This is literally been the worst rental car place I've ever been to. This is not my first experience here and I don't know how I keep ending up in this situation where I come back here. It's like I want to punish myself. They are always short staffed, you have to wait forever to check in then they won't let you pay at the counter. You have to then stand in line and wait for someone to bring you a random car. They then are going to try to upsell you on a bunch of products you do not need. We wanted a particular model and color Toyota Rav 4. Enterprise sales had exactly what we wanted up in Washington. We went to the Rancho Cordova store and met with Zach and his finance guy (man bun). We said we would pay the $800 transfer fee but could not commit to actually buying until we saw and drove the vehicle. The finance guy pushed their financing as well as $4k worth of extended warranty, glass and tire protection and LoJack ($900). Declined all and he seemed to lose interest. He said that vehicle may not be available (although on the website) but they had similar Ravs and he would email me within the week. Never did hear from him. I came in and purchased my new 2020 Ford Titanium. I had originally bought one in blue, but was a lower model and I was being a little cheap and changed my mind and got the upgrade model that is completely fully loaded. My bank referred me to Enterprise and I'm so thankful they did! Ray listened to what I needed in a new car, let me test drive a few, and didn't pressure me at all. His knowledge, expertise, and accommodating personality made the search for, test drives, and purchase of a used SUV a refreshing and enjoyable experience. Also, I got loan pre-approval at Golden One and got a recommendation for Enterprise, plus a 1% discount on the loan if I purchased at Enterprise. At current rates that's 1.99%! Giovanni and Enterprise made the loan and purchase process painless (yes there's a lot of documents to sign, but patience, Grasshopper). Lastly, the quality of the vehicles we test drove was impressive. I didn't expect to make a purchase on my first visit, but found a gem of an SUV and jumped on it. I crashed my car on the side of the road into a ditch a few weeks ago, and thank goodness Enterprise was there to help me rent a car. My insurance sent my info right over to them, so when I arrived, all my info was already in the system and they were ready for me. The people who work there are very friendly, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. There are plenty of cars to choose from and the employees will be there with you from start to finish to make sure the car is in good condition before you leave. I bought my 2008 Volkswagon Jetta three or four years ago from Enterprise Car Sales and I must say it was a very pleasant experience. My previous car had broken down and was going to cost more to fix than it was worth and, frankly, it was just plain time for me to be in the market for a new car. My father recommended checking out the cars at Enterprise Car Sales because he'd helped my brother purchase cars from them in other states and always had good experiences with the company. Since my car wasn't running, one of the salesmen drove to my house to pick me up and bring me down to their location on Ming to test drive the car. I loved it! The mileage was under fifteen thousand and it drove like a dream. The only problem with it was that there was a small crack in the windshield and they agreed to have it replaced with a new windshield by the following day. Well, they had to pick me up again the next day, and when I arrived the car was sparkling clean inside and out. We paid by cashiers check, so there was no financing to worry about and we were in and out of there in half an hour including signing all the paperwork. In all the time I have had the car there have been no major repairs to speak of other than replacing fuses, headlight and taillight bulbs, and things of that nature. This review took longer than needed. It should have been typed up the day my car was purchased, but sadly, it was not. I had a rough January, Happy New Year, right? No, not exactly, for me anyways. I ended up getting in a car accident towards the middle of January. For a week I was wasting money on Lyft or Uber, whichever would get me to work for a few weeks. It was starting to get expensive and I didn't know what else to do. I knew my credit wasn't stellar, and had already been denied a loan from previous dealerships such as Nissan, Toyota, etc. I called my bank and see what are my chances of getting a car loan through them and they were pretty blunt about it, which was fine, and said very slim. My banker did however refer me to Enterprise Car Sales, and knew of one person in particular to put me in contact with. John Edwards. Being desperate for a car now, since my headache of an insurance company and the other driver's insurance weren't helping much, I figured my luck couldn't get any worse. I spoke with John and told him about my issue. He basically "guaranteed" that I would be approved for a loan. Me being skeptical about any car dealers, I was taking that with a grain of salt. I told him all my info and went on my way to work. Within a few hours he calls, and tells me that I've been approved for a loan in the amount that I was looking for. Wow! He was then setting an appointment with me to come down and take a look at the few cars he had on the lot. Problem is, I had no card to get there. Car accident, remember? That doesn't seem to matter to these guys here at Enterprise Car Sales, they rented me a car for the day so I can get down there on Friday to look at some cars that were lined up. Wow, again! I drive down there with my wife. John was ready, and showing us the few cars that were in the range we were looking for. Honestly, I told him, those weren't my cup of tea. I had my heart set on an Hyundai Elantra they had. Although it was a bit more expensive then what I was originally looking for, I would rather spend a bit more now, then a lot more later. John however, made it work. He made sure my wife and I weren't leaving without a car, because of all the crap luck I was already having this year. We drove off that night with a 2015 Hyundai Elantra, and it was the greatest thing ever to be able to drive such a newer car with a low payment a month. John Edwards made everything work! I was in and out in a half hour and the sales rep Marlon was great, quick and efficient. The car was just finishing up its inspection so I didn't get it right away. Two hours later I was called and went to pick up the car. Signed the papers and went to pay with a debit car that I found had a limit on it. I bought a car from Enterprise Car Sales years ago it was the best car buying experience I'd ever had. So just recently, when I decided it was time to start shopping for another car, I immediately contacted Enterprise. What a big, big mistake. The sales person, Raymond, started out full of customer service, offering great information and being really helpful. I've never driven the model I was interested in and wanted to do a test drive. Because of COVID concerns, Enterprise is having their sales people bring the cars to the client's home, which is certainly understandable. Raymond wanted to make sure I was VERY serious about buying because he "didn't want to risk his life" on a test drive if I wasn't. I understand everyone's concern for their personal health right now, but as an essential worker, I didn't appreciate his melodrama. I was serious about the vehicle and after emailing back and forth, we agreed on a test drive at 6:00 p.m. the following day, after I got off work. Raymond didn't show at 6:00 as scheduled though and called at 6:20 to say he had been on the phone with another customer and that the car was just being cleaned up now. He said he could probably make it by about 7:10-7:15. Why would they be cleaning the car at the time it was supposed to be test driven??? Especially when the test drive had been scheduled the day before? Also, he had my email and could have sent a quick note, saying he was on the phone with another customer and was running a bit late - that would have been fine. To complicate things, I had gotten a call at 5:45 from my work, saying I needed to come back in that evening, which meant I needed to leave my house no later than 7:30. I was thinking that since the test drive was at 6:00, we'd still be able to do a 15 minute drive and then I could ask any additional questions and maybe decide to buy. Because that schedule was now up in the air, I asked Raymond if he could make it by 7:00, so we could at least do the drive and I could make my decision by the next day. That's when Raymond dropped all pretense of customer service and just started pushing and pushing and pushing to close the deal. He even asked what time I was getting off work that night and when I said probably not till 1:00 a.m., he said he'd bring the vehicle over so we could do it at that time! Seriously??? Test drive a car I couldn't see clearly in the dark, with a man I'd never met, in the middle of the night? Did he think I was going to invite him into my house to do the paperwork too? And in a 10 minute conversation he must have said the paperwork would only take a short time, 10 or 15 minutes, at least 6 times. He couldn't have cared less about my being happy with the vehicle, he just had to have the sale. After we got off the phone, I realized I was really bothered by his pushiness, his suggestion of meeting in the middle of the night and how pressured I was feeling. So I emailed him and told him that because of all of these reasons, and that he had not earned my trust, I was declining the test drive and declining to work with him. I specifically said "please don't contact me again." He emailed me the next day, around 2:00-ish, as though nothing ever happened, and asked if it would be ok for him to come by my house at 4:30 for the test drive. I was at work (again) and just replied, "did you not get my email, declining the test drive and declining to work with you?" That finally stopped him. The sad part is this could have worked out for both of us, but we'll never know now. And my opinion of Enterprise Car Sales has definitely changed too. Really, really bad experience. read more

I found a car on their website, called the second the office opened and said I wanted the specific car and asked them to put a hold on it so I could get to the office and pay the transfer fee, since it was in another city. I drove an hour to get to the Rancho Cordova office only to be told the car i wanted transferred was already out on a test drive at the other Enterprise office in a different city. The sales guy tried to get me interested in a bunch of other similar cars that were more expensive and said the car i was interested in was being sold...paperwork was in process. I left and found the car I was looking for for $1000 less with 30000 less miles on it at CarMax. The interesting thing is the sales guy said they update their inventory website three times a day. So why then, when I look at their website a full day and a half later, the car I called about still shows as available. They just wanted me to buy a car they had on stock that was more expensive than the one I found on their website. Kind of shady.... read more

Really impressed with Enterprise. Quite a different experience compared to regular dealers or even Carmax. I've had to go through the normal car buying "shpeel" many times over the years and I loathe every second of it. Enterprise still doesn't make it as fun as going to Disneyland, but I would definitely come back and buy another car here. Its nice and easy to have a no hassle buying experience. The price is what it is and they just try and find the best financing to match what you want. Our sales guy Brian R. was friendly and made you feel like he actually wanted you to get the car and deal you wanted. He found what we were looking for, but also showed us other options so we had a back up. He was never pushy or tried to sell us something just so he could make commission. I love how I didn't have to talk with 4 different people, trying to screw me over. Once Brian found the car we liked, Dexter took over and found us the financing we needed. There was no "you gotta work with me here" or "meet me half way, cmon". He was straight forward and honest. Definitely made it the quickest and most efficient car buying experience I've ever had. I've had the wrong impression of what Enterprise is all about, but since buying our car there this week, I don't see why other companies don't follow suit. read more

Just purchased a car here 2 days ago and I couldn't be more happy. A lot of people have been telling me to check out enterprise but I was skeptical. Came in on a Tuesday night to check out a car. I was definitely not expecting to actually be leaving with a car 2-3 hours later! The guy who helped us was Erik. He made the whole process feel so easy and we didn't feel pressured or uncomfortable one bit. I had brought my mom in with me and even she was very impressed with this place which was a surprise. Everything just seemed too good to be true but it worked out and I left with a car with payments way lower than I was expecting. I will always be referring everyone to enterprise now. read more

Enterprise Car Sales - Car Dealers Near Me - Rancho Cordova, California

My local credit union suggested my local car rental company for a used car purchase. I said I wouldn't mind hearing from them/Enterprise/Sunrise. I got a call from a cars salesman that simply lied about the vehicle and the reasons to buy their car. There are pluses and minuses but the sales person denied any of the negative issues and rudely said I didn't know what I was talking about. No dialogue or proof, just that I was wrong. There prices are not any better than you can find on your own. Google used car purchase and you'll find tons of info. Check out Consumer Reports, etc... I will never purch a car from Enterprise. Enterprise quickly provided a response to my Yelp and emailed me directly to show some care about their service. Enterprise is reading Yelp. Well my suggestions are to provide better training and/or hiring guidelines. That said the prices offered are what they are... Enterprise may be a decent option for some...
