Arctic Char in lemon & garlic with Broccoli
    Av I.

OMG..... What a pure delight!! From the moment we walked in on a Saturday evening, the ladies at the door delightful.... Our waiter, Gee, delightful. But my entree was TO DIE FOR!!! The melt in my mouth Arctic Char was truly the most amazing dish I have ever had in South Florida!!! I would eat here every night over this perfect meal!! I highly recommend this restaurant, especially because of their perfect execution of fish!! Truly superb!!

Absolutely loved our dinner with friends at D'Angelo last night! As soon as we walked in we were greeted warmly and the Italian ambiance throughout the restaurant was elegantly displayed. Our server Marcello was very knowledgeable about all the specials and dishes and very attentive. We were right away offered a complimentary appetizer of bruschetta, green olives and focaccia. Our dinner was absolutely delicious, along with amazing desserts of Creme Brûlée and Cannoli . Will be back.

Beautiful Italian restaurant in downtown Boca Raton. Beautiful design for fine dining with a quiet elegance. GEORGE our waiter was knowledgeable and patient and timed our meals perfectly. No rush and every meal was plated beautifully and served to our specific requirements. Our food was delicious and prepared to order. We enjoyed our dinner and look forward to returning. Gnocchi outstanding. Incredibly soft

One of the best meals on my stay in Boca Raton had the baby lamb chops and the home made gnocchi both outstanding. The gnocchi are super soft like pillows. Portions are large was able to share both the gnocchi and the lamb chops. Make a reservation for sure. Place was happening in a Friday evening. Highly recommend ! A++++++

We came to Casa D'Angelo for the first time tonight. The restaurant is very nice, the decor is classy and gentle to the eyes. Loved the ambiance. The hostess was lovely and sat us at the bar to wait for our table. Fantastic suggestion! We ended up staying at the bar! The patrons at the bar were very friendly and gave us the opportunity to have conversations with new friendly faces! The staff behind the bar were GREAT! Danieli has a warm smile and everything she recommended was spot on! Sogno Americano is very different in a good way! I've never had a drink with red pepper flakes before. Loved the apricot! Next was the Palombella! So light and refreshing! The lychee martini was very lychee flavored and exactly what you want in a lychee martini! The starter plate is wonderful. Onion flatbread, green olives, parmesan cheese, bruschetta with so much flavor, and olive oil to drizzle! All of the food we ordered was perfect. The fried items were delicate and crispy, the fish/seafood was fresh and perfectly done, the pasta was al dente, and the vegetables were cooked to perfection. All the sauces had great flavor-no complaints! There are so many items to order it's really difficult to decide! Dessert was truly unbelievable for me! I had the zabaglione and it was literally the best I've ever had. Light and fluffy, yet creamy. No trace of eggy taste, fresh fruit on the side and truly perfect. It was heaven in my mouth! The cannoli was also great! Crunchy, fresh, and not too sweet! We actually took Danieli's advice and tried the Nuts Over Chocolate - sooooo good! Again, well balanced and a wonderful combination of flavors. Before we left, we actually got to thank the head chef Rickie. He made sure we enjoyed everything and welcomed us back anytime. It was really nice to see him. It was an enjoyable evening with so many reasons to return. I highly recommend dining here for a special experience.

Our reservation was honored on time. We were guided to a small table in the center of the restaurant with outdoor lawn type chairs, but we were seated inside! We waited for another table in the wine room. It was on the side with cushioned chairs. Our waiter was available whenever we needed a refill of water or extra cheese. We shared the salad. It was huge. We had the pasta bolognese and the short rib with pasta. The meat was very tender, but did need some extra seasoning. The shining star was the pistachio dessert.

This is an Italian restaurant that serves decent food but more than that serves hospitality. People come to be treated special and they definitely are. However, the food falls short of the service. My bolognese was bland and required substantial seasoning which had to be requested since it wasn't on the table. Additional bread had to be requested. The reggiano cheese didn't come until well after our entrees were served. The Bolognese that I ordered was decent but not worthy of the trip. The shared salad was very good but once again not over the top. The pistachio ice cream and chocolate was very good and perhaps the food highlight. I left feeling that I could've had comparable Italian food at a number of other lesser expensive restaurants.

The Food was excellent. Very busy and noisy. Reservation's are a must. Highly recommend this Restaurant.

    Allegedly bucatini
    Alejandra P.

The hostess and manager were very accommodating upon our arrival. The restaurant was nearly empty, with maybe three other tables seated, which made it all the more surprising that our order wasn't correct the first time. My espresso martini was excellent. We started with the octopus, which was fresh and delicious. For our mains, we ordered the filet rare and the veal Parmesan with rigatoni. The waiter mentioned the rigatoni was a larger cut than usual and assured us it wouldn't be spicy. However, the steak came out overcooked--well done and brown--and the rigatoni was unbearably spicy. We sent both back, requested a pasta swap for bucatini, and focused on the veal in the meantime, which was cooked to perfection--crispy and flavorful. The filet returned properly cooked, and the rigatoni was allegedly replaced with bucatini. When I asked the waiter to confirm, he insisted it was bucatini... though I had my doubts. (Take a look for yourself.) After the mix-up and fresh plates, the meal turned out decent. That said, the Aspen location is easily ten times better in terms of food, service and ambiance.

First off- our server, Ponce, was incredible. He gave excellent recommendations, was professional, and had a lovely personality, and very attentive. Food and drinks always arrived on a timely manner. We(2 people) ordered the Angelo salad, penne a la vodka, 2 glasses of white wine, Milanese, and tiramisu. The food was exceptional- special shout out to the recommendation from Ponce for the tiramisu. You must order it for dessert. Ambiance was upscale, with a private area in the back for special occasions. Only thing I didn't like was how when we entered the hostess told us to hold on because a regular customer had arrived. Other than that, everything was lovely. Will return.

    Zuppa di Pesce
    Joe T.

We had Zuppa di pesce and Osso Buco. Both were just ok and certainly less than expected at this price point. The Osso was sloppy and overly heavy served with pappardelle and a pizza shop quality sauce, too heavy. We would not get either of these dishes again. The service and atmosphere were good.

The name "Boca Raton Wine and Food Festival" sure sounds good...like they would get some higher end restaurants there. I mean it's not the F'ing Catalina Wine Mixer, but... Not all were a disappointment, but most were. Now it did rain for about 10 minutes, but that's Florida and all part of the adventure. But this BRWFF was slated for 7 pm to 10 pm. The tickets were not cheap, but there were still vendors that simply left by 8:30 pm...I guess due to the 10 minute rain shower. There is a contest where we the customers vote on the best food/wine booth. Well the best in my opinion was the Lighthouse Point Yacht and Racquet Club (French Onion Soup dumplings) which is 1. A private Club that us commoners don't have access to AND 2. It's not even in Boca. Then to top it off, the winner was Santos Buffet....a buffet won people! I mean ZERO disrespect to Santo's, but Is that the BEST place the organizers could get for the BRWFF? I know that part falls partially on the voters, but still....the selection of restaurants and other vendors is pathetic for what you pay. I'll try again when/if Boca learns from other affluent cities exactly how to put on a real wine/food festival.
