I was lucky to celebrate my birthday here with my family and they made it so very special for me. Not only is the food amazing- I recommend the veal chop parm and start off with the tuna tartare it is the best I've ever had , but the service was so attentive and I truly appreciated the whole night. The ambiance is perfect for a date night out or celebrating a special occasion! The wine selection is wonderful and for my birthday they brought out a chocolate lava cake and wrote happy birthday on the plate. I thought that was so nice! We came to Casa D'Angelo for the first time tonight. The restaurant is very nice, the decor is classy and gentle to the eyes. Loved the ambiance. The hostess was lovely and sat us at the bar to wait for our table. Fantastic suggestion! We ended up staying at the bar! The patrons at the bar were very friendly and gave us the opportunity to have conversations with new friendly faces! The staff behind the bar were GREAT! Danieli has a warm smile and everything she recommended was spot on! Sogno Americano is very different in a good way! I've never had a drink with red pepper flakes before. Loved the apricot! Next was the Palombella! So light and refreshing! The lychee martini was very lychee flavored and exactly what you want in a lychee martini! The starter plate is wonderful. Onion flatbread, green olives, parmesan cheese, bruschetta with so much flavor, and olive oil to drizzle! All of the food we ordered was perfect. The fried items were delicate and crispy, the fish/seafood was fresh and perfectly done, the pasta was al dente, and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. All the sauces had great flavor-no complaints! There are so many items to order it's really difficult to decide! Dessert was truly unbelievable for me! I had the zabaglione and it was literally the best I've ever had. Light and fluffy, yet creamy. No trace of eggy taste, fresh fruit on the side and truly perfect. It was heaven in my mouth! The cannoli was also great! Crunchy, fresh, and not too sweet! We actually took Danieli's advice and tried the Nuts Over Chocolate - sooooo good! Again, well balanced and a wonderful combination of flavors. Before we left, we actually got to thank the head chef Rickie. He made sure we enjoyed everything and welcomed us back anytime. OMG..... What a pure delight!! From the moment we walked in on a Saturday evening, the ladies at the door delightful.... Our waiter, Gee, delightful. But my entree was TO DIE FOR!!! Absolutely loved our dinner with friends at D'Angelo last night! As soon as we walked in we were greeted warmly and the Italian ambiance throughout the restaurant was elegantly displayed. Our server Marcello was very knowledgeable about all the specials and dishes and very attentive. We were right away offered a complimentary appetizer of bruschetta, green olives and focaccia. One of the best meals on my stay in Boca Raton had the baby lamb chops and the home made gnocchi both outstanding. The gnocchi are super soft like pillows. Went here for Christmas dinner. Great service and very busy! Menu is tradition Italian - The beef carpaccio was perfect. We get it all the time when we see it on the menu. Wished it came with lemon and arugula. The Polpetta & Salsiccia was outstanding. The meatball and sausage in it melted in your mouth and the peppers that it came with were mouth watering. Our reservation was honored on time. We were guided to a small table in the center of the restaurant with outdoor lawn type chairs, but we were seated inside! We waited for another table in the wine room. It was on the side with cushioned chairs. Our waiter was available whenever we needed a refill of water or extra cheese. We shared the salad. My bolognese was bland and required substantial seasoning which had to be requested since it wasn't on the table. Additional bread had to be requested. The reggiano cheese didn't come until well after our entrees were served. The Bolognese that I ordered was decent but not worthy of the trip. The shared salad was very good but once again not over the top. The pistachio ice cream and chocolate was very good and perhaps the food highlight. Both the salads and calamari was excellent. I saw a picture of eggplant and pasta, but I didn't see it on the menu. The waiter was able to get for me. The wife had the shrimp dish. Was there last night for a 7:15 reservation. The place was hoping. They sat us promptly. Drinks came quickly. Cynthia, our waitress was attentive enough, but not intrusive. Food was delicious. The hostess and manager were very accommodating upon our arrival. The restaurant was nearly empty, with maybe three other tables seated, which made it all the more surprising that our order wasn't correct the first time. My espresso martini was excellent. We started with the octopus, which was fresh and delicious. For our mains, we ordered the filet rare and the veal Parmesan with rigatoni. The waiter mentioned the rigatoni was a larger cut than usual and assured us it wouldn't be spicy. However, the steak came out overcooked--well done and brown--and the rigatoni was unbearably spicy. We sent both back, requested a pasta swap for bucatini, and focused on the veal in the meantime, which was cooked to perfection--crispy and flavorful. The filet returned properly cooked, and the rigatoni was allegedly replaced with bucatini. When I asked the waiter to confirm, he insisted it was bucatini... though I had my doubts. (Take a look for yourself.) After the mix-up and fresh plates, the meal turned out decent. That said, the Aspen location is easily ten times better in terms of food, service and ambiance. read more

First off- our server, Ponce, was incredible. He gave excellent recommendations, was professional, and had a lovely personality, and very attentive. Food and drinks always arrived on a timely manner. We(2 people) ordered the Angelo salad, penne a la vodka, 2 glasses of white wine, Milanese, and tiramisu. The food was exceptional- special shout out to the recommendation from Ponce for the tiramisu. You must order it for dessert. Ambiance was upscale, with a private area in the back for special occasions. Only thing I didn't like was how when we entered the hostess told us to hold on because a regular customer had arrived. We had Zuppa di pesce and Osso Buco. Both were just ok and certainly less than expected at this price point. The Osso was sloppy and overly heavy served with pappardelle and a pizza shop quality sauce, too heavy. We would not get either of these dishes again. The service and atmosphere were good. read more

Haven't been able to come in to eat because we have small children and it's season so we did a quick takeout and are so happy with the amount and quality of the food. We ordered our favorite sides and the bruschetta appetizer that is normally free when dining in house but we are happy to pay $15 for this delicacy. It was plenty for us two and the kids were able to try olive and Parmesan without the pressure of being at a formal table. My only piece of advice would be to change the butter or oil used for the potatoes- the current oil did the potatoes a disservice. This could potentially be rectified by cooking the potatoes longer, as many were still hard in the center. Nonetheless, it hit the spot and we will order again soon- 8/10. read more

Realizing that my first review of Casa d'Angelo was more than 7 years ago., and I've dined there more than 30x over the years, I thought it only appropriate to submit a new review. After a 3.5 year absence due to covid and other matters, we looked forward to returning to CasaD. We sought out the familiar upscale setting. The white starched table cloths and napkins. The fine service by seasoned professional waitstaff, food runners. And well made "very chilled" vodka martinis. With theee large stuffed olives. Oh. Did I forget those luscious delicious almost sensuous desserts? Well, we have no complaints and only accolades. In today's hospitality and restaurant operation it is exceedingly challenging to get all the "parts" high quality and in sync with each other. CasaD does exactly that! Our fettuccine bolognese was delicious, and we each had a half portion at $18 each. It was more than satisfying and allowed us enough room in our stomachs for meat balls and sausages, an appetizer @$20. Wow, it was the first time we had that dish and it left our mouths puckering for more. We will definitely re-order it when we dine next. The tiramisu was sinful. Absolutely. We devoured it. My only regret was that we didn't have any to bring home. Perhaps next time we will order two - one for the table and the other to take home. MARTIN was our server. He was professional. Explained dishes when asked. Reviewed all the specials. Attentive without being intrusive. He should be recognized for his skills and we will surely ask for him when we return. We've been eating here for four years and why haven't I left a review? I have no idea. I've done hundreds of Yelp reviews and internationally on Trip Advisor. Hands down this Italian restaurant is outstanding and will meet even the most discerning palat with a fabulous menu. A few of my favorites are the pork or veal chop, any fish dish, the Cesar salad is served with white anchovies that are delicate and tasty. The specials are always worth having especially the tortellini with quanciale,fresh summer black truffles. If you're looking for a Michelin experience this is the place to go. They have the arrogance to not list prices on their menus at any of their 3 restaurants. I called and was told they could email me a menu with prices and even that was complicated and didn't happen. Ppl like to know prices, no matter how upscale the rest.. (and for the quality, prices are in line.)
