away. I was frustrated and became more frustrated with him when he continued to basically tell me it was my fault for not getting the extended warranty. He said he would talk to the service and call me back. Guess what? Never heard back from him. Previously I tried to just talk to the sales rep or sales manager I had worked with. Sales Rep was already gone and the sales manager had a gatekeeper who I'm sure never told him I even called. I ended up having the truck towed back to my house after I got off night shift and it took me two hours to diagnose and repair within 2 hours. It was a simple starter replacement. With no lift and minimal tools. 2 hours or less of time is what it would have cost them to get me back on the road after selling me a truck 8 months ago they were not willing to honor their customer service pledge without the absurd amount of money for an extended warranty. I was even willing to pay the $900 they wanted to charge me for a starter replacement. With the tow and starter it still only cost me $500. The only saving grace during the entire time was the Service Rep, Laz, who stayed in contact with me and did everything he could to try and help me. I got to wonder what the work culture is like when they are short on techs and my sales person was gone after 8 months. I hope Laz can find a better company because he deserves better. So, be wary of working with this dealership, they don't care about you or the vehicle you purchase or honoring their customer service pledges on their website. Brandon was probably the rudest and most condescending person at a dealership I have ever dealt with and he is the one in charge of your vehicle financing. Be WARY! Go to Hendricks or anywhere else unless you want to pay for their customer service by buying an extended warranty and adding $100-$200 to your monthly payment. Also, Veterans, go somewhere else, because Brandon could care less I was even a veteran. They don't care about people or the veterans who serve this country.

He would send me vehicles to me and I narrowed down our choices. Finally decided on a 2014 Lexus IS F Sport. He got us out the door, including taxes, tags, and title for thousands less than retail value. The car is gorgeous and super clean - everyone thinks it is brand new! Only problem was that dealer was 4 hours away. Called and spoke to Nathan at around 4:00pm. That's when the over the top exceptional customer service experience began. We had recently thought we found a vehicle only to arrive at dealer and find the car was sold. Expressed our concern that this might happen again. Nathan explained the VA Select Policy of not "holding" a car if someone came into lot and wanted to purchase. What he did do, was commit to letting us know upon closing that evening (via text), that the car was in fact still available and we could commit to driving there in the morning. But that wasn't good enough for Nathan. He also went the extra mile and took a picture of a scratch he noticed on the vehicle and sent us pictures. Said he would ask the body shop to buff it out first thing in the morning. We texted Nathan when we departed our house at 6:30am (they don't open until 9) and he was then able to remove it from the lot so no one could purchase since we were now enroute. Upon arriving to the location after 4-hour drive, the first thing we say at the entrance was a shiny, newly detailed Dodge Charger. My son was very excited and Nathan proceeded to give us a 30-minute certificate to do a test drive. This completely suprised us, as our experience had been drive around the block with saleperson hovering in back seat. Son was convinced it was the car after driving it for 5 minutes. Upon our return, Nathan offered us beverages and escorted us to his desk for the daunting "sign and make it yours experience". Not once did we feel pressure. No haggling was required (we knew this before we came), and Nathan patiently answered each and every question. Once the paperwork was complete and ready for us to go to the financing department, we all went outside and talked about the car some more. Nathan shared several personal stories with our family and we were happy that we had him as our salesperson. But it didn't stop there. Once Finanace was ready for us, Nathan took it upon himself to take the vehicle to the the nearby service station and top of the gas tank. Outstanding. The financing process was quick and painless as we had pre-approval for the loan. Robert Seeney (F & I Manager) took over from there and made sure all the paperwork was in order since we were from out of state. He was extremely professional and had the personality of someone who took the customer service experience seriously. Bottom line is that our experience with Virginia Select Auto was exceptionally pleasant and we would hope that everyone would get the opportunity to work with Nathan if in the market to purchase a car.
