I'm already nervous about buying used cars, and even more nervous because it was too far away for me to look at. I read all these Yelp reviews for his business, and was impressed because he was rated higher than most used car dealerships. And he provided a free CarFax report, so I knew the car's history and was impressed it only had 2 owners over 24 years. I talked to Ata by phone about the car, then hired a mobile mechanic (also found through Yelp) in the Rancho Cordova area, and sent him in to inspect the car. Ata was very accommodating and tolerant of the mechanic's inspection and lengthy test drive, during which I was on the phone with the mechanic and Ata. I ended up buying the car, and Ata recommended a shipping option he's used that even cost less than what I could get through one of the national car transport companies. Ata took care of a small dent in the bumper before shipping the car, he included the 30-day drivetrain warranty noted on the Craigslist ad, handled all of the paperwork, and I ended up with a great car I'm thrilled to own! The man takes pride in the cars he "curates" for his business and is an honest gentleman. Truly a "Top Quality" operation.

We called and Sam had it ready and started for us to check out. We took it for a test drive and we had a good feeling that this could be a hidden gem of a car. So decided to purchase it. The process was easy fast and smooth. There did turn out to be a slight issue with a leaking ac hose but we contacted them and repaired immediately. Overall so far so good my daughter loves her car!

But man, this was 7 years ago and I still get angry thinking about it. I was in my mid/late 20's when I bought my car from them. I have tattoos, piercings, and at the time my hair was either neon green and blue, or hot pink and purple (can't remember which one). Im used to the staring, the pointing, the not so quiet whispers. I'm all too familiar with strangers taking one look at me and deciding that they know the kind of person I am, and the people who worked here were no different. I went to purchase one of their cars. I brought everything they asked me to. I had $4,200 cash for the down payment, copy of my paystubs, and a print out of my bank statement as well. They gave me my bank statement back, and they said they still needed additional income verification, and that I needed to bring in the cancelled checks. I told them that there was no way I was going to be able to get them. My mom owns her own business, I work for her. She was out of state caring for her parents who were both 95+ years old, one of which had both Alzheimer's and dementia. There was just no way she would have been able to take the time to do that. They wouldn't budge on it, so i said that's fine, and I left. A day or two after that, I got an email from them telling me that they cleared it with the bank, and to go ahead and come in and purchase the car. I emailed back and said "so the cancelled checks are no longer necessary?" And they said I did not need the cancelled checks, and to come in and make the purchase. So that's what I did. The whole process was uncomfortable. They were rude and demeaning but I went through with the purchase anyways. There was another couple in there purchasing a different Mercedes. He said he didn't like the wheel center caps on the car he was purchasing, and that he wanted ones from a different Mercedes out there. They happily obliged. When I was leaving, I noticed the car I just purchased didn't even have mats (can't believe I didn't notice during the test drive). When I said something to one of the workers, he just replied "buy some on Amazon" and walked back inside. A day or two later I received an email from Elegant Auto. The email requested that I send them cancelled checks. Before I went back to purchase the car, I made it a point to make sure the checks weren't needed, and they said they weren't. That is the only reason I made the purchase. They then insinuated that my proof of income was fake (paystubs and bank statements), and then straight up accused me of lying about my employment just because I work for my mother. They said I had two options. I could send them the cancelled checks, or I could return the car by the end of the day. I told them, like I had said from the get go, I couldn't get them the cancelled checks, and I had also just gone out of town, so I couldn't return it by end of day even if I wanted to. I asked them why my bank statements weren't enough, and they just kept saying that the bank needed the cancelled checks and if I couldn't bring the car back that day, they were going to send someone out to repo it. They said if I'm not lying about my employment then getting the cancelled checks shouldn't be an issue. I called the bank to see what I could do, and they told me that they had no idea why Elegant Auto had lied and said that the bank no longer needed the checks. They also said that my bank statement, even without the deposits, would be fine as long as it shows a sufficient amount deposited into my account monthly. After sending her my bank statement, she said I made way more than enough, and she approved my loan. She said that they either needed the checks OR the bank statements, and she had no idea why the dealership refused to take my bank statements and kept insisting only on the cancelled checks. They were rude, judgmental, told me I was lying about my income and my employment just because I work for my mother's company, they had me come purchase a vehicle under false pretenses, and then a day later threatened to send someone to repo the vehicle from me if I didn't send them documents that they said specifically ensured me that they didn't need, and that I repeatedly said I didn't have! And wouldn't accept my bank statements as proof of income, demanding only the cancelled checks, even though BOTH were accepted forms of proof of income as long as they showed that I had enough money coming in! It felt like they thought that if I couldn't come up with the checks, then that would prove that they were right and that I was lying. I know this review is all over the place. I really wish I wrote this when everything happened and it was fresh on my mind. I'm pretty sure that I have left out quite a few things. And like I said, this was in 2019. I don't know if it's any different now, but honestly, I don't care to find out.

We filed a claim with the Sacramento DMV investigations, but haven't heard back from them yet either. So, we finally went to the regular DMV office today to see what we could do from here. They told us to send a certified letter to Autowest Motorsports requesting our car title. If/when the letter is returned (since the business is no longer there) we have to take the letter back to the DMV office and they will then be able to write up a new title in our name. Hopefully you still have your receipt, paperwork from Autowest. We will have to pay the DMV fees again too. Ridiculous. Hopefully this is helpful.

I am recovering from an illness during which I wasn't able to work for over 2 years. My credit is destroyed. I am working hard to rebuild it and it is NOT easy! I have a decent job again and was spending so much money on rental cars, Lyft and Uber it was ridiculous, I needed a car. I went to several dealerships claiming to be able to finance anyone, and no one could - even Paul Blanco (except with horrible terms). I was referred to Mike at Eurostar, and I dropped by without much hope. I told him my situation and that I understood if he couldn't help me but had nothing to lose asking. I left pretty sure I wouldn't hear from him ever again. Boy was I wrong. Let me begin by telling you that the vehicles on the lot are absolutely beautiful. It's obvious that they select only the best, and they have a lot of pride in the appearance of their inventory. I did not expect to see such beautiful cars, and their prices are very fair. When I received a phone call a few hours later from Mike I was sure he had bad news, however he was calling to tell me that he was able to get me approved for a beautiful 2017 Ford Focus. I was shocked and thrilled. The payment was high, but I assumed I had no choice because I have such poor credit and so I signed the contract. I just couldn't believe he even could find financing for me. I was to take delivery of the vehicle the next day, but I woke up in a panic in the middle of the night thinking about that payment. I pretty much figured that since I signed the contract I couldn't back out and anyways, with challenged credit it was probably the only way I could get approved. Still, I texted Mike the next morning to express my concern and to ask if he would or even could work with me on different vehicle to get a lower payment. Four hours later I was again shocked when Mike texted me back. He reworked the deal, and qualified me to buy a GORGEOUS 2012 Acura TSX with a much lower monthly payment, shorter loan term and the same down. He also arranged for me to split the down payment up over a 30 day period. The transaction was seamless, painless and fast, too! I definitely felt Mike had my best interests at heart. He didn't sell me a car that was going to overextend me, and was genuinely happy to have been able to help me - and I mean that. He is one sharp guy. I was embarrassed and humiliated at other dealers, NEVER was this the case with Mike. He is calm, cool, collected, honest, positive and genuine. I was treated with respect and truly felt valued. A year from now when my credit is built up I will buy my dream car, and I won't ever go anywhere else or buy from anyone else. For now, my new vehicle is just PERFECT and I wish my commute was longer, lol!
