If you don't speak Spanish, don't let this dissuade you, she was very knowledgeable about the menu and knew exactly what my non-Spanish companions wanted without my subpar linguistic assistance. She made fantastic recommendations and accurately told us that everything on the menu was good. The menu had a great variety from shawarma to empanadas. The waitperson was very good about proactively telling us what they were out of (only a couple of things--lasagna and soup). I don't think you can go wrong with anything you can choose. I ordered the Pepito with mushrooms and chicken. It was AMAZING. Perfectly seasoned and so satisfying. My husband ordered a cordon bleu and a fish empanada along with a pizza pastele. Our daughter ordered the Venezuelan take on chicken shawarma. They greatly enjoyed their meals and we all enjoyed the mini empanadas we shared (two pork, two beef, and two chicken is the default). I also savored every drop of my Especial Super Sandys cocktail. The viet braised pork belly is way better and softer. Still a solid spot. Some dishes hit and miss. Our group has our go to dishes. Next time maybe I'll try the Dan Dan noodles.

Personally thought they were great and soul-warming. My favorite is Garlic Pho (as I mentioned above) because I love how garlic blends with their broth. I am a huge fan of garlic although someone else may hate me for smelling like garlic. The garlic adds that "nutty"? more like garlic-y flavor to make their broth more rich.
