I hit the jackpot with Beach City Service who had only recently signed up with Yelp. My 20yr old, but still beautiful, 100% stainless steel USA made Ducane BBQ grill needed repair. I was prepared for a hassle since Ducane was acquired years ago. But Yauhen, (pron. Johan), the owner and technician, was responsive, confident and very capable. He diagnosed and quickly repaired it for a fair price and was polite, personable and immaculate personally which speaks volumes. (I'm not a fan of the infamous "plumber" look) Another thing I really appreciated is that Yauhen doesn't sell grills--he repairs them. So there was no sales pitch to replace my high-quality grill with something new, inferior and made in China. His goal was to fix my grill and that's what he did. Professional, honest, and clearly skilled. I couldn't be happier with the outcome, and I'm thrilled to support a small local business doing things the right way.

The two them then proceeded to immediately diagnose the problem and told me in detail what they were going to do and what I could do going forward to avoid this from happening again in the future. Within the hour they had completely repaired the fridge and freezer and cleaned up so thoroughly that it was like they were never there. But they were, because my fridge is actually cold again! When it came time to pay I was even more smiles because they were beyond fair and didn't try to make me pay for something I didn't need. Elad answered, and he scheduled to come out Sunday morning. He got it working again quickly and said it's not the pump and may be the circuit board, but to just use it and if it stops again he can get the board and make the repair in a day. He told me what the board would cost, and the $80 I paid for him to come out would be applied. So far it's working. He is everything you want in a repairman: prompt, honest, and smart!
